Good stores, good location, easily find the bathrooms, it's nicely organized and the map is extremely useful. The people working here are friendly and professional. It's big but not as big that would give you a headache. It's perfect for everything you need, for your kids at Disney, clothes for work, and many luxury item stores. There is not a lot of places for a book reading, geek to shop here. Most of the shops seem to charge more then I've found other places, so I don't really come here to shop unless I have something specific I really need. I do usually like their tiny indoor food court. Warning: if you go to Villa to eat, the customer service seriously sucks. I asked for a slice of pizza and a side salad, I got two leaves of lettuce and a bowl full of onions. I asked very nicely if I could have less onions and more salad. She told me that if I don't like onions the I have to have a Caesar salad. I told her that I don't like Caesar salads, just please replace some of the onions with salad. She dumped my salad and told me I can't have one. Then on my pizza which is nothing but basil pesto, tomatoes and mozzarella; she only put 2 cerry tomatoes in the middle and a like five tiny balls of mozzarella. So basically I got a peice of bread with mostly basil pesto. I won't even go into the fact that I asked for it to go, and it came out to me on a plate. This is the best of the Tanger Outlet series that I've been to; I felt like I was in a tropical island, walking past all of the shops and this place made me forget that Tornados were near the area... I actually really like this place. I really low key ( or maybe high key) hate mall like areas or anything other than clothes shopping online but I am evolving slightly and really enjoyed my experience here. I didn't buy anything since I have pledged to myself not to be a mindless consumer but i would definitely come back for a few products and i loved just walking around and getting a hot chocolate from Starbucks ( I'm weird. I do not like coffee). This place has a great selection of clothing shops as well as accessories. I came here with my two little nieces, my aunt, my mum and my cousin. My aunt and my mum ended up getting a lot of good deals for themselves and people back home in the Caribbean. I have put myself on a tight budget but had I been a little more tempted they were a few pieces I would have picked up. They have a food ourt and a play area for kids that is not that big but has those quarter machines for them. I think there is a Disney store but it didn't have a lot of items in there. All in all I will probably come back to walk around and maybe pick up a few items in the future. It is conveniently located very close to my house and there is a Buceeys nearby! read more

Really nice outdoor factory outlet mall located between Houston and Galveston. They had a lot of the stores and they were all clean and very nice. I had no problem spending too much money at places like Ralph Lauren and under armor. My only complaint is it's hot as heck here in the summer and you have to haul your stuff outside in the heat to the parking lot. read more

Tanger is a pretty far drive for me just to go shopping but when I need a good deal I don't mind. I usually avoid it like the plaque during hot days. Stores we frequent when we visit are Nike outlet, Levi's, Kenneth Cole, Vans and the Disney store for the little kiddo. Unfortunately we just found out that Kenneth Cole and Aeropostale will be closing so today when we visited they had all their liquidation sales up. Some items have some great discounts up to 60% off. We never have an issue with crowds at tanger it's usually in and out and no issues with parking. We have only gone to their small food court about twice but when it's hot it's the best place to be. There is a great variety of stores from your high end Apparel and accessory stores to your typical budget friendly stores. It's convenient for us that live on the east and south east parts of Houston and you can't beat the fact that you always could find a great deal. read more

Not a bad start Tanger, but you need to up your game a little more to keep up with the 290 outlet mall. There is lots of parking and all your staple outlet mall shops like Banana Republic, Coach, Michael Kors, Anne Taylor, Nike, Rebock and such. But I was hoping for the harder to find stores like Bath and Body Works, Waterford, Fifth off Saks, Joe's, Seven for all mankind and such. I like the theme of this one though. It feels very outdoorsy with the wooden chairs everywhere. I hope there are more shops to come, or I will keep going to the 290 outlet mall instead! read more

Love coming here for the great discounts, it's nice to have an outlet mall so close to home. My favorite stores are Kate Spade, Nine West, Kenneth Cole, White House Black Market, etc. Not all of the stores offer real bargains, so be aware! The ones that do though can be really good deals. To get to the outlets you need to take exit 19 and drive on the service road under the overpass and the entrance will be on your right. It can be easy to miss! read more

I stopped by looking for some dress clothes. I happened to be in the area and this was convenient, but otherwise, it can be out of the way. There's a good number of stores, but not necessarily for what I was searching for. Deals are hit and miss and I left without picking anything up. Love love love this place when it comes to fashion merchandising, athletic gear, and women's handbags. They've got a Kate Spade here, which often has some pretty decent mark down. In addition, there is Michael Korrs and a Coach. Fashion stores include a variety, from Old Navy, to Polo Ralph Lauren, to Ann Taylor, all of which have pretty decent sales. Athletics includes Nike, Under Armor, and Puma. The Nike outlet has some pretty decent markdowns when it comes to shoes, but their clothing is still pretty pricey. Only downer is that the food selection is limited, so be sure to grab food before you come! read more

Also, non smoking within the premises which is great because who wants to inhale second hand smoke while trying to enjoy the day with their families. I really don't like the outlet that much and I'm not impressed by the prices. The outlet is suppose to be marked down items, but they're about the same price or more expensive than regular stores. It's really just worth it to go more up the road to Baybrook. You can buy a red book from the customer service area for $5, which gets you coupons to shop around stores. read more

I have not been to an outlet mall in a long time. I immediately wondered why after being there for a couple hours and all the awesome finds I obtained. I needed to look for some more work clothes and dress pants. Not the most fun thing to go shopping for but it had to be done. After finding what I needed at New York and Company, we decided to do a little "us" shopping too. Why not? We're already here! They were having some amazing sales this past weekend and I got buy one get one free tank tops at Vans, buy one get one free pants at NY&C, and my shoes and new workout shorts at Puma were also 50% off. What a steal! I did not even feel guilty like I do when I go to a normal mall because I got the twice the stuff. The mall itself has great landscaping and is kept very clean. There is tons of parking and you don't even have to walk very far from your spot. There are entrancing all around. read more

I don't take any trips to this side of town anymore so because I already down here decided to make a whole trip out of it. I must say these outlets resemble the ones on the NW side of town very much. It's funny that both the NW outskirts and the SE outskirts are getting all the new shopping areas, along with all the new restaurants. But I gotta say on this occasion the NW has the SE beat. 1 star is givento the store selection. Great places with good prices. 1 star is given for how clean and pretty the place is. 3 stars are taken away for the crappy crappy bathroom layout!!! I had to change my 3 month child so I automatically went to the larger stall. No table there. So I went back to check if the family restroom was vacant after 5 min I decided to use the changing table that was available. Its on the side of the wall in the entrance way. Which is VERY narrow. So there I am trying to keep my stroller from blocking the entrance and get my supplies and baby out. Now to the WORST part...the table is located between two of the loudest hand drying machines ever!! Once I laid my baby down women kept drying their hands every 10 seconds and scared the crap out of him!!! He started to cry. So there I am blocking traffic...trying to hurry...hand dryers going off every 10 seconds and my blood boiling because I want to yell at the designer of the restroom!!! The outlet shopping is AWESOME, great shops, even better selection. The entire point of the bad review is the food. My family visits the mall a lot. Every single food court eatery is crap. It's frozen turds for sale. Completely inedible. We stop at the pretzel shop outside if necessary. Please don't waste your time/money on this frozen food delicatessen. Tanger just needs to bite the bullet and let the bigger chains in. Other than that the shopping deals are way cheaper than you could find anywhere else. SHOP DONT EAT! read more

Great outlets , near Galveston and a buccess store practically next door. This outlet has several stores opened and they have great deals Kate Spade, Guess , Coach and many many more. They have lots of parking and a Starbucks. Now the food court can be an issue only 4 restaurants :( but other than that get a great coffee and ready for some shopping. read more

Pretty good place. Lots of stores. You can find good deals from time to time, especially with the coupons they offer. We usually leave with several bags of stuff. However they have almost no options left in the food court. If you plan to be a while or have hungry kids, you pretty much have to leave. That is a shame because our kids loved eating "by the river" there. Also don't brave the old navy line unless you are desperate as heck for cheap clothes. It is a 30 minute wait even if it is just you in line. It is so consistently bad that we most often leave without making our intended purchase. Also am sad that Perry Ellis closed. They had good fitting clothes at good prices. Wish they would get a Johnston and Murphy. read more

I was so upset when my mom and I went to the outlet last Friday(dec 11,2020). Our first stop was to go to Michael Kors store. We got there and we're 3rd in line. To find out they weren't going to open that day they were going to open Saturday morning. They could've put a sign on the door or something. We were so upset cause that's the " main reason" we went to the outlet. We both were off work that day BUT. although we were pissed we went to Victoria's Secret and found great deals. read more

I attended an event here on Sunday 04/21/13 - it was a the Taste & Style event with celebrity Chef Curtis Stone. There were several food trucks set up in the parking lot, cooking demonstrations from kitchenaid and then Curtis Stone. I took my mom because she loves Curtis Stone and we had such a great time! We got food from 3 of the trucks and all were delicious. Tanger did a good job of setting up the event and there were plenty of Tanger employees on hand to help out when we had questions. There was even a free photo booth w/props set up for us to take a photo. The photo was free also, a printed and digital version. The Curtis Stone demonstration was amazing. Not only was he funny and entertaining but he pulled people from the crowd to join him on stage. He gave away some great prizes and then he signed autographs and took pictures with his fans. Tanger did an awesome job with this event and I hope there are more to come. read more

I was seriously impressed at how clean and welcoming the mall was. I have not been to an outlet mall in a really long time, so it was nice to go to one that you actually want to walk around and look at the stores. It isn't huge like some of the other outlet malls are, but had enough stores for a variety of needs. We were also there for the Curtis Stone cooking event and book tour and had a blast. So much fun to be able to see a real chef and get to quickly meet them. Well put on event and we will definitely be going back. Thanks to Tanger Outlets for the invite out! read more

This review is for the coach outlet only. I will choose to shop elsewhere from now on when it's something coach related. I made a purchase in the evening and noted to the associate that I wanted to think about it before making another purchase (burgundy bag). So I asked what time they closed and headed out to the other shops. I eventually made my way bag as I decided to make the purchase after all. The most annoying and least helpful male employee was the one to help us when we returned and refused to sell the bag to me. Didn't even want to hear what I had to say. But to come back later. Remember I was in the store and made a purchase an hour prior. I really want to think that he is just new. Because I'm appalled at how I was treated.
