I arrived for new appointment 15 min. early and ended up sitting in the wait room for 45 min. Was taken back, given x-rays and then sat in the chair for 10 min while hygienist took time to review my file. She grabbed the dentist who did an exam found no immediate issues. She then began to "map" teeth and at the end she said she can't clean my teeth because I need a periodontal scaling (which I made the mistake of saying I had that in the past and that she would have to reschedule me to do it). I said I can't afford that right now (my insurance will only cover a regular cleaning in full) and asked if she would just clean my teeth as that is at least something. She again refused to do that. I guess this was a waste of my time (1.5 hours in total) and I will be watching my insurance to make sure they don't bill for a cleaning. Thanks to them I will have to now wait 6 months and find a dentist that will actually clean my teeth because they did x-rays and exam and my insurance will only cover that every 6 months. Bad business decision. They should have just done the cleaning and gained a new patient who later down the road may have had the money to actually do the scaling. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Every time I've gone to Concierge(Dr. Viktoriya) at the Clarence location I've always felt like a VIP. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The same can be said for the N. Buffalo location with Dr. Ben. I feel like I'm visiting with friends. Dr. Viktoriya did an upper and lower partial for me and they did a fantastic job. I had to get a new upper done at N. Buffalo office. We had a little hiccup with the first rendition of the new upper. So Dr. Ben called Evolution Dental Lab and set me up with an appointment with Jim the technician that was working on my upper. Jim and also the owner Andy(great guys and top notch lab) worked together and I ended up with a perfect partial. Concierge and Evolution Dental Lab will go the distance to make sure things are right. I could not be more satisfied with the whole experience. Not sure why that picture below Concierge Dental is associated with my review. I would definitely recommend both locations. I have been told a procedure would cost $80 out of pocket, nope I was charged $1,200. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have showed up for an appointment for a cleaning and was told I canceled it, I showed I texted the confirmation back and their "system" accidently canceled it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I requested to have my medical records transferred to another Dentists because I am not dealing with this mess, and they sent it to someone else, NOT me! i was told that I needed a "deep Cleaning" that required 2 separate visits that were not covered by my health insurance. I went to them for these services and was charged $1500 and had no more than 25 minutes in total with the dentist. I waited a week to write this because at age 73 I know there is always a adjustment period after any dental procedure. I had a lower jaw mini implant procedure that consisted of four implants and a full denture. I found that the Concierge Dental Group - Clarence is a highly organized well run operation. My consultation and procedure was done by Dr. Viktoriya Kuchuk. Her expertise and workmanship is outstanding. She is a core asset to the organization and deserves recognition. Incredibly untrustworthy. Dr Blakely would say I had a cavity at every single appointment - never in my life have I gone to the dentist and had cavities every visit. I was getting a cavity filled and she did not numb the area properly so I felt her drilling into my tooth. I told her to stop. She "numbed" it again, but I still felt it afterwards. This never happened to me when I got cavities filled as a teenager so I know I am not resistant to Novocaine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also always canceled appointments on me. Multiple times in a row.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I never minded going to the dentist before coming here, but I've since developed a fear and severe distaste for dentists. I went here one time because my old dentist no longer accepted my insurance. I will never return. The hygienist gave me a shoddy cleaning saying I'd have to come back for a deep cleaning. He took all kinds of X-rays I didn't need. I had to then pay out of pocket even though they said they accepted my insurance. The dentist offered me a "free" appointment to return so she could go through my mouth "tooth by tooth" to tell me what I needed done. When the hygienist walked me out, he and the receptionist talked about what services he would get paid for! They work on commission and don't even try to hide it! It's awful! I felt like I was at the auto shop for an oil change and they wanted to sell me a new transmission. The building is beautiful but only a ruse for getting unnecessary services. Do not go here unless you want to get services you don't need and then have to pay out of pocket. You only have one set of teeth! I am adding this part of the review only a few hours later. I just received a text from them that I owed another $113! I paid $65 yesterday. So, in total, $198 for a shoddy cleaning. They're only out for the money! Disgusting! read more

Wouldn't trust them. 1. First visit: cleaning. They scheduled me (knowing what type of insurance I have) at an office that doesn't take my insurance. I had the cleaning, and when it was time for the dentist to come in to check my teeth, the hygenist left for several minutes, and the manager showed up and said, "We're going to give you a FREE consultation at our Clarence office!". (where they take the insurance). So, I needed to go to the dentist twice. 2. Mouth guard: Unusable. I requested a soft one. They did the impression and made a hard one. Then a soft one. Adjusted it. Still no good - it was pressing on and hurt my teeth. Went back for a fourth time (not including the cleaning) and they adjusted it again. In disgust, I went home and tossed it in the trash. 3. THEY WERE GOING TO DO A FILLING WHERE THERE WAS NO CAVITY. THE DENTIST TOLD ME I HAD A CAVITY. I was prescribed valium, took it, went there, but the anxiety I had regarding their past incompetence scared me so much I couldn't let them drill me. (I have a phobia of the drill). I just couldn't go back to them - they're a total mill. For my last cleaning, I changed dentists, and they got the X-Rays from Concierge. NO CAVITY. I called Concierge to confront the dentist who saw me and she said that the filling was for an "occlusal space.". She "didn't recall" saying "cavity," and there was "no cavity" in the notes. I am POSITIVE SHE SAID CAVITY - She was so unconcerned as to the content of our conversation that in closing, she told me to "Have a great rest of the day!". When I asked someone at my new dentist's office about the term "occlusal space," she had never heard of it, in 27 years of working in dentistry. It is a sad state of affairs that someone who goes through the equivalent of medical school would conduct themselves in such a shameful manner. read more

This is no doubt a very busy office. The staff are kind, patient + willing to take their time to ensure you have proper care. Honestly, some of the warmest staff I've seen in a medical office, which is nice. The office has state of the art equipment, is super clean + decorated well. read more

My experience with the staff at the Clarence office has always been top notch. Lisa W. is a wonderful hygienist who is gentle and caring. Throughout the entire cleaning she stops from time to time to ask if I am doing okay or if I need anything. Went there at the end of January for 2 fillings on teeth I've never had pain in. They barely numbed me, complained when I still felt everything after 4 injections and said it's "normal" because I have blue eyes, yanked the metal piece out of my mouth after finishing (felt like they rushed through it because it was 2 fillings in less than an hour), and I have been in serious pain since. They also tried to get me to pay $4000 for braces to fix a single tooth I have never had issues with. They are in it for the money and nothing else. Definitely not going back and not recommending this practice to even my worst enemy! I haven't even been able to eat on the left side since this procedure! read more

I was flossing and an ENTIRE piece of my filling came out. What a horrible experience. Dr. Blankely did my filling less than two months ago and in my 25 years of having fillings I've NEVER had a dental filling fall out. Now I have a huge hole in my mouth. I've already gone to two dentist to see if they could fix the horrible job she did and nobody can seem to fix it or alleviate the pain I've been experiencing on that side of my mouth since I got the filling and today this happens. It's Sunday so I can't even go to a dental practice to get this fixed. I still can't chew from the side of my mouth which Dr. Blakely performed the fillings. Thank god I didn't get my other side of my mouth filled with fillings that she "recommended" or I would be in big trouble. Concierge Dental Group - Clarence - Piece of filling that fell out after flossing - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Buffalo, New York

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. I had my first visit at Concierge Dental Group - Clarence (formerly Clarence Smiles Family Dentistry) in November of 2020 because this is one of the few practices that accepts my insurance and I needed x-rays and a cleaning (something that I could not afford out of pocket because I am unemployed). Nellie, the dental hygienist was nice and did a good job of cleaning my teeth, however, she said she was finished with my cleaning and did not floss me. She told me that they only "floss upon request". I was then seen by Dr. Jessica Blakely that informed me that I had three cavities. I could not believe I had three because I had only had two other cavities my entire life and I am obsessed with my dental hygiene. I wanted a second opinion so I asked for a copy of my x-rays so that I could see my regular dentist that I normally pay out of pocket to see. I did have two cavities, however, the third that Dr. Blakely reported I had was a filling of a previous cavity. I ended up paying out of pocket with my regular dentist because I trusted him. On my first visit in November, before I left the office, they printed out a "treatment" plan in which they recommended I fill three cavities and get sealants on four other teeth at $50 per tooth for a total of $200 - something I could not afford at that time. They had me sign the treatment plan acknowledging that that was they recommended to me. Fast forward to my second appointment at this location in June of 2021, Nellie cleaned my teeth and questioned me about my regular dentist and I explained that I feel comfortable with my regular dentist, but cannot afford to go there because I am unemployed and this office accepts my insurance so that is why I was going there and she said, "Oh, so you hate us.". It was very unprofessional that she questioned me about my dentist and even used that practice's name. I asked her before she started to clean me to please floss me. A cleaning is not complete without a floss! I had to wait a few minutes to be seen by the dentist because she was not in the office yet. Finally, Dr. Blakely entered the room and started examining my teeth and dictating dental jargon to Ms. Nellie. I asked what was going on when I closed my mouth and she explained to me that I had SIX cavities. I looked at Dr. Blakely like a deer in headlights due to my disbelief. She said, "What?" and I said, "I just can't believe I have six cavities when I was just here in November." She then replied, "Well, had you done the four sealants I recommended, those teeth would not have become cavities. If you want a second opinion, you can go to "XYZ" (she named the practice where I normally go) and left the room with the dental hygienist. I just sat in the exam chair in disbelief and shock. I was thinking in my head, "Oh my gosh, maybe I have a medical problem or else why would I have so many cavities at once?". I had to find my way to the front desk by myself and when I got there, the receptionist's back was faced toward me. She stood up from the computer and walked into a back office where Nellie (the dental hygienist) and two other women were standing there talking. Another woman came out and asked, "Can I help you?" to which I replied, "Yes - I am looking for my treatment plan." She quickly said that if I wanted my treatment plan, any of my x-rays, or if I wanted a second opinion, I would no longer be considered a patient of the Concierge Dental Group and they would release all of my records to me. Once again, I just stood there like a deer in headlights in her approach. I replied to her, "I just wanted to get my treatment plan and wasn't planning on getting a second opinion." and she replied, "That's not what I was told." and I told her that the dentist told me in the exam room that I could get a second opinion if I wanted. She then printed out the treatment plan, placed it on the counter, and walked away. I was standing there still needing to schedule another cleaning and possibly the fillings. I could hear the receptionist ask this lady if she had scheduled anything for me to which she replied, "No." and the receptionist came back to schedule me. I told her, "I am feeling extremely uncomfortable right now. All I asked for was my treatment plan like my first visit and then was told I would no longer be considered a patient if XWZ." and she replied, "I am sorry you feel that way." and continued to schedule a cleaning and two appointments for the fillings. There were two other patients in the waiting room, hearing this conversation and it was extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the only dental hygienist in the practice was in that back room chit chatting and talking about me and the situation.
