The key is "healthy" plants , where once you put the effort into planting your plant and spending the time and effort to get it established you want it to live. I have had great success over the years with Bordine plants surviving that it has become my go to Nursery store in the area. In this particular visit, I purchased two grapevines, Reliance and Canadice, That are a tad difficult to find and when you do will run you up to $50 per vine. At $19 a vine I feel I got a great deal and knowledge that the plants are healthy and in a good position to survive once planted. Not bad considering the alternatives. If you have a green thumb and have never been to a Bordines before you should definately check this business out.

They had a crane for the highest trees and another one for other branches. They were truly safety conscious! One huge branch was over our neighbor's new pool and no damage and sticks affected them. They had a worker who did a great job of gathering sticks and debris and they ground up a stump very well. They arrived on time and stayed after dark to finish the work. The man, Ed, was respectful and was productive from the moment he started the job. He was efficient with his time. After he replaced the pressure vacuum breaker, he had to test the sprinkler system. That was when he discovered the leak in one of the sprinkler lines, and he identified which heads needed to be replaced. He was transparent with the required work and the additional cost that was associated with it. I really appreciated that about him and his irrigation company. They cut a dogwood, didn't stump it, and planted a serviceberry right on top of it. Now it is leaning into the house, and I have to pay for pruning hopefully to reshape it. 3. Terrible with returning calls and follow ups. 4. Didn't plant into the ground, mound planted everything on top. 5. Very expensive. Do not recommend this company.
