She explained the options she had for initial earrings and why the stainless steel screw-on type were ideal for new piercings. Alex walked my daughter into her studio and talked her through each piercing patiently, answering any questions my curious daughter had. Because Alex uses needles rather than a piercing gun, it was different than what my daughter was accustomed to during her first piercing. In the end, there were absolutely no tears, unlike the painful experience at the chain jewelry store. Alex provided after-care instructions for the piercing and made sure she addressed all questions and concerns we had at the time. Ms. Tina is literally the best ever. I was having a crisis during this quarantine when my flat piercing became embedded and my whole ear and other piercings became swollen. She facetimed me and talked me through the steps needed to remove it from my ear before it became worse. I ended up messing up and got the backing stuck in my ear cartilage and I couldn't get it out, I was panicking to say the least. She offered to help in person. We met at the shop, mask and gloves on for precaution, and she popped the backing out of my cartilage and changed my jewelry in the other piercings to give them a chance to breathe and heal better from the swelling. She is amazing and I highly recommend her. She really cares about you and wants to ensure that your piercings are healing the best way for you. Thanks again! read more

Hidden terms: An electronic request for the $100 consultation fee (w/ an unexpected 10% processing fee), only to find out from their confirmation AFTER that they accept cash w/o the fee. Inflexible policies: I emailed and texted to cancel according to their policy (no penalty if cancel more than 72 hours). They claimed it didn't apply, but "graciously" let me reschedule. Insane pricing: A flat hourly rate regardless of complexity. When I finally forced a real quote out of them, it was 2-3x higher than other shops. I ultimately cut my losses, walked away from the $100, and went to another artist. My final ink only took 30 min, w/ no consultation fee, and cost 40% of what this place quoted. Total rip-off.

To make matters worse, my jewelry came off just one week after the piercing, even though I followed all of the aftercare instructions exactly as I was told. I expected the jewelry to be secure, especially so soon after getting pierced. Having to deal with that so quickly was disappointing and made me question the quality of the service. I tried to handle this with out laying it out there because I know mistakes happen, but the fact that I have received NO response at all to this email has made it clear that they don't actually care. Despite the fact that I had emailed and confirmed with Haleigh on Monday that I was coming for an appointment with her when I arrived that Thursday, my appointment was not in the schedule and she wasn't even ready for me at all. She had a different appointment scheduled at the time I was supposed to be seen Apparently there are glitches with your scheduling software. I try not be a pain and when a different artist was offered to me as she was free at the time I said ok. Lainey took over and just did the nose prints from my dogs since that was basically a copy and paste, since absolutely nothing had been worked up for the other part of my memorial tattoo, which is my late husband's thumbprint as the body of a hummingbird. I was so excited to get the tattoo I agreed to switch artists figuring that anyone in the shop would be good enough to do it well. Though I was already disappointed that I was not seeing the original artist, nor had she even started to work up any options that I thought I would have seen and been able to discuss ahead of time. Well, there is a decent amount of blow out on my tattoo. I am extremely disappointed because this tattoo means so much to me. As far as I understand there is nothing that can be done to remedy this and I am now forever stuck with it. I just wanted you to know how upset I am over this. I actually tried to do it right this time. Found who was supposed to be a reputable and sought after tattoo shop, took the time to come in for 2 different consults, and sent multiple emails with pictures. And this tattoo that means so much to me is blurry and there is random ink under my skin. I've attached pictures. There are spots that are supposed to be there, but the blow out is especially noticeable on the lower nose print. As I said, to my understanding there is nothing that can be done to fix this.
