My husband and I visited Tao Massage for a post-Valentine's Day couples massage, and overall we had a really great experience. The facility was clean, calming, and well-maintained, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The massage was professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. One thing I do want to mention is that midway through the session, they offered an upgrade to their Chinese herbal essential oil for an additional $30 per person. The oil did feel nice and had a refreshing minty sensation, but next time I'll probably stick with the regular massage oil. Aside from that small interruption, everything was wonderful, and we would definitely consider returning. read more

PLEASE READ: The massage and service is fine. What is NOT okay is that when the massage is over, the workers in the front/ the masseuses STARE at you intensely to make you uncomfortable and pressure you to tip more. I went here once and I handed a reasonable cash tip to the masseuses but they didn't say thank you or anything and just stared at the money then at me as if it wasn't enough. Feeling embarrassed I felt pressure to tip more and gave them more cash. I just found out TODAY that another friend of mine went there yesterday and the same thing happened to them where the staff stared at her boyfriend, which made him uncomfortable and led him to pay way more than he had intended (he confirmed he wouldn't have otherwise). Ive been to A LOT of massages and thought maybe my experience was a one off but now I know this is a strategy they use to get more money out of people. It's incredibly rude and deceptive. read more

Decent massage but bad experience Massage thrown off by the masseuses repeatedly trying to sell you upgrades in the middle of the massage, and then passive aggressively responding when you decline to spend more money. Also, commenting on body features during the massage is not something that should be allowed. Being called a "monkey" in the middle of my massage because my legs have a bit of hair on them, and my wife's skin being commented on is not something that made us relaxed during our time there. I understand the upgrades but they should ask you all that before the massage, not in the middle of it while you are trying to relax. Decent massage but I don't think I'd come here again. read more

I'm a certified massage therapist that has worked for a chiropractor and massage envy. They promote Swedish and deep tissue massage. Me and my wife got the Swedish with hot stones. This was not Swedish at all, it hurt, and the hot stones were cold. Therapist tried chiropractor techniques and they could have been sued since they are not licensed for this. Next time I will spend extra money for a spa instead of these cheap places. Avoid this place as they don't know what they are doing. read more

Was looking for a off-strip massage place. It's fairly new, my massage therapist Rose said they've been there for 2 years. Husband and I found a good clean location on Spring Mountain Blvd near Chinatown. Rose was great, she worked the kinks in my neck and shoulders. Loved the hot stone treatment. Cupping and CBD oil is available as an add on. My husband had therapist Nana who provided the right amount of pressure. Reasonably priced, would go again but for 90 minutes instead of 60. read more

This place is new and clean. The problems are: the receptionist asked us to pay upfront even though the service is not rendered. Another problem is the masseuse talks a lot while giving me a body massage, this ruin my peace and tranquillity of being relaxed. Lastly, the lights are dimmed enough. Definitely do NOT go here for a foot massage. It was terrible and I would never go back. Also... they stood at the front to ask " do you mind if you leave some tips???" Nice place but there was a lack of communication. I regret not asking anymore questions as well, but the front reception guy seemed confused and hard to understand. As I lay here on the bed getting this foot massage... getting mostly my shins massaged. I am truly disappointed and should have left when I had a chance. I was asked to sit in the room with no direction whatsoever . Wishing that this session would stop. My masseuse kept on walking in and out of the room to check in people at the door and would occasionally go on her phone. It didn't bother me too much until she ended our massage 15 minutes early and then laughed when I only tipped her $20 for my sister and I. She looked very irritated and didn't even say thank you when we left. Massage was as alright, but we won't be back again for that attitude. If you don't go the full time I paid for and constantly leave the room to talk to other people, don't expect a fat tip.
