Horrible Horrible customer service. Been ordering from Tammy's for over 18 years. My family has spent $1000s on their food. Today changed all that. Ordered multiple subs and cheesecake. One sub was wrong. We called and was told to bring all subs back, like they didn't believe. Not just offering a replacement sub is costing you a couple customer (myself and sister family). I tried to support a small business but this place just isn't it and the portions are tiny. The cheese for fries was almost $1 extra and was a white cheese that didn't go well with the fries. Also the boneless wings taste like nothing special and one of them wasn't even cooked all the way (tasted crunchy) so I'm scared to try the rest. I was charged twice for a pizza for the second time in six months. The order was made on line at the Hoover Rd. restaurant. The server claimed there was no record of my order upon my arrival She made no effort to check the credit card purchase . I ordered another pizza and paid for it ,again. Our credit card showed the purchase and we contacted the manager for a refund. The manager was apologetic and refunded the credit transaction. We received a free pizza for my wasted time the first time. The manager offered nothing for my inconvenience on this occasion. The pizzas are first rate but the customer service is abysmal . Same as the rest of these posts. Good food- horrible customer service. They must be hurting. I made an $80 order for my family plus $8 delivery fee and $8 tip for the driver. HALF my order was missing. I called in- they were willing to credit the missing items but nothing else. So I eat the delivery fee and tip and either pay it again or pick up the missing items. This was Christmas Eve, and as nice people, we didn't want to ask anyone to stay late to make more food. Apparently the owners reviewed this mistake and just threw up some middle fingers to me and my family. Sad. read more

Don't plan on eating inside this pizza place. First, there are only bottled sodas. They'll give you a plastic cup if you ask but there is no ice available! So if room temperature drink is your thing go for it. Next are mozzarella sticks. Supposedly an appetizer, but came out with the pizza. Not hot! Again, asking for marinara, we got plastic cups of refrigerated marinara...what? The whole experience is so disappointing! The young girl working the take-out counter was very rude. My father and I sat down for about an hour trying to enjoy our pizza and have normal conversation. Mind you, I had to talk louder than usual because my Father can't hear very well. During our conversation, the young girl looked at us and said to her co-workers " I wish they would leave". " I would love to be able to tell them to go". Could she be talking about us? Well, Seeing as there was only one other person in the restaurant, whom Wasn't talking, I would say "Yes". So Friday night we decided to order a pizza instead of cooking, so we called Tammy's pizza in grove city the one close to Hoover road and London grove port road. We ordered large pizza with bacon and mushrooms with light sauce. The owner was working the counter he greet me when i arrived and was very friendly, I don't remember his name. Since we did carry out we can't speak to the atmosphere, but there are about 10 small tables and a video game. The pizza was very good with decent about of toppings, but the temperature of the pizza could have been hotter, it was warm but not hot. read more

Tried Tammy's Pizza tonight after seeing some juicy posts from others in a Facebook pizza group lately, and I was really impressed! To really taste fresh pizza dough was a pleasant surprise. I also thought I detected sprinkles of Romano cheese on top of the pizza, which also helped bring out the flavor of the fresh crust. The toppings were plump, juicy, and spicy. I got pep and extra cheese, and pep and sausage. The pepperoni is a bit on the spicy side, so heads up if you have a sensitive palate. Lastly, we tried the garlic bread and cheese and that was also a good appetizer, you can taste the buttery, baked bread underneath the cheese which was another testament to their freshness of ingredients. Haven't had any recently, but I've certainly had it plenty. Good Columbus style pizza. Sauce is just a touch sweet (not my thing), but nothing the savory pepperoni won't counter. Cracker crust all the way through to the center. Just the right about of cheese. I've stuffed myself into a food coma more than a few times to their pepperoni pie. This place isn't anything fancy, but it does make a good pizza. Not only good for Grove City, but good for Columbus. read more

Revisit since I haven't been here in awhile, I'm alone on New Years and wanted some pizza. I think this is one of those locations that does not receive enough attention. They are always clean and take care of me when I visit. The pizza reminds me of high school but Tammy's is a thin crust, a large pepperoni I bought for lunch after percussion practice three times a week but the owner closed it and pursued another business so this pizza brings back memories, also made me realize how everything is more expensive as you grow old. But this place is very nice, clean, takes a little longer to bake but worth it. My only complaint is buying extra sauce on the side, the sauce is watered down. Not flavorful. read more

On our way out of town we stopped by for a late lunch. Walking in the smell of sour milk hit me like a ton of bricks. We walked up to the counter and ordered an Italian Sub to share and a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions. They stated it would be a 15 min wait and received our food after 25 mins. The sub had more ham than any other toppings but was pretty good. The pizza had the small pepperonis and was covered with cheese but did not look like it was baked long enough minus the pepperonis. I could smell that sour milk scent while eating the pizza. Must be how they store their cheese. I wasn't fond of it at all. My boyfriend thought it was alright but not enough to want to come back. Terrible service since changing hands. Called and ordered pizza and subs at 4:00pm to be picked up at 5. I was told "no problem". Showed up at 5:10 and was told 8 more minutes. I thought no big deal its Friday I'll wait. At 5:25 I go to the counter to inquire again. After a few minutes of back and forth with the kitchen the lady at the counter advised me they were just now going in the oven. Unapologetically the lady said I could wait or get a refund. At that point I decided I was not going to pay $65 to be treated that poorly and requested a refund. She had to request the manager who then struggled with the register to get my refund. He offered no apologies when I related my story to him. So, sadly I will not return to Tammy's. read more

We ordered a small pepperoni pizza, a medium works pizza and garlic bread. The small pepperoni pizza was a lot better than the works pizza. The pepperoni pizza was cooked well and crisp. The cheese to pepperoni ratio was perfect. On the works pizza, it was undercooked and had way too much cheese on it that I had to scrape some off. It was honestly like i was eating two pizzas from two different restaurants. The garlic bread was only ok. Would have also preferred it to be cooked a little longer. read more

For Easter, 2018, we visited family in Columbus, OH. My wife's sister's family moved to Grove City a couple months ago and this was a good chance to see their new place and to have fun with family. After a great Easter brunch at their house, we did need dinner later that evening. Her husband shared that they have liked Tammy's pizza for a number of years, 1) because it's really good and 2) because it's also local. So he ordered 1) meat lover's, 2) veggie, and 3) sausage. There was incredibly little left in the end... but none of us wanted to stuff ourselves when leftovers make for a good lunch tomorrow. This is a great restaurant. If you get the chance, we recommend you enjoy some of their pizza, dine-in or carry-out. read more

Tammy's has gone through a change of ownership, and I am happy to report, that after an initial period of disappointment, the pizzas are back to the normal Tammy's pizza we've come to know and love. This makes me very happy because I now live across the street and it is the most convenient pizza place for those nights when we don't want to cook! DEREK: Tammy's Pizza is holding on to some of the elements that I would incorporate into my own pizza shop. Although I won't be having my grand opening soon, I will say that they have the beginnings of something great. DEREK: I have certain combinations of pizza that I order and stick to them closely. I had the extra cheese, pep, and Italian sausage combo that all pizza shops should hit out of the park --- and Tammy's delivers (well actually they don't deliver the pizzas though - pick up only). Crispy throughout the bottom, but not burnt. Garlic Cheese Bread - comes with marinara sauce. One of my favs. Chicken Wings (boneless) - awesome! The breading was perfect and they don't over-sauce it. Chicken Wings (original) - greeeat flavor, but they were kind of fatty. :/ Chicken Fajita Sub - this was my least favorite. Where did Tammy's go? A better question, why would you buy and own a pizza place if you clearly don't care about quality or your brand reputation? We have ordered from Tammy's Pizza weekly for many years, often twice a week and always for family and sports gatherings. A clear favorite for us, until this last year. With the original owner you could count on great pizza, consistent and quality every time. We looked forward to our Tammy's night routine. After the new owners, we do not get the same pizza week to week and as the weeks go by, it continues downward. Sometimes thin, sometimes thick. Some so full of bubbles in the dough you actually get only half with toppings. Often when picking up a pizza, you may stand unnoticed for a while watching the teenagers finish singing and goofing off without a care in the world. They will stop and serve you if you slap the counter really loudly which is followed by scowls and teenage attitude that frankly I don't like or deserve. This is who makes our pizza now? Children with no training, ethics and no drive to do the right thing.... Truly sad to see the greatest fall and fall hard. No-one cares from the top down. Mark had a successful business that did it right every time, all the time. Sorry to say Mark, there is nothing left, your once award winning top of the city brand has died. You gave these new owners a well oiled lean mean pizza machine and they drove it right into a wall. We will settle for Flyer's now, we don't want to but we will. And the question still goes unanswered, why buy it if you don't care to do it right? They probably won't be around long enough to get an answer. New owners, ask yourself, are sales up or down? We ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza. We were charged for and received an extra large pepperoni and mushroom. They changed out the pizza to our extra large pepperoni, but they did not give us back the difference owed to us. I wanted water the drink but they only have to purified bottled water (not spring) that you have to pay for and I don't drink. The taste of the pizza is adverage. On a positive note the dining room was clean, the staff were ok and they are very generous with the toppings. But we probably won't hurry back. read more

One of the tastiest examples of Midwest Pizza I've ever had. Midwest Pizza? Let me educate you! Thin(ish) crispy crust, edge-to-edge toppings, small pepperoni that curls up and forms pools of grease and a "stinky" Parmesan based cheese are all signs you are eating Midwest style pizza. That, and the "party cut" rectangular slices. Tammy's is a tastier, cheaper and more local version of Donatos. Tammy's does a great job at topping quality, quantity and disbursement. The pepperonis avalanche over each slice, the veggies are finely diced and spread evenly and the Italian Sausage is some of the best I've ever had as a pizza topping. An X-Large 1 topping runs about $15 and will feed 4 hungry people with ease. It'll start to run a little pricey, but I recommend adding on another medium or large so you can guarantee cold pizza leftovers. And you'll want 'em! We take our pizza to go, to eat in the comfort of the living room, but the dining room at Tammy's is equipped to entertain with a few arcade machines. Tammy's Pizza was the first dinner we had when we moved to Grove City three years ago. We loved it so much we order something from them at least once a week. The pizza crust and sauce tastes homemade ( it probably is too) and not sweet like some sauces are ( I'm a diabetic so that's important to me). We order different toppings but our go to is half pepperoni and cheese. We also really enjoy their subs, salads, wings and dinners. We have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered. The staff is always friendly. Although we always call ahead for takeout, there is seating available and it always looks clean.
