The tech took me through multiple tests in three different rooms. The physician I saw was Shelley Jelineo, MD, a Board Certified opthalmologist. She clearly explained was was going on, told me what to expect going forward, laid out a preliminary treatment plan, and set up a follow up appointment. I was impressed and happy with how I was treated and the concern the staff showed for my needs. I am moving to this clinic from another and plan to stay with Dr. Jelineo for my future care.

NW Eye Care Professionals had highly trained doctors and excellent reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. Well, I'm hooked! Not only do I love everyone, but on my first appointment with Dr. Scotty, he asked if I've ever thought about vision/light therapy for my eye! My other doctor made it sound like there was nothing I could do (I assume because she would not directly make money on it; she was very money oriented), while my new doctor says, "Hey, this might help you heal!" So, I'm going to try it! I'm so excited; I really wondered if I would be stuck with the problem forever, but like with the mold, it takes time to find the right doctor with the right knowledge. The customer service is now shockingly poor. Just getting the initial appointment seemed ridiculous while the person scheduling me seemed to be rolling her eyes when I had the nerve to be questioning what their latest and earliest appointments are. They are close to my house but I work close to Hillsboro which can be tricky to get to or from sometimes. Saturday appointments are not available and even regular appointments are booked out for weeks - perhaps they are so busy that they just don't care? I genuinely do not drive around during the day. I also was not aware they have half of Beaverton under construction so I was running late by about 10 minutes. The entire lobby was full of people and the person at the front had a conversation with the eye person who I think my appointment was with.... the eye person glared weirdly at me. Was it my cane? I was super confused and trying to get to the counter around all the people storming their counter. The person at the counter had wandered away, then over five minutes later they come back finally to say I was now over 15 minutes past my appointment so he would have to reschedule me? I get it if I actually was THAT late and seriously, making the appointment the first time with a person talking down to me was already challenging weeks before but this just seemed like they overbooked and were finding an excuse to just get rid of me. Third: Oakley glasses had a issue with the ear sleeves wearing out. I called and asked if I can buy parts needed. A guy answered and said sir your parts are all under warranty.
