Great vibe, beautiful outdoor space, excellent service, and delicious pasta. If you're visiting Puerto Morelos, give this place a visit! They also have outdoor entertainment, singers and pianists, so you can enjoy some music while dining. Don't forget your bug spray! You'll want it. We'll definitely be coming back!

I've been here a few times and every time it's been great. We had 4 people last night and had the tuna appetizer and I had the tuna entree. Everyone had something different and everyone cleaned the plate! We ordered two desserts and cleaned them up too! Everything has been great. Service was great and we had a great piano player too.

Beautiful patio; lovely in the evening all lit up. Live music while we were there.

Camilla was our server both for a late afternoon glass of wine, and for a Saturday evening dinner. She made us feel so welcome and the first visit was so enjoyable we came back the second time. Staff was all helpful to us, and seemed helpful to each other, filling in where needed to for smooth operations. (And they had a full house saturday night, all working together.) Staff is knowledgable and able to speak with you about wine menu and dinner menu as well as provide recommendations. We enjoyed all of our dishes, wine and drinks. Several groups were there for special events - birthday parties, etc - the staff accomidated these larger groups well. Attire of guests was a wide range from Very casual (shorts/jeans) to dresses or botton down/long sleeves and pants. The restaurant is a few blocks off the beach - but on a cute, walkable (no vehicles) street with other reataurants, ice cream, etc and patio/street seating along the way. Our taxi dropped off us off and picked us up a block away and we were able to do Some walking before and after our meal. The live music was a treat and began about 7:45pm. I would encourage a reservation ahead of time to know you'll have a table. Seating options are an outdoor backyard type area, as well as tables in a more enclosed space. Each were lovely. Ambiance is wonderul. Noise is relatively low, so conversation was easy. (Outside of the live music time - but it was also very mellow that night.) Our group stayed at a nearby all-inclusive resort, but as is typical for me, quickly crave amazing, local food choices and atmosphere - you will find that at Tanino's!

The hummus sampler was adorable presented in little clay pots- and it was delicious to boot!!

Vegans should definitely dine here! I had a spectacular dinner at Tanino's on my only night in Puerto Moreles. The backyard patio is elegant and serene, with tasteful lighting and ambiance. I started with the beef carpaccio, which was tasty (though it could use a few more walnuts). The hummus sampler was super yummy (with four different flavors, including sweet potato), and it was originally presented in cute little flower pots. My waiter Marco was so positive, professional and upbeat- he clearly enjoys his work and made my meal more enjoyable as a result! I complained to him that there were no vegan desserts on the menu, so Marco told the chef, who then whipped up a special vegan dessert for me on the spot- a pear dish that was delectable. This place rolls out the red carpet for its customers- I will definitely be back when I'm back in town. I highly recommend that you check out this place for dinner. Don't forget to bring bug spray if it's after dark!

Beef broth. I will literally come back just for this broth, and the corn/octopus appetizer. Amazing.

Don't come here on Tuesday night. Waiting 1 hour and no appetizer! Kitchen, apparently, not big enough to handle volume.

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!

We came to Harry's a couple years back when we visited Cancun and I am celiac and I had a lovely dinner with my partner. On this visit, we were seated at a beautiful table and we ordered drinks. Our waiter, a bald headed young man 30s, refused to check with the kitchen to see if they could accommodate me. I am celiac not vegan. I was told there was nothing I could eat except steak and he proceeded to show us the entire steak selection. Truthfully I was feeling slightly unwell from not eating the entire day. I felt like fish, he said I can give you dry fish no sauce on top. He suggested maybe we just do appetizers. We had a 8 pm dinner reservation, what the hell would I want to order appetizers and call it day? This waiter was chit chatting with his maitre'd and other wait staff and I felt terribly uncomfortable that i was told I couldn't eat anything from the men, we we all know was ridiculous and not true. We finished our drinks and asked for the check. I made a reservation for Porfirios next door bc I could see they had some gluten free options. Harry's used to be accommodating but no longer. We will not come to Harry's again for food. Not only this, the waiter was trying to once again embarrass us by advising us that we could walk to Porfirios, next door to the restaurant from the back patio. We got up and began walking towards the patio and suddenly I realized he was totally making a fool of us, why would we go from the back if we have to check in with the hostess stand in the front of the restaurant? We walked straight out of Harry's from front door. Never again. So disrespectful and such a rude experience. Not only this, Harry's canceled/ removed our open table reservation (even though we fulfilled it and paid for our drinks and still tipped generously), so I cannot even leave a review and send a private message to the restaurant. Pathetic customer service.

There's usually a wait to get in, which says a lot considering most of the other restaurants didn't have much of one. We waited about 30 minutes the first night and 15 the second, and after eating here, I can see why it's one of the more popular spots on the property. We started with several appetizers. The samosas were small but really good. The gyoza was fine, just your standard gyoza. The chicken satay was another highlight, with a really flavorful peanut sauce. The dumpling soup was okay and a little different than expected since it included noodles. For entrees, the mixed fried rice was excellent. It had some kind of unique seasoning that I couldn't quite identify, but it worked. The rice had great texture, and they definitely didn't skimp on the shrimp and chicken. The pad thai was pretty good too, although it leaned much sweeter than I expected. It almost reminded me of a really good upscale microwavable pad thai, with more sweet sauce than spice. The THAO was another standout. It's kind of their version of orange chicken, and it was really good. My only complaint is that the portion size felt a little small, so I'd recommend ordering something alongside it. The desserts were surprisingly great across the board. We tried almost all of them except the mango and turmeric dessert. My favorites were the carrot cake and the leche coconut dessert. Both were excellent. They also have a nice selection of signature cocktails. The Sakarita, a sake margarita, was okay. The Geisha was good if you enjoy the smoky flavor of mezcal. My girlfriend really liked the Leche Martini, and my favorite was the Buddha, which felt like their take on an Old Fashioned. Service was consistently good. What really stood out was that when we returned two nights later, our server immediately recognized us, welcomed us back, and genuinely asked how we had enjoyed our first visit. It felt sincere and not scripted, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that the restaurant is entirely outdoors. They do have fans, but on really humid nights it can be rough. The second time we visited, the humidity was intense, and even sitting directly in front of a fan I felt like I was melting. That's more of a weather issue than a restaurant issue, though. Overall, this was one of the best meals we had at the resort. Great food, good drinks, friendly service, and a menu that had several items worth ordering again. If you're only trying a few restaurants at Live Aqua, this should absolutely be one of them.

Came to Hidden Garden for one of our dinner for a special birthday celebration of my friend. The food was great and the ambiance was great. The service from our server was great. It was such a nice special touch for the chef to come out and ask how everything was, and the server brought out a birthday dessert for my friend. 5 stars on all of that. So why 2-stars then? The hostess of this place that evening was rude and out of place. We were all dressed VERY NICE in all black, however, one of the guy in our group's outfit was sleeveless. He was wearing a very nice leather sleeveless vest. Mind you, it wasn't a tank top, it wasn't swim wear, it wasn't athletic wear. It was an expensive leather vest, very fashionable. Nicer than all of the old men wearing shorts and Hawaiian shirts or basic polo shirts. The hostess didn't allow him in until he changed to something that had sleeves. Friend changed and was allowed in. Once inside, he put the vest back on for photos since everyone in our group coordinated to be wearing black fashionably. On our way out of the restaurant, the hostess had the nerve to stop us and say something about it. Lesson here is, do better. We understand that there's dresscode, but know what should be acceptable or not. If it was a tank top, swim wear, or athletic wear, we'd definitely understand. But it was not, it was upscale and fashionable, just without the sleeve. Plus, women are allowed to be sleeveless but not men? What year do you live in? Train your hostess better.
