Tami (with Donald pinch hitting for her at one meeting in the buying process) was outstanding. She helped with both the sale of our first home and the acquisition of our new build. Our experience with Tami was exemplary throughout. Results: Old house was under contract in 4 days after selling, for $5,000.00 more than asking price, and sold on time with no difficulties. She walked me through the process from beginning to end - from helping me determine how to prep and stage the home (including bringing your spotty lawn up to plush, full grass in a matter of 4 weeks) to managing a fallen tree (due to wind / storm damage) 5 days before closing. If you ever sold a house and didn't have someone prepping you for every step along the way (while precisely and accurately predicting how things would play out along the way), then you would have enjoyed having Tami represent you. She really knows what she is doing. Even when she had to be out of town during the few days it was on the market, she was completely available by phone and had contingency plans in place to manage all manner of potential issues that could have come up. Her market research was spot on. Never any surprises!
The home building / purchasing process is daunting. Don't walk into that process without representation. I have heard nightmares from others, but Tami was along for the entire 7 month roller coaster ride. Again, having an advocate in this process matters - it is the difference, often times, between and bunch of YES's and a bunch of NO's. Prediction and forecasting for Tami seems to come easily for her. She foresaw the issues that we should pay attention to and she relentlessly followed up with builders to make sure our needs were met. There were also a couple of times she had to step in to ask questions and give suggestions to us that we would have otherwise not known to insist on or know to ask about. Even after the closing, she managed the issues (there were only a few) that reared their ugly heads - she promptly addressed and followed up each one. The process was still an arduous journey for my entire family, but I shudder at the thought of attempting to manage it all without her right along with us the entire way.
This is not our first home purchase, but I have met my last realtor - Tami will always have loyal customers with the quality level of service and professionalism that she brings to the table. Both Tami and Donald are friendly and pleasant company. It is kind of like...actually, it is exactly like having good friends who know how to buy and sell real estate, and who are willing to share all of their knowledge with you and leverage their experience on your behalf during (arguably) the most important purchase you will ever make.
