The woman taking orders was so sweet and even ran my card out to me when I accidentally left it in the card reader. I ended up ordering the brisket arepa at the recommendation of a regular customer ahead of me in line. Delicious. They make a good brisket, y'all! The succulent meat fusing with latinx influence of the arepa for a result reminiscent of Valentina's taco truck (RIP). I'm not an arepa expert, but it was delicious, and PACKED with the good stuff. No skimping here. It also comes with a salsa that seemed like an avocado sauce...only thing I would change is for the sauce to be stronger, as it was too subtle for me and I like a kick. We ordered several each of the empanadas and pastelitos and our whole family was very happy. These are Venezuelan style, so a little different than we're used to, but very delicious. Our favorites were the pabellon and shredded beef. There were two customers ahead of us, people picking up online orders, and by the time we left, there were 4-5 more customers waiting, so it seems quite popular. Other things I liked: - reasonable price - made to order quickly - friendly service - tables to sit while you're waiting - they give you plenty of garlic sauce (my wife loooooved the garlic sauce) - they sear the name of the filling onto the outside so you know which one is which This will probably be a regular pickup for us now. So glad they're here!
