We never ate at any of the locations, but this one had really good service, great location, tons of space to eat, HUGE bar with good drinks. They do have a pickup area in the back, we got milkshakes to go one of the days but they took FOREVER. They were delicious, but I think they would have been quicker if we ordered inside. After we finished, we waited about 15 minutes for our check. My wife and I joked that maybe she quit! I finally went to the bar to ask to pay so we could leave. When the lady at the bar handed me the check is when we noticed an 18 percent gratuity was added to our bill. I questioned it and she stated that they do that to every bill. I stated that now I understood why our waitress never visited our table again; she didn't need to, she was getting her tip either way. My very first time in Virgin Islands, and after a very tough and stressful first day finally got to eat and drink at the st thomas marina. The place is pretty close to my hotel Blue Beard Castle, and in a good shopping area. I ordered a beer name Carib and Korean style chicken wing. The beer was $5 the chicken wing $15. It's turned out I've got only ) pieced very sweet wings which I found really expensive than Im used to. I believe for this price I should've get some more. Anyway the staff was really nice, helpful and kind. The place looked okay. It wasn't that good to return but It was a good place to hang out on my first day on the carribian. We found this place on a recent visit to St. Thomas. It was a cute open air restaurant with a tropical vibe. The burgers and fries were delicious. The food is served on tin foil and in a paper bag. The cutlery was plastic. All throwaway and low maintenance. So here is the downside. The bathroom, as there was only one, was the fiilthiest I have ever seen. There was water and or piss all over the floor. There was NO SOAP or anything to dry off your hands. Thankfully I only went in there to wash my hands or in my case rinse and drip dry. This is obviously a very popular and profitable restaurant. It's mind boggling to me that they cannot provide their customers with a clean and sanitary bathroom to include soap and paper towels. I used to regularly eat here because they absolutely have the best burgers on island. Recently though they changed their portions of fries, without warning. For the same price you now get less than half the fries in a little Happy Meal sized cup. Give your customers a choice. If they want the tiny cup of fries then put it on the menu that way. For those who actually want a larger order of fries, make that an option as well and feel free to charge more. Simply cutting the portion in half, without warning, is not good business. Great American style pub with local craft beers and very tasty wings and extra good fries. The bartenders are fun and keep the customers happy. There's a small patio out back over looking the docks. The bathroom is a walk outside in a small shed. Not ideal in the rain, but clean and safe. Also not a lot of parking, but that's an island issue. Lots of locals and some tourists here. If you are by Havensight, the Tap & Still is definitely worth a stop whether you are just grabbing a drink or having a bite to eat as well. We had just arrived and we were famished after stopping by the condo and emptying out luggage's and such and grabbing a burger and beer was most definitely a good call. They have papers in which you place your individual order and options like burgers with an array of DIY toppings, wings, hot dog, sandwiches, fries and even a funnel cake - simplicity of good ingredients at this best. With open air seating, cool 70's-80's rock jams, and a view of the Rock City Brewery actions taking place. The food was good and each of our orders came in pink to go bags which you open and eat at a table. We had a toddler with us and they had grilled cheese with the yellow cheese which she devoured so yay for that. She had a pineapple juice in a Smirnoff cup though - starting them young haha. And they also had ice cream for dessert. My husband and I couldn't wait to try a couple of Painkillers which is one of the staple drinks in the Caribbean and then we also tried some of their home brewed IPA called Dumpster Cock - I feel like I need to get one of those shirts too. Overall, the food is great, prices reasonable, and service friendly. The burgers and fries remind me of In & Out back at home in that the patties are fresh (never frozen) and the fries fresh cut (though the fries here are way better, i.e. crispier, thicker, than those back home). The Korean spicy chicken wings are fantastic and compliment the burgers very well. Fyi, I heard they are getting milkshakes and that they are excellent. I'm a big Tap & Still fan and have been to all three sites. The Havensight one is my favorite as it feels the biggest and most airy. I also like the location, right near the large cruise ships. Now the drinks were watered down. We ordered shots of reposado and they all tasted like they were mixed with water. The vibes were good. It was packed and they play good music. Every once in a while I think it's perfectly ok to annihilate your diet and treat yourself to an all American meal of burgers, wings and fries. St. Thomas, yes is an US territory but good 'ole burger joints out here are so hard to find. Located right next to where the cruise ships pull up in Havensight, you're not going to get any kind of fabulous waterfront view, but you will get speedy pub service and a plethora of sports channels on flat screens that are easily found stateside. Ordertaking is an antiquated version of a tableside POS self ordering system. You'll circle and check with a pencil of what you want to order off of a paper order slip. Its still a lot more efficient that verbally saying an order to wait staff and leaves less room for communication snafus. Happy hour is cheap and runs for a decent period of time between 3p and 6p. They have $2 Amstel Lights, Heineken and Coors, $3 Guinness, Blue Moon, Sam Adams, Corona, Angry Orchard and mixed cocktails. The best burger on their menu is the double bacon cheeseburger ($10) with all cold and hot toppings. A side order of "never been frozen fries" ($3) is a must and their spicy Korean chicken wings ($9) which apparently has been voted the best wings on the island for forever is delish! Everything oozes delicious juciness and its a finger licking mess, but you'll get a roll of papertowels to help with that. Minus one star for no wet wipes, everything is served out of paper bags, and only one unisex single stall bathroom. For a place that serves up dirt cheap drinks and that is so busy, waiting for the bathroom to vacate will cut down on the happy part of happy hour. All in all a great burger joint and bar for tourists and locals alike! read more

Although the food was fine enough, and drink are cheap (painkillers $7, greyhound =$4) and the vibe was friendly enough, I have a real problem with the disposables!! Drinks come in disposable plastic glasses and individual burgers come wrapped in foil and inside a paper bag. Maybe this is a decision they made to conserve water (no glasses/dishes to wash), but it seems environmentally irresponsible to create so much trash on this island. I also object to the 18% service that is automatically added (though we'd generally tip at least that, I find it deceptive whenever a restaurant tacks that on without having the servers bring specific attention to that). Ordered a third to go for a friend and that was not cooked properly. Talk about needing the health department.
