    An advertisement for a promotion with no exclusions. But according to the staff, you have to have a membership to take advantage of it.

    Absolutely HORRIBLE! They are scam artists. Fee To join, fee monthly for processing, and monthly fees. They have a promotion going on right now 1 week trial with ZERO exclusions on the advertisement(picture included for proof) but made me pay $40 for 1 session. Hailee(I think the supervisor) spent 12 minutes explaining the fees, packages, and cancellation(which btw you have to do by or on the 20th of the month & once you cancel your membership is effective immediately). I am reporting them to the BBB for false advertising. I would go visit somewhere sunny in the end it's probably cheaper.

    So I came to this location a few weeks ago because I was running errands in the area and I have the ambassador membership and I could go to any California Sun in the area which is very nice and I have taken advantage of that going to several different locations everybody is really great and awesome well I not on this day at this location and the manager on duty recognize me and wasn't as friendly work me whatever maybe a bad day I don't know and so I was asking about intensifier because I had left mine at home and I wanted to do some tanning after my red light and the manager I don't know what she thought was funny mentioned well you return the last one that I sold to you so if you buy this one you're probably just gonna going to end up returning it and I looked at her dead in the eyes and I told her I'm pretty sure if you had an allergic reaction to a lotion you wouldn't use it and she just laughed like it was funny really thought it was unprofessional for a manager to find something like that funny how is that funny when I had an allergic reaction to a product and that is the reason I returned it pretty sure if she had allergic reaction to any kind of product that they carry she wouldn't be laughing either and wouldn't give the person that sold to her a hard time she should look at it through my eyes the product she sold me I thought it wasn't OK with it unfortunately I had allergic reaction to it and returned it to another California sun which you're allowed to do as long as you have a receipt within 10 days so I was informed about this by another California sun member this made me very uncomfortable that the manager was like mocking me and laughing about the situation it's like that's very unprofessional to laugh at a paying customer about something and then assume that I'm going to return it because I had returned a product that she had recommended unfortunately my skin did not like it so that is a reason for the return it was not a personal jab at the employee but the laughing and being sarcastic was very uncomfortable and I really think this employee should be addressed about how to be more professional with customers because of that experience it may not wanna come back to this location so I really hope whoever is in charge higher up will address the manager on duty who was not there this last time when I went because I came back and I told the other associate who was second in charge what it happened and she felt very bad about it but still I would like to see some kind of good outcome come out of this like talking to the employee about how to be professional and not mock a customer because that's exactly how I felt not sure if I will come back to this location if that employee is going to be there again this is because of how the employee made me feel so I really hope this is addressed and this employee could learn how to be more professional given the fact that she is management and not be unprofessional and make the customer feel uncomfortable like the way she made me feel

I have been to many locations for California Sun, and have come to find my favorite locations. I used to have issues with clean beds at a few ca sun salons, or unpleasant visits, and the corporate headquarters here have gone above and beyond helping satisfy me. I GREATLY appreciate everything they have done and keep doing for me. I have had the pleasure of talking with Sydney, and she helped me put my account on hold when I needed. She let me know that I had to do it by the 20th of the month before I wanted to put it on hold(this particular time, when I put it on hold, it was the 28th). We signed a paper, made it official through email. I have also spoken to Kasey, who has helped me through my stubborn times. She has been patient with me...but always aimed to please. My favorite salons, just so you all know, are the 2 Roseville locations- 1070 Pleasant Grove Blvd because of JANTZEE and MALON. I come back because of these 2 girls. They have kept me company when I waited my turn. They are fast on setting up the beds, the beds and floors are always clean, and they sell me on products they know I would. and 5080 Foothills Blvd because of Taylor... I have seen her training skills when it came to newbies and she also has sold me on products that she knew I would love. As well as 820 Sterling Prkwy in Lincoln...the manager that has been there for years is talkative and easy to connect with. Thank you so much for wonderful service and aiming to please at your salons. You've got wonderful employees that strive to make California Sun a great place. IT DEFINITELY WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT JANTZEE, MALON, AND TAYLOR. (I'd probably still be bitching, lol)

I got in my car today after tanning and cried my eyes out . The customer service has been extremely disappointing. Several staff members have been rude, dismissive, and overly focused on selling products and upgrades rather than providing a positive customer experience. Instead of listening to customers, they often come across as though they know better and are unwilling to respect differing perspectives or long-term experience. On multiple occasions, I have left feeling upset rather than relaxed. No customer should walk into a business expecting a peaceful experience and leave feeling anxious or frustrated because of the way they were treated. Management sets the tone for any business, and I believe there is significant room for improvement in hiring, training, and accountability. Unfortunately, these repeated interactions have convinced me that this location is no longer worth my time or money. This will be my last experience with California Sun, and I cannot recommend it based on the level of customer service I have received. Mike the owner really needs a class on how to hire people who are actually good people at least... I have never been so disappointed . This business is a scam and crazy expensive for how you are treated so poorly. After this last go around I will start going to the gym to tan from now on . 3 of my friends are also going to cancel with CS.

    The absolute worst ownership I've ever experienced in a company!!!!! My 2nd session in I was burned…read morebadly and offered apologies and "upgrades" i wasn't even upset with the young lady that over exposed me, I saw it as a learning lesson. when I later went into the spa to "freeze" my membership I was there for 45min while the freeze was being processed only to keep being charged the full monthly membership price, for 3 months. When I went back into the spa the girl who helped me remembered that we went through this process and escalated to the manager. I was then referred to the corporate office where I was told they would not refund me the months they overcharged me because they couldn't "verify" I had in fact asked for my account to be frozen. So in addition to being burned and spending so much time on this, I'm now a liar?!?! Even when I told you that your staff remembered helping me freeze my account, and because your staff didn't document correctly in your computer system you refuse to refund me? I could care less a about the $100 at this point, it's the principal. I would prefer to move on but the unprofessionalism of the owner and the fact that they are so desperate to hold onto my money tells a story.... I do not want the countless upgrades or a credit. I want you to run an ethical business, one that takes accountability when an error is made and trusts what your customers say. And this owner relies on sweet young ladies to relay their garbage remedies. When I asked to speak with the owner I was told it wasn't possible. Come on, at least have the nerve to speak with a disgruntled client, one that was badly burned in your salon and charged in error for services she asked be frozen. The young ladies that work in the salon are nothing but kind and friendly, and the manager Ellie is great as well but the owner of this organization needs some lessons in business management and customer service.

I've been a loyal client of Rejuven8 Wellness Spa since June, spending over $1,300 on regular massages and always showing up early, respectful, and appreciative. Unfortunately, my experience on 10/28/25 was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and even brought a belated birthday gift for the owner, Kaera Anazalone. I explained that I had recently recovered from an illness, was cleared by my doctor, and had tested negative for COVID and flu more than a week earlier. Despite being transparent and cleared as non-contagious, I was treated with visible discomfort and suspicion. Kaera informed me that the session couldn't continue unless I agreed to conditions that made me feel uncomfortable in what is supposed to be a relaxing, safe environment. She even stated that she would "just get it over with because [she] needed the money," which was incredibly unprofessional. When I said I was no longer comfortable proceeding, I was denied a refund or credit for my prepaid $139 session, even though no service was provided. I tried to resolve the matter calmly and respectfully, but was met with rudeness, manipulation, and eventually told I was no longer welcome as a client. For a wellness business, this was shocking behavior. I have since filed disputes with my credit card company, the BBB, and the California Massage Therapy Council. I'm sharing this review to make others aware of how this spa treats loyal clients and how poorly it handles customer care and ethics. Additionally, for a business that claims to be a "wellness spa," having a dog in treatment rooms shedding hair is extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. This is not the safe, ethical, or relaxing environment it pretends to be.

My tan turned out beautiful And lasted me a long time, even on vacation when we were in a lot of pools, which I know can make a tan go quicker. But mine looked beautiful the entire trip. I won't ever go on a vacation again without getting a spray tan ahead of time.
