Concierge offers both implants & bridges. My insurance policy made my choice for me, but the pricing was in line with what my peers have paid recently. I wanted to also call attention to the Cherry app that they connected me with that can approve you for extended payments starting at 0% interest if that is more comfortable ;). Anyway, there was no pressure, no long waits and since it had been an uncomfortably long time since I'd had regular dental maintenance Dr. Hoon made sure that I got in for a good cleaning, the hygienist was super nice! Also seeing a dentist was not to be that day. She perormed a little cleaning with a water pick and stopped. She would do the rest with the deep cleaning. I complained and she did a little more, but no scrapeing, polishing or dentist evaluation. I was shown to another room where a man told me that would be $1800+. He also told me they gave me a free cleaning. Not true compared to the many times in my 70+ years of experience. (That would have been covered by insurance.) However I canceled a…read moreMonday afternoon appointment at 7 AM on that Monday because I was diagnosed with Covid on Sunday and was extremely ill... I had been a long time patient and had never canceled previously. When speaking with the receptionist, she advised me to still come to the appointment. I could not rightfully expose the dental hygienist to my illness. I now have a $40 cancellation fee! Seems like WM dental cares more about the money than their staff!

First let me say that I have no fear of dentistry at all so you can read the review with that in mind and imagine how it would be for someone who does have these issues. Recently I had something ,other than my usual every six month cleaning year after year, occur and I needed it handled as soon as possible. I called my usual Amherst office and explained the situation to the office staff who were very nice and had me speak to Dr Laura Littman. Dr Littman was absolutely wonderful. She understood my concern and wanted to get me in the correct situation as soon as possible. She was so very helpful in getting me in to the Orchard Park office that day. When I arrived at the Orchard Park office their staff was so welcoming. Nikki ( assistant) and Dr Fallon never made me feel like I disrupted their schedule. Dr Fallon asked questions and listened to the answers. Asked if the angle of the chair was comfortable for me, generally was very conscious of me as a patient my comfort and any possible concerns. He resolved the issue and gave me all the information I needed. His chair side manner was above and beyond doctors in any science. The checkout staff was equally thoughtful and helpful topping off the whole experience with kindness. I can't express my thanks enough and how impressed I was by everyone from my first phone call to the Amherst office to checking out at the Orchard Park office, by everyone.

Dr. Alan Siu then came in and said that I needed a deep cleaning along with some dental fillings which he recommended that I have treated. I told him that I was almost 70 years old with both cancer and diabetes and that I only wished to have conservative dental treatment unless I was in discomfort. He then insisted that I have the treatment and stated perhaps I did not understand. I told him I was an educated man who understood perfectly well but denied such treatment. He then tried to cajole me saying then they might not be the right dentist for me. I agreed and left, never to return. In my view, Dr. Siu was arrogant and pompous and I would not recommend him.

When I have dental insurance, I've been coming here. I moved for a time and experienced another…read moredentist, which was totally great as well. After coming back here, I've noticed some changes. Yeah, they could update their office a bit - but if it works, it works. My issue is that, upon returning, I've had a newer dentist that doesn't have bedside manner. Very gruff, short and to the point, and not really explanatory. I can be alright with that if you're competent and good at your job. But, in the times I've been, it seems like he goes out of his way to activate my gag reflex. Yes, I have one and I warn people about it - but if you're in my mouth and then just start wriggling around, of course I'm going to gag. What was the reason for you to start doing that? And, if there is a reason, let me know - part of a gag reflex is a control thing. Also, if I've just gagged, don't ask if you can try again 10 seconds later - there's a process to gain composure and it takes time. I've worked with a bunch of dentists. The best ones operate on a consent model - "I'm going to do this now, okay?" is a very clear and powerful question. It makes the process easier and it is communicative. The hygienists here are usually pretty good. Friendly and probably trying to make up for the fact that they have someone who doesn't relate to patients well. Cleanings have been generally pretty good for me in the past few years. Quick, easy, and I'm out. I miss Dr. Burgler! Lastly, I sent in a payment a month ago yet got a reminder bill for the same payment. I'm pretty sure it's their office not processing the payment quick enough - not me having never sent a payment. So, how about a chill?
