Everything we ordered was surprisingly tasty... Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccololini, Angus burger with cheese and bacon, and chicken quesadilla. Prices are reasonable for the hotel and the convenience. (The food in my photo is partially eaten already.)

Everything seemed normal at first--the clerk was acting like any typical store employee. When I went to pay, I tried to tap my card, but it wasn't working. The clerk immediately told me the machine wasn't broken and that I needed to insert my card instead. That raised a small concern for me. I went back to my car to grab a different card and tried tap to pay again, but it still wouldn't work. When I mentioned that the machine might not be functioning properly, the clerk suddenly became very aggressive and upset, insisting I insert the card. After my card finally went through, the clerk became even angrier and tried to kick me out, even though I was already leaving. The reaction seemed very unusual just for pointing out a possible issue with the payment machine. Because of how strongly he pushed for card insertion instead of tap, and how aggressively he reacted when I questioned it, it honestly made me uncomfortable. I'm canceling my cards just to be safe. If you stop here, I'd recommend paying with cash. Also be aware that the staff seemed very rude to multiple customers while I was there.

Being positioned where it is, and them trying to pack in as much as they could in this strip of land, it is almost impossible to move about without getting stuck in congestion. The pumps are always busy. It may take some time to get one, and you never know which way a person is going to pull into one of the pumps. It is interesting to see how people are oblivious to everything around them. Inside, it is set up like your traditional convenience store. However, smelling like Subway bread the whole time in here. Service inside is not always the best. I found it to be interesting that they would always find a way to run from behind the counter when they see you coming towards it. Or they would simply turn their backs to you. Once one of them finally realizes you are there, it can be a bit congested like it is outside. I think they purposefully leave the one register down because to cater to those seeking lottery tickets. My favorite part here, the display case with all the plastic food that they may have available. Not only is there a Subway inside, but you get your selection of the 7-11 fare.

I'd don't recall ever being treated as rudely or just plain nastily by ANYONE. A simple summary: I wanted to make a split transaction: cash/credit. Then I put down a $10 bill and $10 in quarters (I will stress this point, it was neatly arranged in a freakin' quarter roll), once I placed down the roll of quarters, he went from just being unfriendly, to down right NASTY. He claimed that his register had too many quarters (first off, it was in a freakin roll) and then he just kept saying he wouldn't take it, it was unacceptable, and just kept being extremely rude about it. I said, look, it's still money? I said even that I'd take it out of the quarter roll if he wanted to count it. Nope, that wasn't good enough, and I finally got so frustrated with his nastiness, I just left the store and told him to put the items back. Honestly, I didn't even need to use the roll of quarters, I was just trying to get rid of some extra cash / change laying around my house. The guy was completely out of line, I'd never been treated so horribly by a clerk in my entire life. It was like... somehow I was the 'enemy' or trying to scam him? It was a horrible experience and I reccomend that you do not use this store if that guy is working, unless you like being treated horribly. It was decently early in the morning (around 8am), so if this guy is on shift, watch out! Personally, from now on, I was so shaken by this incident, I will never shop at the entire location ever again. Why when there are 4 other 7/11s within a freakin' MILE lol.
