Not only is he the owner, but also the cashier and chef. One man show! The food is made to order and not frozen, which is appreciated. The chicken wings I would rate 3.5/5, nothing too special, just usual wings. The beef kebabs were a 4/5. Again, nothing too special and imo were just a tad bit over cooked; it wasn't too juicy. However, the portion size is very good and the Tzatiki sauce is chef's kiss. The order took about 10-15 min to come out because again, it's made to order. The inside of the restaurant was strangley warm so we waited outside for our order. Overall, not too bad but I would like to see what else this restaurant has to offer! read more

This is the third time I've visited in the last couple of weeks--And my first time trying the food here was like 2 weeks ago. Haha. My family was in town and I mentioned to them about Tandoori. They were eager to try and they love the food here. The hospitality here is thumbs up for sure. I'm a fairly new customer and right off the bat I feel like I been a long time customer to them. We were craving Mediterranean the other night, and after seeing other Yelp reviews for Tandoori we decided to give them a shot. So happy we made that decision. We went with the chicken wrap, lamb tikka platter, spicy naan, hummus, and baklava. The stars of the show we're definitely the chicken wrap and spicy naan. I was super impressed with the size of the naan. It was larger than most frozen pizzas at the store! The chicken wrap was super fresh and covered in a nice tzatziki sauce with a blend of other goodness that truly delicious. The owner of the restaurant, and his crew were super friendly and helpful in selecting which dishes to order. While we were there, there was a constant stream customers picking up takeout orders, which is definitely a good sign. They have a few tables inside to eat at but I think this is definitely more of a takeout place. This was a great meal and we will definitely be back! read more

I've been here a dozen times over the last several years, and the quality of the food has gone down in my opinion. For the beef gyro plate I ordered, the meet was overcooked and the rice tasted different than usual. The salad was really sad (see in picture). We were visiting my son who lives in the east coast and decided to visit Massachusetts. Craving authentic ethnic food (but not sure which one) googled and yelped. Saw this one as it seemed family/small business owned. Arrived and they had a staff of 3 in kitchen. Ordered by touch screen self-order menu kiosk. We were greeted by a warm welcome/hello from the kitchen by owner. It's a good sign when owner is present. Screen showed menu with photo/price. We ordered several. Wait was about 20-25 minutes because the food was made and heated nicely. Owner apologized for one order they ran out of but replaced it for something else. The owner was friendly and personable. But most of all the food was fantastic. The bread products like the za'atar was one of the best. Makes me think their pizza would be delicious too (we didn't order any pizza). I thought I would take a chance on this spot from reading the positive reviews. I live in Los Angeles and wanted to send some food for delivery to my friends who don't live too far away from the restaurant. Ahmad went above and beyond to make my delivery happen after a mishap due to me not paying attention to the different time zones while choosing a delivery time. He also made sure to let me know if they were out of an item that it could be replaced with someone else. My friends and their kids thoroughly enjoyed their food. I'm going make this review short and sweet. Tandoori is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Lincoln Street. The spicy chicken chop plate is WHERE IT'S AT! Tender pieces of chicken (seasoned beautifully) on a huge bed of white long rice accompanied by a side salad. I asked for creamy Italian for the salad and it was perfect on top. Their version of tzatziki was definitely homemade (with dill being very prominent) and DEFINITELY delicious. I want extra next time. I asked for pita bread on the side and the pieces were massive! $1 a piece and so worth it. They don't skimp on portions here. $12 for a plate that could easily be made into 2 meals is a deal. The food offerings from kebabs to pizza seem strange but follow the lead of the (Palestinian) staff and go with kebabs, falafel, and don't skip dessert (freshly made pastry with homemade cheese filling). I've got a friend in from India and he's Muslim, so I wanted to make sure he had a halal meal! I chose this spot simply because he lives nearby but doesn't venture out much. The place is small but clean. The area is a bit depressed, but this business remains popular and got at least another 10 people through the door during my visit. I chose the mixed grill which is 3 skewers of meat and a ton of rice. My friend chose the 2 meat option. The food is tasty and was cooked well. It had good middle-eastern style spices. The good? Food was prepared well and had great taste. The facilities were humble and clean. The folks who run the business were very hospitable and friendly. The bad? Expensive for the amount of food given. I think my meal was $22 and my friend's meal was $16 or $17. For that, I got small bites of meat x 3 skewers, but was cut very small in size and probably didn't have more than a few ounces of meat when for $22, I could go to a steak house and leave stuffed...(reference other local spots for meat portions and Pete's bluebird gives a massive amount of meat, as would even a Lonestar or outback in comparison). read more

We ordered a gyro pizza which came out greasy and hardly anything on it. We ordered a chicken kabob plate with rice and salad. The chicken was " formed" chicken that did not have a pleasurable taste. The rice was not tasty and I've had great middle eastern rice. I didn't even eat it.They give you a few pieces of iceberg lettuce which was garnished with a tomato and pepper slices.
