I don't typically do nail salons but I had a last minute trip and needed them done ASAP. Anna did my nails and she was phenomenal! I got a dip set done and I was very impressed by the attention to detail and precision. Definitely recommend! And the price is great too!

Took almost 2 hours for a short full set and was charged $70(before tip) without a breakdown.. for a salon that was empty almost the entire time I was there. The gal who was my tech seemed like she had a LOT of artistic experience, but the process of removing, adding and shaping the new nails was rough. I got 1 cut on one of my fingers, she was going to glue the new tips onto EXTREMELY jagged edged nails that were not washed yet, and kept heating up my nail beds like crazy with too much pressure and time in the same spot with the dremel. No prices in the front, no discussion of extras, no offer to massage(which 99% of the time comes with a full set mani). No offer of anything, actually. The nails still look good, but a pretty set doesn't take away from the entire experience of the salon itself. I always try a few times in case it was just an odd day, so if things go smoother and more straight forward next time, I'll adjust the rating. But I can't go past 3 stars right now and almost put 2 instead. Tammy was very nice while I saw her and this review is not about her at all, just the atmosphere of the place. She was not my tech, either. I did not see or get a name for the gal who did my set and she only spoke like twice to me the whole time. Like I said, great artist, but I get my nails done to relax. This was not relaxing at all.

I love this place... Ladies are lovely and do a fabulous job! They are on time always and accommodate my needs.

****UPDATE**** I'm bumping this review up to 4 stars because I realized that the Mickey Mouse I asked for was actually a mouse! Total miscommunication on my part, and because of that I'm not penalizing someone for my inability to communicate my wishes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My concerns were that they didn't know how to draw a Mickey Mouse silhouette, which is a bit surprising actually. But I'm guessing not everyone knows The Mouse, and that's fine. Secondly, while my daughter's nails came out wonderfully, mine could use a bit of clean-up, which I didn't notice until I was home (see photos) That aside, it was a bit pricier than I realized but an overall enjoyable experience. Will we be going back? Probably to try them out again. They seemed like they would have remedied my nail issues if I had pointed them out sooner.

Nail lessons during covid had me switch to a nail type that removes easier if necessary. After some research and trials... I stuck with dip powder. Tammy has done it again! What an awesome red to black DIP powder ombre! Thank you again Tammy!

Finally found the best pedicure place. Tammy's is clean, friendly, and Annie and Trish do a great job! Took me a long time to find them. Their prices, in comparison to other nail shops, is a deal. I'm getting gel pedicures for a reasonable cost and they do a fabulous job! read more

I will not be returning to Tammy's Nails due to a serious lack of pricing transparency. They do not have gel pedicure pricing posted; instead, they list a standard price and then surprise you with a $15.00 that should be posted. Under California's Honest Pricing Law (SB 478), businesses must clearly disclose all mandatory fees in their advertised prices. When I tried to politely clarify the cost, the staff became argumentative and confrontational in front of other clients. It is unprofessional to expect customers to pay unlisted fees and then create a hostile environment when questioned. I recommend going elsewhere if you value clear, honest pricing. read more

yesterday on 4/3/2026; i had a 3:00pm appt. for fill with tammy and pedicure. (i received a call please come in early 2:30 pm. i was at my pharmacy waiting for them to come back from lunch. so i decided to accommodate tammy by coming in at 2:30pm.) but i found a lady in tammys chair. so i got pedicure instead. they always push pedicures when i come in for fills etc.. but while my nails were drying another lady who walked in was given to tammy and i was totally ignored when i saw this and objected. i sat there 45-60 mins. i then decided enough was enough. i got up paid for pedicure and left. the man who thinks he runs the place is an idiot. he does not know customer service or what appointments are. i was disrespected. i was mad when i left without getting my nails fill done. this is the second time this happened! i will no longer be going there. also they charge extra $10 for gel polish which is illegal. california pricing law (sb 578) businesses must clearly disclose all mandatory prices posting them in their advertising. the extra $15 fee for gel nail polish is an insult!! there are nail places on every block. i found a new one around the corner! read more

Worst nail salon. Very rude and very unprofessional. I asked for a French tip, at first she told me 5 extra then she said 15, when I asked why the sudden jump she got mad and shooed me out. I do not recommend. Then she proceeded to say "nothing is free" which was super rude. I left. I recommend Carmichael nails instead. Great prices and good service. read more

Had an appointment,recommended by a friend, how bad could it be? Asked for the $45.00 pedi gel and just a coat of clear gel on my finger nails! First the pedicurist kept me waiting while she finished her lunch, no problem....just someone tell me, When she finally started I asked her not to use latex glove, I'm severely allergic! Ok fine, first she cut my nails and I asked her to cut them shorter ( acted put out) so she went thru the whole pedicure and never turned on the spa,why? Then another women came over and started setting up for a Manicure and I told her that's not what I asked for I just wanted a cost of gel,clear. So when I was finally finished and went up front to pay and she gave me a slip of paper with the amount $70.00, I said what is this for, well it seems that it was $50.00 for the pedicure and $20.00 for the manicure...I didn't get a manicure,just a coat of gel...yeah well that was $20.00 and the pedicure was $50.00 I said I can see that ,it seems that with gel you get charged more, but of course that's not stipulated. I will never return and I hope if you are thinking of going please give it a second thought. read more

I was just turned away from an empty salon. She has people coming and she was UNABLE to serve me. She didn't ask if I wanted to make an appointment she just looked at me and said no. Very discriminatory in my opinion. I won't be back but a heads up to others seeking a new salon. Be aware. read more

Called at around 4pm on a Friday to see if they had an opening for a pedicure; was booked for 6pm, Cool! I get there a bit early and advise I'm there for my appointment. The owner looks at her employees, says something in their language, turns back to me and says, sorry but I double booked you. I can take you but I can only do basic pedicure. First off, YOU double booked me so YOU should take responsibility for your mistake and stay a bit over closing time, if needed. That's called accountability and providing good customer service. Second, why would you not call me to tell me this before I drove down here?! You literally confirmed my telephone number on your caller ID when making the appointment! In addition to, I could have possibly made an appointment somewhere else. Um yeah - turned off - won't be back! read more

My coworker had her nails done here and I really loved them. I even noticed that they lasted for many weeks. She recommended that I purchased a Groupon for the nail salon, so I did! I called a few days in advance to set an appointment for 530 Pm. When I arrived I realized there was no parking at all so I parked in the back. I was greeted promptly but it was pretty busy and there was a wait. I don't think I was actually seen until 550 PM. My pedicure was really good, the lady was quite attentive and got deep into all my pedicure needs. She did a very thorough job with filing, trimming and making sure my toes were perfect. The color I picked wasn't dark enough and she was happy to find another color to add on top. It worked out just fine. I did the gel manicure and it has since been my best gel manicure experience in a long time. I don't think I've ever used the DND gel brand before but I think I like it more than the OPI gel nail polish. I hope to be back in a few weeks for another gel manicure. I had to deduct the one star because of the wait. Good customer service though and friendly staff. read more

This was my first time here at this Salon. I have to say that this has been one of most pleasant experiences I have had in a nail Salon. I live in San Diego, Ca. I had no idea where to go to get my nails done. I saw some good reviews so I decided to come here. So glad I did. Kim the lady that did my nails was awesome!! My nails were not the easiest to do because I had a different colored acrylic on my nails. She was able to not only match the color but also did a beautiful reshape to them. I decided to get waxed and get a pedicure. Anna, did a beautiful job with my eye brow and lip waxing, I was thrilled! Now I'm in the pedicure seat getting a pedicure. These two women are professional and know there stuff! I will definitely recommend anyone new in town as I am and especially the locals! Come see them, they are truly terrific!! read more

I was there today to get a pedicure and its was hot inside the nail shop as it was 102 degrees outside. Tammy, the Owner said she is keeping the air off until the thermostat reaches 100 degrees. She has a swamp cooler pointed at her but you can't feel it if your not right in front of it. Ill be looking for a new nail shop as she doesn't care about the customers comfort just about the money it costs to run the air. read more

I've gotten my nails done all over but I love coming here. They really take their time and the pedicure experience is lovely even at the lowest tier. Massage chairs, sugar scrub, hot towel and massage on both feet/legs and hands/forearms. I've taken my 6 year old daughter with me and she always has a positive experience as well. Will definitely continue going back!! read more

I wish I can get more stars to this place. I am thrilled with both experiences I have had here. The first time I went there, I got a pedicure and a fill and they did a phenomenal job. Tonight I went in for a full set and I am blown away with the outcome. Tammy gave me her opinion on a color and shape and I'm glad I went with it! Tammy always does an excellent job on my nails! She works faster than most technicians I've been to and the quality has never been compromised. This works out so well for busy women like me. What I like the most is that Tammy doesn't bulk up on the acrylic, which is especially important for shorter kept nails to look more natural. I haven't gone to anyone else since I found her. I called into Tammy's nail salon for a full set and pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was amazing although she didn't ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. The lady who did my full set was nice but I asked for ombré and she told me she couldn't do them because she didn't know how and the only thing she could do was plain. I should of took that as a red flag as she was doing my nails she cut them short and then continued to file them down so they continued to get shorter. She cut my finger and didn't wipe it with alcohol so then blood was painted into my nail and the acrylic was very bumpy and not even. There was lumps of acrylic left under my nails and on the side of my nails as well. None of my nails were even. I've been here a few times for fills and pedicures hoping to make it my new spot. I could usually get an appointment same day, which is nice, but I only liked my nails when Tammy the owner did them. She was always friendly and meticulous. I've had several ladies give me pedicures and they were always flawless! I appreciated the sanitary nature in which they did my nails and could clearly see each tool had come from an autoclave bag. The price is pretty reasonable for nails and they accept credit cards. It's pretty rare to find salons that offer the custom chrome and glitter nail rubs that you see on Instagram, but this place has them! They also offer a variety of gems, but I think they're over priced and when I got them they fell off within a couple days. I was also charged extra once for the coffin shape.. which I don't get. Overall, this is a very nice salon and I recommend checking it out! read more

I was a walk-in customer yesterday (4-4-23). I ask if they could do (DIP) nails. The lady said yes. I do not believe she knew what she was doing. I didn't get a chance to look for a color she asked what color I wanted. I said I wanted to look at some colors. She said what color. I said a pink color for Easter. She only gave me 3 colors to pick from. I picked pink. What I am upset about is that the next (today 4-5-23) the color is gone. I ask for a refund of my $50.00 and she said (NO). She said she didn't know what I did to my nails and would not give me my refund back. After I said I was going to write this review she said they would put another color on for free. NO thank you if you can't do it right the first time why would I let you do it again. So, for anyone that wants to get their nails (DIP) I would not go here. read more

This was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. I walked in around 230 and was told it would be about a 10 min wait. They had me choose my color and there were plenty to choose from, and she had the matching gel color (as gel is the only one I'll use for a mani). They use tub liners for the pedi which I like. I chose the gold mani/pedi (included the paraffin wax) because, why not?! It had been years since I had either done and Tammy's attention to detail was greatly appreciated! She spent a lot of time making sure everything was perfect :) My total came to $49 and I couldn't have been happier, honestly. I had debated on whether or not I should purchase the Groupon prior to going in and I'm so glad I didn't! For those of you complaining about Groupon purchases, the Groupon us very specific in offering the Silver mani/pedi. If you are not happy with that, then don't buy it. Stop complaining!! He was attentive and ensured every detail was perfect. Following my pedi, I had a gel manicure with Annie, who was not only skilled but also delightful to chat with. Just got back from getting full, pink n white. I followed Tammy from where she was previously employed, that's how good she is. She takes her time And has never nicked my cuticles. Painfree. They look AMAZING....I get compliments on a daily basis, how nice my nails look. I've been getting my nails done for 22 years now, not once has anyone addressed me by my name, until I met Tammy. This was my 1st experience at receiving a pedicure and it was amazing. My youngest daughter came to town for Father's Day she treated me to lunch and then to the nail salon. We chose Tammy's because of the good reviews and the close proximity to my home. The shop was busy but they got me right in with the owner herself doing the pedicure on me. As an older guy I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice and comfortable place , workers are really organized and try their best to attend you as soon as possible. They are also very nice and always try to keep an nice convo going :) I got a full set of fiber glass and I got them in a silver-ish chrome and it's has been suuupppeerrr hard to find chrome (I live near Arden mall so it was quite a reach ) but totally worth is did my nails with calm and care and the chrome is actually chrome ! Found this place by driving while going to work. Just needed a mani to get by because my nails were looking bad. Tammy did an amazing job. My gel manicure looks great and has lasted longer than other salons I have been to. My job has me constantly washing my hands and my manis take a beating. My mom has been here twice. This was my first time. Tammy is amazing. She made sure they paid special attention when handling my mother during her pedicure because she has diabetes. I called to make an appointment. I bought the groupon. Not only would they not let my sister and I use our own groupons at the same time, they wouldn't allow her to go first and then me. AND they didn't have any times until Monday. I can't go on Monday, I work! I wanted time Friday night or Saturday. Weak! They cant work with me, they can work by themselves! read more
