The food is consistently great here. The portions are very generous, even with the combo meals. The pork fried rice is chock full of veggies and pork chunks and always tastes fresh. My go-to dishes here are the Pepper Steak with Onions, General Tso's Chicken, and the Dragon / Phoenix which is half General Tso's Chicken and half jumbo (and I mean actual JUMBO) shrimp in sweet chili sauce. I have also had the Crispy Beijing Chicken as well, but as with anything crispy it is better if you eat it there rather than take it home. While I have had other dishes here, those are my main craves when I'm in the mood for an awesome Chinese dinner. Egg rolls are a bit smaller than the one's I grew up eating in Queens where they could almost pass for a fried burrito at some places, but very tasty nonetheless. Oh... and the wonton soup is decent. I always add a packet of the hot mustard sauce to it for a kick. They make a house-made iced sweet tea which is super sweet. Definitely NOT for diabetics. I've gotten it a few times and there is literally an inch of sugar at the bottom of the quart-sized soup container that it's served in. A bit too heavy and sweet to be refreshing, but something about it keeps me coming back for more. You will get to the bottom wishing you had ordered two. :-) Another thing I particularly like is that it's family run, which many of the walk-in Asian food places are. I guess I just admire the supermom who steers this ship. Every time I go and pick up food here, she is a multi-tasking force to be reckoned with... Taking orders, packing food, preparing sushi, ringing up, making sure the kids are doing homework or something else constructive.... And as busy as she is, she always has a warm smile on her face to greet you when you walk in. And here I am, I can't even make my own dinner after sitting at a computer all day. heh! :-) read more

What is most important? The taste of the food. We ordered shrimp with lobster sauce. The shrimp were jumbo and delicious! We were very impressed. We also had the standard chicken and broccoli with brown sauce. I ordered light sauce because I don't like my food dripping in sauce. Plenty of chicken and broccoli and it was very good. Rediculous Small portion, they should have been ashamed of... I ordered a BBQ spare rib dinner, which should have had four average size spareribs. There were 4, however, it looked as if they took one spare rib and cut it in two or three pieces. Even the eggroll was small. When I called to complain, no apology, they said it was not their fault, because that was the size of the ribs they received. Then they should have at least doubled the amount to equal a full serving. So I basically ate white rice for dinner tonight! never again! read more

Ordered take out here- 1. food portions are a bit weird. They come packed as meals (item + side of rice together) instead of containers of the item alone (general tso) with a side container. 2. Ordered chow mein which according to google is noodles which I thought I was going to receive (especially since they advertise above average CHINESE FOOD) but received a container of some soupy vegetables. When i went back, the last was nasty about it saying thats what i ordered and made me pay for a noodle chow mein. It was really annoying- they could do a better job of listing items for online orders if they know what they're serving is different from the norm, 3. I live close by and monday i tried this place for the first time. The name Tang asian Fusion is what grabbed me. Take out only, Covid Restrictions are in place. What stirred me wrong was they have sushi on display behind glass that looks aged ( also not appetizing) For what this place is...its basically chinese take out. nothing fancy or to brag about. food was decent. My children had a game at Tanner park and I decided to stop and get some food. When I entered, the female staff was on the phone and showed terrible customer service. I ordered lo Mein. As I waited I heard a lot of coughing from one of the male cooks in the back . When I looked in the back, he was grapping my noodle's from the container with his bare hands. We've been searching for good Chinese food since we moved to Holbrook a year ago. We took a chance and drove a half an hour to get to Tang's. I was a little nervous at first because it was small, and looked like one of those places where you just walk up to the counter and you experience mediocre food... I was wrong. Tang's was awesome. Yes it is small. It had about 6 tables, 30 seats, including seats at the sushi bar. The decor was classy and clean. The entire restaurant was very clean. The wait staff was very nice, our waitress was quick and attentive and the rest of the staff was also nice to us. My husband and I both had the homemade ice tea which was great. I had the peanut avocado roll as my appetizer. Even though it was vegetarian, you can tell they know sushi. It was very fresh tasting, the seaweed wasn't chewy and weird like it can sometimes be. My husband had the roast duck soup. He also enjoyed his. For dinner he got the Volcano Beef. He loved it. I had the Mango Tofu, and thankfully the waitress told me it was very spicy, because I can't have spicy she said she would make it mild. It was perfect. The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, just as it should be, and the sauce was light and perfect and not overwhelming. Our meal came out to be about 45 dollars. The shrimp dumplings were dry and the shrimp was so ground up and packed so hard in the dumpling that it didn't taste like shrimp...it was more like chopped meat or meatball texture. It is convenient, because it is five minutes from my house. I like that they have an online order form , so I do not have to call. I have to say, the food is mediocre. I did not like the fried rice at all and all the Chinese dishes I've tried have been meh. It's not too flavorful or exciting. The sushi is surprisingly better than expected for a fusion place. It does taste fresh and is okay when i order it to takeout. However, the prices are a little steeper and there is not a good selection to choose from. Had to take a Continuing Ed class and walked to this local spot which does a lot of takeout, and for good reason. The food is delicious. They do a great tuna tartare with mango. I have also enjoyed the pork noodle bowl with shrimp dumplings. Good flavor and satisfying. I like to try something different whenever I come here since it is only across the street from my office, but my go to meal is the fish with garlic sauce. I have ordered delivery from this place 2-3 times to my office and its been great each time. Twice I called in the order and once I used their online ordering page. The only *slight* issue I have with their online ordering is that you can't pay with a credit card but other than that its phenomenal. Once the restaurant called me to confirm that I didn't want rice with a lunch special even though I wrote "no rice" in the comments, I thought this was very thoughtful and I appreciated it. Great food. Unfortunately they're expensive and portions are small. Staff is also rude. The girl behind the counter will yell at you in front of customers if you have a complaint. The delivery guy, although we always take care of him on previous deliveries, complained that we only gave him 2$ (all the cash I had on me at the time. Felt bad but figured I would tip him better next time) Well he had no problem telling me how was "disappointed" with the tip. Again the girl was rude when we called to complain. Tang's is hands down my favorite Chinese food to order from in Amityville. I always use Grubhub to order and have never had a problem with any alterations and/or substitutions. Delivery is always on time or earlier. Food is delicious, especially the crab rangoons and spring rolls. Steamed dumplings and tofu lo mein are a favorite as well (tofu is perfectly fried every time). The edamame appetizer is so large I even end up with leftovers for the week! Tried to give them another chance, they messed up YET AGAIN!!!!! And this time, I was cursed at for calling back. They did not send what I ordered so I tried to call and say send me what I ordered. I got, "are you fuc*ing crazy?!" I also said rather than argue with me why don't you say what can I get for you? And have it sent! They lost money AND valued customers. Curse at me because you messed up?!?! WORST customer service I have EVER dealt with. We also asked for extra broth for our soups, which we PAID for and got half full containers. Save your money and go else where. At least I gave the driver $7 on $26 because it wasn't his fault. TERRIBLE!!!! In response to the owner: What you don't seem to understand is that I asked for THREE ORDERS not THREE PIECES and I explained that when I ordered it I made it clear that I wanted three ORDERS. I then called to have it fixed and rather than LISTEN to me she was more interested in yelling over me, calling me crazy, cursing at me, and hanging up on me!!! When all she had to do was say ok so what are you missing we will have to charge you but we will have a driver bring it right away. As far as the broth is concerned, it used to always be a full container and recently its HALF full. Maybe you are not there often and you do not see it but I am telling you as someone who orders it that it is half full. AND WE PAY FOR EXTRA BROTH it should NOT be HALF FULL. Regardless, we order from you at least once a week and now she cost you customers and money!! Just like last night all she had to do was correct it but she chose to cost the restaurant money!! I absolutely agree that she needs proper training and I thank you for your response however, I did not yell until she began yelling to which I tried to say "if you stop yelling and listen" and she said "are you fu*king crazy?!"
