My biggest tip: hire an adult manager for all the teens. These kids made making pizza look hard. We ordered 3 pizzas and were told 25 minutes. When we got there, we were told another 15. Then another 5... it ended up being like another 30 from when we got there. They were slow. BUT they were working, not standing around. I truly don't know what took so long. The pizza was affordable, fresh, and good. But they just were dragggging with getting the pizza ready. I was told my pizza being cut and it took 10 minutes. The place is cute. Thought I'd finally give this place another try, what a mistake that was. So, I ordered a large works with no mushroom. He told me to check back between the times he gave me, so I did. I went back in and he said give us another 5-8 minutes. I went in 9 minutes later and they said 4-5 more minutes. I waited 30 minutes for a pizza and they were not busy at all. What made this worse was it was soft and gooey. They didn't cook it all the way. I think they were just trying to get rid of me because I kept coming back in over and over. I added a photo and you can clearly see the pizza is not cooked all the way. I had to put it in the oven when I got home and it was still nasty because they loaded this pizza up with so much cheese that it's ridiculous. This is the only pizza in Columbus that my husband will eat (outside of Pizza Hut). It came highly recommended. My friend ordered it one night for a "pizza, wine and movie" evening. My mechanic also recommended it. It is a particularly flat pizza. I love that. It's not fluffy pizza-chain-like crust and it more resembles a flatter, east coast kind of pizza. It doesn't have the crusty bottom that I enjoy though. It's a visually pleasing pizza. These sauce and cheese is ample and the cheese is stretchy. Cold pizza is my guilty pleasure and it's even pretty OK cold. Here is my issue. The taste of the sauce. I honestly don't know to put it and I feel bad for how I am but... it has an aftertaste like vomit, to me. My husband doesn't taste it. Obviously no one else does but me. I've had it several times and I always get that after taste. When I eat it, i use garlic powder, red pepper flakes and parm. It helps. Tammy's is one of my favorites. Definitely my favorite in GC. We get the pep and cheese and are never disappointed. We have also enjoyed the cheese ravioli. Ownership has changed hands, I hope that doesn't change things. One thing I noticed is now they seem to prefer online orders. I usually just call in my order but I tried the new online system and accidentally ordered a cheese pizza rather than what we wanted and always get--pepperoni and cheese. When I arrived and realized I had ordered it wrong (it was my fault), but the people behind the counter offered no resolve. Just disappointing. Good pizza. Best in GC... Long way to the top. Ohio has a thing of not slicing pie slices. Apparently they have a lot of friends with their slicing of 2"x2" squares. This "pie" was good in consistency in that every slice embraced was a full can full of every topping. The crust was decent and not doughy like fake Sicilian. In the past Tammy's was my choice for Pizza. But after this evening I think I am finished with Tammy's. We always order the Tammy's Porker. In the past there were plenty of toppings. But tonight not much in the way of toppings. The sauce was sparse. And the crust was no where near done. I don't know if you made any ingredient changes, but there was little to no taste to my pizza. Overall Tammy's is a good place for pizza in Grove City. On my search for a yummy local pizza shop, Tammy's is #1 on the list so far. Their pizza is really cheesy, yum! Traveling for business and wound up in Grove City, OH. I like pizza, I eat it more than my wife would wish. This Tammy's pizza was quite possibly the worst pizza I've had in years. I think they spilled a bunch of sugar in the sauce, it was cotton candy sweet. They use Doordash to deliver and the pizza was barely luke-warm by the time it was got to me and the crust was not crispy, it was rubbery. I'm not surprised that they leave it by the door and run away. Call it Covid precautions if you want, but if you are handed a cold pizza, you complain, so it's my opinion that dude knew that and bailed. I ate a couple of pieces and I am literally throwing the rest away, and it was NOT inexpensive. Save your money. read more

Well now, I do like me some Central Ohio style pizza and Tammys is one place in the area that makes a conventional pie, nothing fancy, just the standard that we all know. Sitting down to lunch with Mark K., we both felt it was a decent pizza. My particular thoughts were that it's not a bad pizza but it could have been better. Let me explain. It's not the most flavorful pizza I've ever had. While the crust was really good, the sauce needed a little something and they don't brown the toppings enough. I think an extra few minutes under the broiler would have easily taken this from a 3 to a 4 as it really needed that to bring out that slightly charred, baked just right goodness that makes a better pie. They do cut it into squares, as it should be. Other than that, there's plenty of parking all around, the tiny dining room is clean and the service...well, I'll just say, "try smiling pumpkin" , it goes a long way with me. A solid little local pizza joint. And I do mean little. There are a few tables, and it was empty when Mike G. and I went, but during lunch or dinner it would be crazy. It has your basic pizza and subs, at reasonable prices. I went with a small sausage/tomato/banana pepper combo. The crust was great- crispy and chewy, and just the right carrier for everything else. The sauce was okay. The cheese was, well, there was plenty and the consistency was good. There just wasn't much flavor. The toppings were pretty darn good. All in all, a good lunch, with plenty left over for later. Service was okay, maybe a little lackadaisical. The restroom has one of the highest-mounted urinals I've seen; I almost had an issue... Upon writing this review I also wrote it for Tammys Pizza till I noticed that I went to the one on Broadway. Did I go to the wrong place, seeing the reviews for Hoover were way better than here? Same owner, so it can't be that much better, and I thought Broadway way nicer, it smelt good and was packed! All the outdoor seating was taken and their phone was ringing off the hook, people going in and out with loads of pizza boxes we figured it must be good. First of all it is expensive. $16 for a large 1 topping pizza, YIKES! So we opted for just that, 1 topping and got one with bacon and one with ham (maybe that was the first mistakt not getting the standard pep) and an order of garlic bread. Yes, the pizzas were huge and had a ton of toppings and the cornmeal I love on the bottom, but the sauce was nonexistant, the cheese provolone (seems mozz was too expensive...)and the ham my husband swore was budding, yuck. The bacon one was better (because bacon is always good) but still no sauce, crust thin and bland. In my husbands words, its pretty bad when the garlic bread is better than the pizza... Must be packed because its a local small chain, maybe all of Grove City knows and loves "Tammy" but we won't be back. read more

Service: My rating is primary based on the bad customer service provided. Their food is okay (see details below). And it was my son who reminded me we had a similar issue previously with them. My wife ordered and paid for the food online for Broadway location. The food was to be ready in 35 mins. I arrived just at the time Tammy's Pizza said it would be ready. I went inside and checked in with the man at the counter. He pulled my order #58 and set it on the counter. He checked his register screen multiple times while pulling my order. He goes over all the food with me. I leave and go back home to find out they forgot to give me a chicken sub. I called and spoke with a woman. I informed her they forgot to give me a sub. She said they have it ready for me if I want to come back to pick it up. I asked due to their error if they would give me a discount or remove the sub ($10) since I have to come back. She said she would have to talk with her manager. I told her I was on my way back. I return to the store and I informed the woman at the store I was the one missing the sub. She got my sub and told me, the manager said the next time you order, we will give you some type of discount. This is a problem, because they did not validate all my order. I asked if the manager was available. She said Heidi and Tyler are the managers, and they were not there. I asked if there is an office number to reach them, and she said just to call the regular phone line. The woman did not take any of my information for the managers to reach out to me. The managers did not call to talk to me about my order. To me this is poor customer service. Apparently they do not give the authority to their team at the location to fix situations for poor customer service. And I suspect Heidi and Tyler hopes people will forget about getting a discount since they don't even say what type of discount they will give. You should fix the situation then, not later. Horrible customer service. Food: Pizza is okay. Cost is about the same with the pizza eateries nearby. 16" pizza, two subs, pasta, cheese fries, and breadsticks = @ $60 (with $5 coupon). FOR BROADWAY AND HOOVER TOGETHER. We always order from the Broadway location, but this time there was a snaffu with the website and it defaulted back to Hoover road. Watch out when you order online because it starts you, at least on my phone, at Hoover road and you have to choose Broadway. I'm not sure why because Broadway is the original and alphabetically it comes 1st. I had to go in and change pizza toppings and add a sub, so I was in-and-out of my cart. Somehow it got switched back to Hoover, because I chose Broadway, and I'm not sure what happened but I will not make that mistake again. Tammy's on Broadway is excellent and we've never had an issue. It is one of our absolute favorites. I've heard bad things about the Hoover location for years, but we've never ordered there. The crust was underdone, it left a strong yeasty aftertaste, and the whole flavor was bitter. The cheese, I'm not sure if they use the same as the other location, but it was plastic-like and was very sub-par to the Broadway location.This is why I'm leaving it 3 stars. I'd give the Broadway location 5 stars and I give the Hoover road location one star. read more

We got an ad saver book today and in it was Tammy's saying that they won the best pizza award and we thought we should give it a try. I am the adventurous pizza eater and will do white pizzas and such happily. He is the very traditional pizza eater who is most happy with a plain old pepperoni pizza. So his feedback I will cover first. His major feedback as he ate it was it is way too salty. He wasn't sure if it was the sauce or the pepperoni or the apparent seasoning on top, but he very strongly felt it was way too salty. He finally determined it was probably from the pepperoni. He felt that the sauce was spotty with some bites having little to no sauce flavor at all. He did think the crust was good and it was cheesy. Biggest no no for him was too much salt and too greasy as you can see in the picture. For me I liked the sweet sauce, but it is spotty some bites were great and others scarce which to me means they are not spreading the sauce well and perhaps that is because they have a younger person back there just slopping it on. I agree that it was way greasy and maybe a bit more salty then your average pepperoni pizza, but I am a fan of the pepperoni on top baking method giving that nice little crispiness to the pepperoni. The cheese was stinky (stinky cheese is usually a good sign : ) and they piled it on high. I liked the crust well enough. They were quicker then the 20 minutes they quoted which is why I feel our pizza was not hot enough (we live less then 5 minutes from this location.) With so many choices for pizza close by I imagine that the two of us just won't visit this place much if at all. read more

My italian sub was barely cooked, the lettuce was wilted and disgusting and it looked like they had literally poured italian salad dressing on a warm store bought hoagie bun. 3. Don't understand the aggregate score for this place. I realize that each person has their pizza style preferences, but Tammy's seems to do pizza right. The cheese was respectably thick and complex in flavor, topped off with parmesan (I think) for extra texture. The sausage and pepperoni, for whatever reason, exceeded my expectations. This is probably due to the pizza being seasoned perfectly (a lot of pizzas can be a tad bland). Downtown Grove City has three prominent local pizzerias, and Tammy's presents a strong case to be considered the best. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I totally love the crust and, the sweet sauce. For whatever reason, central Ohio is good pizza heaven. I've never lived in an area that comes close to the quality of pizza Ohio has, not even the very Italian Providence, Rhode Island. Reading some of the negative reviews here, I can only think that they may need better management of their young staff for consistency. But, I've never had a single problem with an order or, customer service. The location on Broadway is utterly charming. It is a little brick building in downtown Grove City that originally was a pizza shop owned by a couple from Italy, Witty and, Nadines. People who grew up in Grove City will remember this place fondly. I'm glad to see it has remained a hometown, pizza shop with great food. My husband loves their meatball sub. I get a cheese pizza, light on the cheese and, extra sauce and, eat it with a fork. The crust is soft inside and, crispy outside. If you take home left overs, they are best heated in the oven. Whenever I am visiting my hometown, this is a must visit place. I would like to see them put dessert on their menu. Maybe cheesecake? Then again, you can always walk across the street to Capitol City Bakery. This is just a great pizza shop in a great location. read more
