*Yes, "He will meet with you face-to-face," as the reviews on his website state. (And now Zoom,…read moresince Covid.) *Yes, "He will set you up on the "best plan.'" *Yes, "He will help you understand the complexities of Medicare." (Which change every year.) *Yes, he did all of the above for me. So, "Why a 1-star review?" For those who want the bottom line, here it is - after you become his customer, he does none of the above. I was notified in an email that the med I have been on for two years won't be covered by the pharmacy plan he has me on next year. He states in an email, "Your cost will be $1311.52 per month." When I asked why he can't do anything about it, he replies, "The medicare enrollment date has passed." I call him and said, "You're my broker. You're supposed to take care of your customers. You know I have this med. This is my third year with you." Response - "I have 1800 customers. I can't look at everybody." SO, HE ONLY TAKES CARE OF YOU THE FIRST YEAR. AFTER THAT, YOU'RE ON YOU OWN. ============== Details are below: He does the above bulleted items for his PROSPECTS while courting their business. As an example, he drove 2 1/2 hours from Atlanta, GA, to Augusta, GA, to meet with me two years ago. He has had my business for 2-years. 2021 starts year 3. He has my meds list on file. Today I received an email from him. He tells me the pharmacy plan he has me on is not going to cover my primary medicine in 2021. It is going to cost me $1311.52 per month. My cost last year was $48.61per month. I email him back and ask him why doesn't he put me on another plan? He emails back and states, "Medicare enrollment is over." I pick up the phone and call him. I ask him, "Brad, you've had my meds list for 2 years. The only thing that changed this year is replacing 1 generic with another generic, and adding 1 generic. You KNOW I have that one really high-cost med." I further state, "You're my broker. You're supposed to take care of me!?" You want to know his reply?? "I have 1800 customers. I can't look at everybody," he states. So, THAT is why you'll get white-glove service year 1. You're his prospect. Once you are his customer, good luck. I guess working with insurance brokers is like working with cell phone providers. Every time you switch, you get a good deal. After that, if you stay with them, you're screwed." It took 3-years of trial and error (before I was on Medicare) for my doctor and me to finally find this med that works. Now, after working with Brad, I can't afford it and I'll have to find something else. I sure hope something like this doesn't happen to you if you choose to work with Brad. He sure hurt me. PS: The location for the review states "San Francisco." I live in Georgia, where The Surrett Group does business. I assume San Franciso was put as the location because I signed in with my Google Account.

The Medicare Compare USA was enormously helpful to me navigating Medicare. Quite simply, I couldn't…read morehave done it without Brad Surrett and his team's guidance. His knowledge of all the plans caused him to select the best one for me. His motto is, 'There is no best plan, there is a best plan for you.' I would recommend this service without hesitation." - Margaret Adair "At a time when the amount of incoming information can seem overwhelming, I was put in touch with a representative, that simplified the process immensely. I was confident in his expertise and objective professionalism. Suddenly what had seemed complicated, with his help, became a far simpler decision. I am very grateful for the timely and effective consultation from Emory's Medicare Insurance Helpline." - Mary Abott
