The park looks nice from the entrance with plenty of parking. Maybe there's a trail, but we didn't look for it. We went to the off leash dog park area. It was smaller. No water source or trash receptacles. Hard packed dirt but no holes or puddles on this particular sunny, fall day. It's nice to have this spot for the nearby community but we didn't find it compelling and won't return. read more

I love Tambark! I take my dog to the off lease dog park, take the kiddos to the playground out front and could spend a couple hours exploring around. There is a field that is popular for photographers/ a good photography spot for those who may be interested. read more

Visited the park frequently between 2018 and 2023. Used to be a beautiful place to take the dog. Things changed in the last year. It's no longer closed so there are overnighters. Every time the public latrine returns, it is defaced or pushed on its side. Not sure about the bathrooms that are part of the main building. I guess the most disappointing is the garbage. When there was a larger dumpster on the premises, people who could care less about the park drove in to unload their own trash. Anything and everything went in there, including mattresses. It was often filled to capacity shortly after trash collection day. This fall the park/town decided to replace the large dumpster with a smaller one. All that did was create an even greater eye sore. People are still dumping stuff, but now they leave it beside the bin. Then, because it is so full, there are poop bags on the ground surrounding it. Too many park visitors with fur babies can't--won't--even ensure their dog's mess is placed in the dumpster. The last time I was there in late October I almost took a photo but then who do I send it to? Nobody seems to care anymore. Those in charge don't. And far too many people in the area don't either. They take this local community treasure for granted. Too bad. It used to be a great place to visit. read more

Love this park! There is something for everyone here. A play area for the kiddos, walking/biking trails, sports fields, and an off-leash dog area for the pups to play. Situated in between a couple different neighborhoods, this park gets a lot of families. The adults tend to be pretty attentive to the kiddos on the play area, which is nice, as I've been to a few play areas where the parents are busy on their phones and don't notice the havoc that their kid is wreaking. The trails are partly paved, they wind through a little forest that provides a nice coolness on those rare hot days. Parking is plentiful, and there are a few picnic shelters near the play area and the sports field. read more

The first thing I will say is this: If you're looking for an off leash dog park to bring your pooch to, avoid Tambark completely. If you live close-by and it's convenient, it's worth it to just go somewhere else. Not only have I personally experienced instances that really shook my pup, but as I've explored and ventured to other dog parks, I have heard terrifying stories from other goers. Owners here, in my opinion, are quite lazy. It's a small park anyway, and yet poop collects. There is also minimal control of their dogs, I have not seen a dog that is obedient here at all and listen to their owner. This is a big red flag. Every time I've visited, the people here are quite rude. They often blame you for what their dog is starting/doing, scrutinize you and ostracize you. Not welcoming at all. My dog was so scared when some bigger dogs started rushing her that she would yelp and run away but the other dogs would corner her and the owners would stand there and watch. I've heard terrifying stories from Tambark as well. One included a woman bringing her pit bull and it bit off another dogs ear. read more

I like to take my little dog here to the off-leash area and just for walks around the park. He's a yorkie so it doesn't take a huge park to give him a good exercise so the size of this park isn't bad for us. The only thing I wish they had was a more well maintained field area for general play other than the official sports teams on the sport field. Facilities are nice and parking is great as there are 2 areas on both ends of the park. read more

We had the off-leash park to ourselves. Kinda nice. Big enough for our puppy to run around and tire herself out. Our complaint is the lack of nearby garbage cans. Irresponsible owners have just left their poop bags in the entry area. Yes, it's clearly marked that you need to bring garbage out to the lot, but c'mon. See attached pics of what happens when you have lazy owners. Also, there aren't any nearby fountains to grab water for our furry friends. Simple fixes, and should've been mandatory at inception, but oh well. First and last time to go. Shame, since it's close by to our home. read more

My boyfriend and I took our 38 lb mix breed dog here after hearing a friend's rave reviews, and were fairly disappointed (please keep in mind we are used to Marymoor). This is not so much a dog park as it is a large, muddy pen. There was one bench in the middle of the pen to sit on, and not a lot of room for running dogs to sprint. Our dog can sprint for hours on end without getting tired. Here, he was just sort of ambling around in circles with nowhere to go, and there weren't very many other dogs for him to play with- I think actually only one when we were there. We'll be sticking with Marymoor from now on. As for the other reviews: dogs do, in fact run up to young children. Sometimes they even jump on them. They're usually not aggressive, and just trying to be friendly. The dog in Linda G's review was probably trying to play with her 4 year old daughter, not harm her. We didn't hear any construction noise when we were there, and I'm fairly certain we went on a weekday, so it's possible that's over. read more

What a treasure! This park has multiple playgrounds, a dog park, big open grass fields, and paved trails tied together with picturesque wooden bridges! Even on a cold cloudy day this park is booming with parents and kids. It's big enough though that you never feel crammed. Took my 3 year old husky to Tambark while visiting my family during the holidays and id give it a solid 8/10 Pros: - completely fenced - trees for shade - long grass and bushes for the doggos to explore - dog bags available! I have taken my Lady Dogs to the dog park area at Tambark Creek Park twice in the past 2 weeks now. The first time, on a Sunday was great. It's not the biggest dog park in the area by any means but it is big enough. It's a bit bigger than an acre and covered in wood chips. The "SMART" dog people have come in and set up a water bowl, poo bags, and a trash can so all you need to bring in is some water to put in the bowl (just in case) and you should be set for your best friend to have a great time. So today we went and it wasn't the best time ever. We had 2 problems. My smallest best friend, my Jack Russell terrier, Daisy is really skittish about loud noises. I don't live all that close to the area so didn't realize that there is a lot of construction in the area. Within 10 minutes she really wanted to leave. I didn't put it together at first. She kept running to the exit gate and back to me. Another dog parent there said "gee, I hope we aren't about to have an earthquake!" then I heard construction noise and understood! Poor girl. The next problem could be really bad for someone with a dog about Daisy's size but with more of a sense of adventure. In the leash staging area, there is a gap between the fence in the gate that Daisy was able to slip out of while I was putting Tasha's leash on her. Thankfully Daisy has no interest in being away from her people. She just really wanted to leave! Had that been Tasha who slipped out she would have bolted and looked for a more affluent family (she has a history of doing that) and I'd be at Kinkos printing out lost dog fliers now. I will likely be back, but only on the weekends when construction workers aren't working and only when I have someone else from home helping me with the dogs. read more

This used to be a 4 star dog park for us, but we have noticed that it is not maintained as well as it was. There are no longer garbage cans near the dog park, and there are sticker bushes and small stumps throughout the park, so be careful where you walk. This dog park is also not fully fenced. Our beagle escaped tonight through a hole in the fence. Because that wasn't frustrating enough, our car was broken into during our search for our escape artist of a dog. They smashed the window of our car and the car next to us. The sheriff told us this has happened several times recently in the same area of the dog park. The people here are very nice and we have not had any problems with aggressive dogs. read more

Idk why this place is only three stars, but I like this park. Even the dog section was good. My kid had fun on the playground and my dogs enjoyed their area. So much thins to do here, even the trail is short but fun to do. I am definitely coming back. read more

There is a dog park here that we like to take our little dog to. The off leash area is a decent size with a few benches to sit down on. Our dog likes it, but we have to watch him because the gate that opens has a gap he can fit through and get out. We usually go in the off leash area for a little bit and then walk him on leash around the walkway. Its a nice park :) read more

We take our dog here on the days when we don't feel like driving the extra distance to Willis-Tucker. This park is a little hard to find, because it's in a newer area of Mill Creek. They are building new homes behind it, too, so I imagine during weekdays it may get a little noisy. Parking is always great and the walk from your car to the dog park itself, is not that far. It's hardly ever crowded, the most we've seen there have been maybe 8 dogs? Given that you are technically in Mill Creek, the people who frequent this dog park seem pretty obsessed with how great their dogs are. Not that it's bad, but it's definitely a change from the larger parks (like Loganberry, in Everett). I think every time we've gone here, we have been the only people with a non-purebred. With that said, many of the times we have visited, other people tend to stick together in clusters: the golden retriever types, the small dog types, etc. It's not really a place where people are interested in making small-talk. We have never seen a dog fight here and the space itself is fairly large for those wanting the play. There are walking trails nearby, with athletic courts and a playground. Seating is limited to a couple benches and a few donated chairs. There also isn't any water fountain for our four-legged friends, nor is there a trashcan nearby for poop. Plastic bags are provided, but once you pick up, you have to take your bag to the dumpster located at the entrance of the park. Of course, people rarely do this so there are liter bags left all around the outside of the fence. That is kind of annoying. Overall, it's a small little park with varying amenities, depending on what you're looking for. read more

Reconnecting with Mothernature. Going back to where I came from. This is an excellent part that incorporates both the nature and outdoor fields. The trails are pretty nice for a morning or an afternoon walk. Very good energy here. The dig park is a good sized, usually see at least three dogs here running around socializing. The playground area is specially made with safe rubberized materials suitable for toddlers and above! This is a popular area for parents with babies or children. Overall, this park is celan-well kept family-friendly place that is engulfed in mother earth. read more

This is a little neighborhood dog park that was opened a year ago. It is not well maintained and because the garbage cans have been removed, now people either do not pick up their dog's stuff, or just dump the poop bags in the park, by the fence in the entrance. Of all places, I thought that this park was safe. Lots of families walking around, joggers, cyclists, etc. The parking lot is in broad view between the doggie park area and the children's playground. My car and the car next to mine were broken into. The lady who owns the car next to mine had her window smashed and her purse stolen. With this said, visitors beware, do not leave any valuables in your car, as it seems that according to the sheriff, this has been happening a lot recently. Now I don't feel safe walking around the trails. If they smash windows in the middle of a busy parking lot, imagine what could happen in the wooded areas where nobody could see if someone is being robbed or attacked? read more

We love this park quite a bit. We come her often and haven't ever had any major problems. It has lots of room for improvement, but I'll list what we like and don't like about this park. Pros: GATED!!! Any mom with small kids understands what a relief a gated park is. You can let them have a bit of freedom. Clean and nice bathroom facilities. Enough shade in the morning to avoid lathering the sunscreen on everyone. Parking right In front of the park. Cons: No garbage cans because it's a"pack in/pack out park." I get the concept, but there is always trash littering the park by mid day. I've seen a facilities guy come around to pick it up. ****just out garbage cans in!!!!! People will use them and then the nice park isn't littered with trash and items not safe for little kids. Bike parking?? Can they find a designated spot for this.... Bikes line the gates and often have handle bars poking in. I like that people bike here. I just think putting bikes next to the gate is distracting. My kids certainly would rather look at the bikes. Dogs. Ok.... I love my dogs and I get there is a dog park, but the kid park is a kid park. Don't bring your dogs and tie them up outside the gate, where they bark. I've had a parent bring her dog in the gate. She doesn't know how dogs or kids will get along. Common sense. There is also a frequent pair of kids that carry their tiny dog and leave it in an open bag in the park. They have no parent with them and multiple times I've suggested they tie the dog up under the table area. I have 2yo kids who don't understand how to leave the dog alone and it doesn't seem friendly. Where are the parents here to say this is not okay. Can we get a sign directing dog owners to keep the dogs at the dog park, tie them up away from the gate and DO not bring them inside??? Seriously, if I have to deal with a dog bite issue in a kids play area it's going to get REAL people. I don't bring my kids in your dog park! No slide????? Who forgot that.... They are fired. The climbing wall is useless. Every time I'm here I find pieces of the play structure around. Little caps that cover the bolts. Choking hazards!!! And also why are they falling out??? And since there is no garbage can... Guess where I throw them???? Outside the gate. (And I know there is a dumpster but I'm not leaving my kids unattended because the parks department was too cheap to install garbage cans.) I meet Nice families here and I wish more parks gated, even just portions of their parks, but Tambark could improve on these things. read more

Great place to take a walk with family, by yourself, or dog. Many trails to be discovered. Shaded areas for the hot days. A lot of kids in the play ground and at the field being active. Meet new people and neighbors everyone is friendly. Dog park is great. read more

We were so disappointed when we arrived. First we went to the off leash park, which is rather stark without a single place to sit down. There was also an aggressive dog there that kept jumping on my 4 year old daughter who the owner did nothing about except to say that we should not bring her to a dog park. Then we went to the playground, which is very small. There were only 2 swings for non-babies, and they were being monopolized by 2 mothers who would not have their kids share. To be honest, I have never encountered such rude people at a park in my entire life. I think I will stick with Willis Tucker Park! read more
