We opted for this Tanger instead of Westbrook because it was much warmer walking around inside than outside on a cold day. The afternoon visit found the mall quite quiet, few customers and bored staff in some shops. My 3rd visit, and still not familiar with the layout, and between the Tower Parking Garage, the spacious mall layout with multiple floors, the multitude of casino rooms, and then you get to the Foxwoods Mall and Restaurants, you've covered a lot of ground, too much if you ask me. It seems to me the mall design forces you to walk past most of the shops in single file, and the only way back that we know of is to retrace your steps, again, a long walk. The staff we encountered was very pleasant and helpful, especially the woman at the Shoppers Assistance Desk where we stopped to have our purchases posted to our account for rewards purposes. Again, pleasant, courteous, helpful, and just plain interested in how we enjoyed our day at the mall. We ended our day dining at one of the casino restaurants, a short visit to the casino itself, and then made our way back to the garage. The casino has a small shuttle vehicle to get you back to Tanger, but they could then use a shuttle on the main floor of the mall to get you back to the garage. Signage is around for the main features of the complex, like the theater, hotels, Tanger, etc., but like one would expect, they don't seem to want to make it easy for you to leave. Oh, they have plenty of handouts describing the mall and casino, even a large monitor with the store layout, but the diagram on that was impossible to determine which shops were what, so was not helpful in trying to find our way to the garage. The handouts were detailed, but hard to figure out as your making your way through the mall. Didn't notice the 1% surcharge, but I agree with other posts, double dipping!! read more

Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods offers a convenient shopping destination, but my recent visit left me with mixed impressions. Retail Space & Atmosphere * The outlet itself is spacious and easy to navigate, with wide walkways and a clean environment. * However, a noticeable number of retail spaces were empty, which made certain sections feel quiet and underwhelming. * The lack of variety in some areas takes away from the excitement of browsing a full outlet center. Shops & Pricing * While there are still familiar name‑brand stores, many of the newer, smaller shops felt overpriced compared to what you'd expect at an outlet. * Some boutiques carried interesting items, but the value didn't match the premium price tags. * Bargain hunters may find themselves disappointed, as the deals aren't as plentiful as they once were. Dining & Extras * Food options are limited but serviceable, with a few quick bites available for shoppers who want a break. * Being connected to Foxwoods Resort is a plus, as it allows visitors to combine shopping with entertainment or dining elsewhere. Overall Impression Tanger Outlets Foxwoods earns three stars: it's clean, convenient, and still offers some recognizable brands, but the empty retail spaces and overpriced smaller shops make the experience less appealing than it could be. My husband and I recently visited the Foxwoods casino. We stayed at the fox tower for two nights and we really enjoyed the place. We had already visited the casino few years ago, but we were surprised to see that they had built a Tanger outlets there with a great variety of stores. Walking through the outlet, a sales person from the Oro Gold store invited us in after I took a free sample from him. We spent hours in the store and like thousands of others that never expected to leave with a bag full of products, I was surprised we have bought the number of products we did. They gave my husband a free facial (the first in his life) and he loved it! It was really fun and we are actually using the products since then. I wish stores opened a little bit earlier, since we stayed in the hotel and had to leave the place at noon, but other than that it was a great experience. We look forward to visiting the Tanger outlets at Fooxwoods again soon. read more

I came with my family to the outlet and I get some food and sit next to this awful place observing them. First, they were trying to advertise there Spa with there card, they were very verbally aggressive, they did demanded people to come in and do this 60 sec clean up. This sounds dramatic from me, until.. the girl that was doing this kept saying this word "Puta" which means b*tch in Spanish, after people didn't accept her card. And if she didn't say that word she went in and started vaping, how are we letting someone that can get high work at a spa? Come on. In addition, they are pushing elderly to come into their store, absolute dummy's. Kate spade has Very bad customer service. At 8/31/15 8pm, I ask the lady supervisor to do the the stock checking of that bag in the computer of her store, and she just say that's all we have without checking or try to find. Later on she bring another same bag out ( the bag I was looking for) for her customer, so what's is that about? So it's because somebody was helping me at the first, and I am not her customer, so she doesn't want to help me? That's ridiculous! I wish I don't need to ask her to help me to check since the black guy sales associate is new and she is only supervisor in the store. P.S. They said this mall is in casino the sale tax will be higher than other stores in Connecticut. So Don't be surprise when you why you are paying extra. read more

I really don't understand this "outlet mall" shopping. There are sales at every regular retailer and I think this whole way of shopping will be short lived! Just go to Kohl's or Macy's and everything is on sale anyway and you don't have to walk for miles just to visit one or two stores. I also find that this center is geared to the younger crowd, which is kind of funny because most of the people at Foxwoods are middle aged or older! Definitely not impressed with the mall itself and there are really no great deals! I guess I'm not a good "shopper" anyway. We have walked through this place several times and there doesn't seem to be much business there.....can't imagine what they pay for rent in these units, but they can't be making much of a profit!! read more

Parking is easy. Shops are hit or miss. Some are clearly not "outlet" shops. That toy store has everything marked at least 50% higher than the local walmart. No good deals there. Couldn't believe anyone was willing to get ripped off by buying something there. Other shops were much more up to outlet standard pricing. The Eddie Bauer had great deals on everything. True discounts. The Gap needs to be in a space twice as large as it is currently. Not enough space for outlet inventory. It's clean and safe, which is a plus. There's always some sort of entertainment on the stage in the middle of the concourse. It may not always be to your liking but at least it's an effort. I'll go back but the holiday shopping this year was not as good as last year. read more

I signed up for the Outlet Coupon Book ~ good savings! However, the 25% coupon (although it is an excellent money saver) can only be used in certain stores. I spent $400 yesterday at the outlet an Not one store I shopped in, accepted the coupon. All associates I encountered were helpful & happy! Avoid ADORE ~ the employees stand outside the doorway and will literally call after you, even if you purposefully walk on the opposite side of the hall (to avoid them)... annoying. They claim to be outlets... yet ALMOST every store you go in a store employee will tell you "this particular store is not an outlet" yet, each store we went in they said the same thing!!! DO NOT CALL THEM OUTLETS IF THEY AREN'T! This really aggravates me!! I will stick to Woodbury commons. It seems they're the only "true outlets". Also, tanger at Foxwoods does not have any decent restaurants to eat at. I only gave it 3 stars because it is fun to get a room and gamble a bit at night and wake up to go shopping;) read more

Tanger brochures states stores open at 9am in Foxwoods, but Customer Service opened at 10am and told us they changed hours but no one printed new brochures. I tried several stores at 10am only to find doors locked and some opened at 10:15 etc. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't staying in the hotel with checkout at noon. I really had a list of items I wanted and didn't have the time to shop. Someone in Management needs to update brochures or post BIG signs with NEW HOURS. read more

Hispanic couple at a toy store accused innocent kids of stealing. The business sold counterfeit toys, all fake, nothing real for 10x the value. Almost all store outlet employees look imprisoned or held hostage, no one is happy, no hospitality, what in the world is this place? Hell on earth is like it. Drive to other outlets and shop there where people want to be there. Don't come here, stay far far far far away. Terrible shopping center, and on top of tax you pay tribal tax! read more

I have visited this mall MANY times. I love the idea of being indoors. Some of the deals have been excellent. The Customer Service booth is quite accommodating and full of added value coupons. My only complaint is that the employees of 2 make up stores harass you in to taking their samples. One is at the entrance from the Casino, the second by the escalator on the other end as you go down towards Fox Tower. read more

Tanger Outlets @ Foxwoods has won me over as a local shopper I never have to go to the local malls for they don't have as many options as the Foxwoods Tanger location, the prices are competitive so not cheap nor expensive I'd say standard on the daily although when there are sales in the selected store there always a hit for me.... so if u haven't been try them out I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed. read more

We stayed overnight at Fox Towers so we enjoyed walking inside to and all around the Tanger Outlets staying warm and dry. We enjoyed AAA discounted food in the outlets, got several clearance bargains and enjoyed some winter walking indoors. We still had time to play in the Foxwood Casinos and enjoy the night life all in walking distance indoors which was tons of fun. read more

For me it is a great alternative so while my husband plays cards I have something to do. I would like to see a better variety of stores that are in other outlets. There are no women's lingerie stores, variety stores for accessories and costume jewelry and there can never be enough shoe stores. read more

This is one of my favorite Tanger Outlets. It's a nice distraction from the casinos, and I love that the stores stay open until 11pm, I also like that all of the stores are indoors. There are sufficient and clean restrooms and plenty of seating for the "non-shopper in your party". read more

An upscale outlet mall - full of great children's clothing, women & men's clothing, shoes, and designer stores. I have bought extensively at Gymoboree, Old Navy and Crocs outlets. I am happy to say, I got great deals in all! Love this quality shopping experience! read more

The outlet is nice and pretty new, but there are not too many store and I couldn't find good sales. Prices are like the ones in the mall. I guess during the holidays there will be better sales. I went there looking for the vitamin store and they just recently close. read more

I've been to several Tanger Outlets in other states and they are all superb. Great discounts for top quality items. The outlet at Foxwoods is especially handy if you forgot to pack something while staying at the Foxwoods Hotel! All in all a great mall. read more
