So today 10/10/25 I came into this nail salon today to get a short French tip acrylic set. The prices were already pretty steep, but I was still willing to come back later since they were busy. When I asked the man at the front (who seemed to be in charge) what time they closed, he told me 7:30. I said I'd return around that time, but he immediately refused and said they'd be "full later." The whole interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. If they only take appointments, that should have been stated upfront instead of turning someone away without explanation. What made it worse was that I was the only person of color in the salon, and the way I was treated made me feel completely unwelcome. It was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience -- and I won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

I honestly did not like the service here. I just got my nails done by Tim. My nails are overfilled and out of shape. I was supposed to get short acrylic French nails, but they look oval and asked for the French tip. They did not do it as I want it. They just put on white fake nails and cover it with a clear top polish. I also have a broken nail that was just covered with a clear acrylic but you can't see it. My mom and I haven't done our nails since the pandemic and I wanted to take my mom to do her nails. We walked in and we asked for two pedis. We decided to wait because they were busy I even told my mom we should leave but she really wanted to do her nails. She wanted to do her nails with the owners mom so I went with a different person to do my nails. I totally regret not leaving! I didn't catch her name but she was really aggressive with my nails and she literally cut me so many times. I'm still in pain I can't even put my socks on. I told her exactly what I wanted and needed (get rid of all my cuticles) which other techs it seems they don't know or afraid to cut. She did it all without cutting me. I haven't done my nails in over 12 years and was nervous to do the hit-or-miss nail salon experience. Especially when I wanted to do acrylics. I walked into Tammy's (without an appointment) and waited about 20-25 minutes for service. On a Thursday night the place was busy which is a good sign. She took almost 2 hours for a simple gel manicure. She kept cutting me and kept telling me to stop moving every time I felt the pinches. They don't know how to polish as they leave it bumpy making it look bulky and uneven. I told her and she had the audacity to ask "what's wrong with it" Look at how uneven my thumbs are, even the shape is way off and even in length. I went on a Monday evening and it was empty! :D I asked for gel a mani and pedi. I was impressed by the guy who did my finger nails as he made it his mission to remove cuticles... However the gel application for my mani was horrible. I had to ask him to go over the sides of my finger nails a few times because you could clearly see he missed a few spots LOL Plus the polish application looked streaky Im giving this place 4 stars tho because they get down with the pedis... At least the lady that did my feet does. Will come back for a pedicure... Not so sure about a gel manicure as I've paid cheaper for a better application. The shop is clean, no loud chatter, just nice and relaxing. I'm extremely picky so I was pretty anxious. Came here for my vacation nails and omg did not like their service. When I told the guy if he could fix one nail because it looked very uneven he told me my fingers were uneven I was like no sir their not. The lady doing my feet did a horrible job. I went to get a regular manicure and a spa pedicure. She did a great job took her time and really paid attention to detail her work. I really appreciated her service. I've been to Tammy Nails before with better experiences, but unfortunately, the standard of care for the customer was so low this time that I literally created a yelp account just to post this review. The license on Tim's station has a mysteriously obscured expiration date, for starters. As the manicure went on, I realized that there were still nail clippings scattered around the table from the previous client. He began to buff my nails with an old buffer, probably used on multiple clients before me. When I complained, it was as if he hadn't heard me and completely ignored my complaint. The last straw was when he told me to wash off my hands before he painted them. I told him the acrylic nails were filed crookedly and that I'd like them fixed. He refused to do so, claiming my nails were already crooked when I arrived, and that they could not be filed into the right shape. I left with my nails halfway done, unacceptable. read more

This is your typical hole in the wall low quality nail salon. I went with high expectations due to their good reviews on here. I was completely disappointed. I went in for a mani and pedi. This man did my mani which was very messy. Although he did a good job on cleaning up my nails by removing the dead skin when it came to painting them he did not do a decent job around my cuticle area. Next, I had the "luck" of having this older woman with glasses do my pedicure. Everything was going fine until she started removing the dead skin. On one of my toes she kept digging into it until she made it bleed. Before she noticed I was looking at her, she then proceeded to take the dead skin she had been taking off my toes from the cuticle clipper and decided it was a great idea to place it on top of my bleeding toe so that I wouldn't notice. Next, she continued with my next toe but when she got to the toe after that one she yanked the skin (instead of clipping it little by little) and made that one bleed as well... I then asked her if I was bleeding and she blatantly lied and said it was nothing. After that I opt out to not get any polish on my toes. When it came down to paying and to my surprise they charged me $17! This was the first and last time I come here!!!! If you would like a pedi with a side of two cut up toes and no nail polish for a wonderful total of $17 this is your place! Please pray I don't end up with fungus!!! read more
