No exaggeration- we spent 20 minutes at the counter and 3 staff members could not figure out how to check us into services. They then told us they didn't know how to apply a guestpass and asked me to pay full for services. I no longer desired to get services done at this point due to the experience and wait, thanked them, and went to leave. As i did, one of them said she "forgot" about a free spa pass in which i could use. They offered this after my friend (the elite member) already keft very upset to his vehicle. We did not get any services done. The customer service was not only unfriendly, they had no idea how to work the system. This was a terribke experience and I will not be back.

I had to submit another request for my minor child because they never closed her account which legally should be linked tio the adult account as she is a minor and cannot consent to treatments here. Also she confimred they record calls and have it documented but still refused to refund my money. I had to file dispute wit hmy bank and repor them to better business bureau. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Instead of listening to customers, they often come across as though they know better and are unwilling to respect differing perspectives or long-term experience. No customer should walk into a business expecting a peaceful experience and leave feeling anxious or frustrated because of the way they were treated. Management sets the tone for any business, and I believe there is significant room for improvement in hiring, training, and accountability. Unfortunately, these repeated interactions have convinced me that this location is no longer worth my time or money. This will be my last experience with California Sun, and I cannot recommend it based on the level of customer service I have received. Mike the owner really needs a class on how to hire people who are actually good people at least... I have never been so disappointed . This business is a scam and crazy expensive for how you are treated so poorly. I absolutely love my tan! This was my first spray tan and I was super scared. I didn't want to look orange or streaky. Janet convinced me before hand that I would be neither of those thing. The other concern was that it was at her home but judging from past reviews she was going to be very professional. Now that I have been there, I am so thankful that it was in her home! It felt more personal. Janet was amazing! Very professional and made me feel great while I was there! I was so excited to show off my tan that night, so I went to go see some of my friends. They didn't even know it was a spray tan! All my friends just thought I sat out in the sun and got a really, really good tan! One of my friends went with me because I was nervous, but once we left she was super jealous that she didn't get one! If (and when) I get another spray tan, I am ONlY using Janet! read more

A couple of weeks ago I went on a trip to the Bahamas. It was the middle of winter and I was very white. I didn't want to take my shirt off and look like a highlighter on the beach so I asked a friend what they thought I should do. One of my close friends recommended Janet and said she did amazing work with airbrush tanning. From the moment I first spoke with Janet on the phone to the moment I left my appointment I was blown away by her professionalism and how comfortable she made me feel. Because of the awesome experience I had and how good I looked when it was over, I will definitely be going back. She gave me clear instructions on how to prepare and she gave me great advice on how to take care of it so it stays looking amazing for a long time. I had never had a spray tan before but Janet came to the house to tan my sister and after I saw the results, I decided I had to do it too! I admit I was a little embarrassed to take off my clothes but Janet was very professional and made me feel at ease. The whole process took about 20 minutes and I loved it. Since I was very nervous she tanned me very lightly so I could make sure I was going to like it and after I saw how good it looked I decided to go a bit darker and was glad I did. It looked very natural just like I had spent a few hours at the beach. I have been using Janet for my tans for over a year now. Whenever I have an event, she makes time to fit me in even if it's last minute. I get more compliments from strangers when I have one of Janet's tans. Having a spray tan just makes me feel so much better about myself. Another great aspect is, the color of the solution is stunning, very natural looking but people always notice my tan. Janet also has techniques to make my problem areas look so much better. I am a very modest person, so spray tanning was scary for me. Luckily, Janet actually came to my house to give me my tan! I wanted to look tan for my Hawaiian vacation and now I'm a regular customer. Hands down THE best tan I've ever gotten. Love the contouring. I was a bit nervous to go to someone's house, but I always see her great reviews and when I got there, I was so impressed. Tanners have their own bathroom, right next to the very professional tanning room. It turned out to be more comfortable than a typical tanning facility. Nothing like a perfect tan to cure the winter blues. It was raining when I got my tan so she let me park in her garage so I didn't get and water drops on my new tan! Hot coffee too! Tan it with Janet was an incrediable experience. I have always used tanning beds, but have worried about the damage it does to my skin. Seriously the best experience of air brush tanning I have ever had. First of all Janet is extremely professional and is great at returning your call or text. I recently went to Tan It With Janet to prepare for my audition for the 49ers Gold Rush. She did a custom tan, highlighting and shading certain muscles so I will look even more toned for the audition! It was the best tanning experience I've ever had!
