A problem with my frames that my old eye doctor would not back me up on irritated me, so I decided it was past time to try someone else. NW Eye Care Professionals had highly trained doctors and excellent reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. Well, I'm hooked! Not only do I love everyone, but on my first appointment with Dr. Scotty, he asked if I've ever thought about vision/light therapy for my eye! My other doctor made it sound like there was nothing I could do (I assume because she would not directly make money on it; she was very money oriented), while my new doctor says, "Hey, this might help you heal!" So, I'm going to try it! I'm so excited; I really wondered if I would be stuck with the problem forever, but like with the mold, it takes time to find the right doctor with the right knowledge. Dr. Bruce, the founder of this clinic, is a pioneer in vision therapy, and I feel grateful and relieved I've landed in the right place! However, ever since Dr. Lin left, the clinical care has significantly declined. During a previous visit, I was told I had early cataracts causing my vision issues. On my most recent visit, I was suddenly told I didn't have cataracts, but was offered no explanation for my continued blurred vision. To top it off, my last pair of glasses had terrible image distortion that never corrected after three months, and I felt like I was inconveniencing the doctor just by asking questions. The customer service is now shockingly poor. Just getting the initial appointment seemed ridiculous while the person scheduling me seemed to be rolling her eyes when I had the nerve to be questioning what their latest and earliest appointments are. They are close to my house but I work close to Hillsboro which can be tricky to get to or from sometimes. Saturday appointments are not available and even regular appointments are booked out for weeks - perhaps they are so busy that they just don't care? I genuinely do not drive around during the day. I also was not aware they have half of Beaverton under construction so I was running late by about 10 minutes. The entire lobby was full of people and the person at the front had a conversation with the eye person who I think my appointment was with.... the eye person glared weirdly at me. Was it my cane? I was super confused and trying to get to the counter around all the people storming their counter. The person at the counter had wandered away, then over five minutes later they come back finally to say I was now over 15 minutes past my appointment so he would have to reschedule me? I get it if I actually was THAT late and seriously, making the appointment the first time with a person talking down to me was already challenging weeks before but this just seemed like they overbooked and were finding an excuse to just get rid of me. I wrote a owner /manager ,she said we believe our doc not you....Two:bought brand new Oakley glasses and they brought out with a cheap Nike plastic glass holder. The first time I got a nice Oakley case. I emailed and said my second appointment went really well but cheap case can I get a Oakley case? Unfortunately no response. Third: Oakley glasses had a issue with the ear sleeves wearing out. I called and asked if I can buy parts needed. A guy answered and said sir your parts are all under warranty. If parts not available you get new frames!I was excited about the great service ...... never got another callback for parts three months later. So sad .
