I decided to treat myself to a car wash in Fort Washington while dropping off my kids to grandma. Both kids were asleep and my 6yo son had a weird fear of car washes, so imagine his surprise as he wakes up to the loud rumbles of soft bristles slapping my car window rocking back and forth. He awoke startled and asked why is there purple stuff on the windshield. I told him I hit a unicorn and now the other unicorns are angry. My son started to cry. My 2yo daughter awoke from her sleep and started to laugh which made me wonder if she's a psychopath. Then I remembered she is my daughter and her and I continued to laugh at my son. Apparently my son told my mom what I did and she punched me. Not cool mom... I gave 4 stars cause I paid 15 dollars for a decent car wash that that got most of the bird poop off...

Upon finishing this transaction I noticed that there wasn't a receipt. I went into the store to receive my receipt, but was given the runaround and told that I should have come inside and paid first, then I would have been issued a receipt. I inquired, why wasn't there a sign to inform you. I had to pretty much clown, in order for him to at least tell me to come back tomorrow for a receipt.! This is ridiculous! Upon returning to my car, I noticed there was dirt still on my car that had not been washed. The brushes had never touched that part of my car. Imagine how many others have gone through this. Do yourself a favor! Do not wash your car at this establishment, or shop here, if you intend on receiving a receipt for your transactions. Just a thought! .....Had this been an all-white neighborhood, would they had received the same treatment????

Possible Card Skimmers - Be Careful…read more I stopped at this gas station because it's the last one before the highway. Everything seemed normal at first--the clerk was acting like any typical store employee. When I went to pay, I tried to tap my card, but it wasn't working. The clerk immediately told me the machine wasn't broken and that I needed to insert my card instead. That raised a small concern for me. I went back to my car to grab a different card and tried tap to pay again, but it still wouldn't work. When I mentioned that the machine might not be functioning properly, the clerk suddenly became very aggressive and upset, insisting I insert the card. After my card finally went through, the clerk became even angrier and tried to kick me out, even though I was already leaving. The reaction seemed very unusual just for pointing out a possible issue with the payment machine. Because of how strongly he pushed for card insertion instead of tap, and how aggressively he reacted when I questioned it, it honestly made me uncomfortable. I'm canceling my cards just to be safe. If you stop here, I'd recommend paying with cash. Also be aware that the staff seemed very rude to multiple customers while I was there.

Getting fuel here is a task. The lot is always congested. Especially since it feels like truck stop gas station. Being positioned where it is, and them trying to pack in as much as they could in this strip of land, it is almost impossible to move about without getting stuck in congestion. The pumps are always busy. It may take some time to get one, and you never know which way a person is going to pull into one of the pumps. It is interesting to see how people are oblivious to everything around them. Inside, it is set up like your traditional convenience store. However, smelling like Subway bread the whole time in here. Service inside is not always the best. I found it to be interesting that they would always find a way to run from behind the counter when they see you coming towards it. Or they would simply turn their backs to you. Once one of them finally realizes you are there, it can be a bit congested like it is outside. I think they purposefully leave the one register down because to cater to those seeking lottery tickets. My favorite part here, the display case with all the plastic food that they may have available. Not only is there a Subway inside, but you get your selection of the 7-11 fare.

Let me start by saying I have been bringing my cars here for years with no problem. However, today…read moremy son brought one of my cars (ie 2003 Mercedes Benz) here for an oil change. After completing the oil change my son drove less than a quarter mile to 210 hwy and the car started overheating. Upon inspection, if was determined that one of the plastic hoses attached to the cooling system was broken and someone had placed electrical tape on the hose. We stay about 5 miles from the shop so clearly electrical tape was not on this hose when the car arrived at the shop, as electrical tape will not seal a high pressure hose (as evident by the car overheating less than a mile from the shop). Secondly, we were just under the hood two days ago, trying to locate the transmission fluid stick only to find out there is no transmission stick on this model (see picture two days ago which clearly shows the hose attached properly). When asking the mechanic if he broke the plastic hose, of course he denied it but did say he saw some tape (what tape, no one said anything about tape). After years of having every car I own (four in total) serviced here, I am really disappointed they didn't take responsible for this. If this is how they treat a loyal customer, then HOW DO U THINK THEY WILL TREAT YOU. Find yourself another shop because this one is dishonest.

However,…read morein the more recent year, it seems there is a growth of people loitering and asking for money at the gas station. Sometimes I see people driving by and transactions are made. Just less than an hour ago I was filling up my gas, minding my own business, and a man in a red truck comes by staring at me, asking me for money. When I said no, I don't have any cash, he literally parked beside me and kept asking me and staring at me while I pumped my gas. I looked around and no attendants. no police cars etc. it's just sad. Another time a van, full of people harassed my husband as well for gas money he offered them a little bit of cash he had, but apparently wasn't enough and they wanted him to use his card to fill up their tank. Just so happens an attendant was outside at that time with security to make them leave. Is there some sort of network of people that has targeted the station for this kind of activity? It happens so often. I know the economy is not well for many ppl and some people just have to do what they have to do, but I will not be going to a gas station where we don't feel safe. There has to be some security measures for those who can't take no for an answer.

I hopped on my exit and crunched on a few mediocre potato wedges and then fumbled around my box for a tender to discover...there were none. She checked. She checked the friggin box to make sure the order was right. Was she incoherent? Petty? Visually impaired? I'm still annoyed. And this was 2 weeks ago.

I told her that my tank only takes about $32, as I already had gas in the car and I just have a Chrysler 200. She proceeds to tell me this is not five gallons of gas on the ground. And it's not 10 dollars worth. I asked her what she thought was fair. She brought me 5 dollars. As the error was not fault, nor did I have a measuring cup to measure the gas. I felt $9.00 was not much to make a client happy for a error that was from their equipment. Although this maybe my neighborhood gas station, I won't be visiting again. Although it may be "just gas" good customer service should be expected no matter the Service provided.

They know their stuff. If you have to leave your car for a few hours, they'll give you a ride home if needed. I just waited less than an hour for my service, so I just sat inside. I even got a postcard in the mail a week or two ago thanking me for choosing them to service my vehicle. That was very nice, that they really appreciate me as a customer. I will be returning in the future for oil changes and other maintenance services. Don't waste your time at the dealership, or you shall get ripped off!
