We went here for a late lunch and drinks after a day of doing tourist stuff. The vibe is totally laid back. It's the type of place you can sit and drink and chill for hours. There is no view of the marina or ocean, but the seating is all open air and they play great classic rock. The drink menu is limited but they have a full bar so you just need to ask for what you want. I started with the Reef Island IPA which is a very tasty and smooth IPA. The wife had a rum punch which she said was weak. For food, the kid had a burger but did not like it because it needed seasoning. I tried a bite and agreed. The fries were crispy. For entrees, the wife and I each had fish tacos: mine, blackened; hers, grilled, Mine were much better. Both were tasty and hit the spot. For $19, it was reasonable. I would order them again. Service was very attentive and friendly. They automatically add 20% tip to the bill, plus 4% for credit cards. So you don't have add any tip unless you want to. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the restaurant and the relaxed atmosphere. read more

The waitresses were great and provided friendly service throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food quality did not match the service. I ordered the shrimp tacos, and the food tasted like it may have been frozen and reheated in the microwave. The jerk chicken also did not taste authentic -- it seemed like regular barbecue sauce was poured straight from the bottle over chicken. This little hidden gem in sapphire village is fabulous. An open air restaurant with major island vibes. The service was great. The food was so tasty. I had blackened wahoo fish tacos and they were so delicious! The art work hanging in the restaurant is really pretty and creative. They do add 20% gratuity to the bill. Sudi's was highly recommended in a Facebook group so my husband & I decided to check it out. I had the fish and chips and my husband had a Reuben sandwich & we shared the mussels. Let me tell you the food did not disappoint!! I wanted to go back just for the mussels. We did end up going back on Sunday but the menu on Sundays is actually different than their weekday menu. We did not want BBQ that day so we shared mozzarella sticks & shrimp potstickers. (This was totally a personal preference of the day so do not be discouraged, we heard great things of their BBQ menu as well!) We stumbled upon this spot since it was right by our condo, and it ended up being such a convenient find. The staff was friendly and the service was really good each time we went. They offer a $10 breakfast, which is honestly an impressive deal in St. Thomas where everything tends to be expensive. We also had dinner there one night, and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. I love this place! I've been a few times and wanted to give a shoutout to Stephanie and Christian. I stopped in for breakfast right before a rush of wedding guests came in, and then some older guy started "helping out". He basically never greeted me nor acknowledged me and yelled at Stephanie from behind the bar "did you close this ticket" motioning to me. I had only just arrived and barely got my food. He didn't ask me if I was done or even said hi. I felt it very rude. The other staff is great and very friendly and the breakfast burrito I got was really good. read more

We ate here three different times while staying at Pools and pavilions, an easy walk away. We had the mahi mahi sandwich and tacos, jerk chicken nachos, and breakfast burritos. Every time the food was delicious. Prices are typical for Red Hook. All wait staff were attentive and friendly. Dining is open air pool side. Wear bug spray. I forgot the morning we ate and was eaten alive. They have a resident artist whose paintings were very tempting to purchase! We just spent too much in other things and now I regret not buying at least a small painting. Happy hour from 4-6 with buy one get one well drinks. read more

Late post - I was in St Thomas in April 2025 and this East Islamd cafe restaurant was a staple. An affordable great breakfast with good coffee. Afternoon HH drinks with Caribbean staples- ditch your overpriced hotel food & make your way to Sudi's by the pool. Staff are kind and laid back. The Mahi tacos are not to be missed. It's super casual with indoor & outsoor tables. It was an appreciated go to place while staying in the condo complex. I highly recommend! read more

Had 3 breakfasts and one lunch at Sudi's! We loved the $10 breakfast and had to repeat it a couple times on our first visit to St. Thomas. We were staying at the Sapphire beach so it was a quick walk to a lovely low key spot. The restaurant was clean, cool, and a bunch of art to look at. My boring self ordered the same thing each day: scrambled eggs with cheese in a burrito with bacon on the side. It also came with a perfectly crispy hash brown and some salsa that I couldn't get enough of. Service was excellent and we will definitely come back when we are in town. It was the perfect start to our island vacation days. Honestly...already missing it! read more

Went here for a quick lunch before I ventured out to St John for the afternoon. It was a cute place with a nice, warm, friendly vibe. It's located right inside the sapphire resort (you have to go through security gate to park your car). I had the mozzarella sticks and the fish and chips. It was nothing particularly special--food was overall solid. The fish and chips were a bit on the oily side, which says a lot coming from me as I unfortunately eat a lot of fried foods haha. I probably wouldn't seek this place out if I weren't in the area/staying at Sapphire. read more

Everything we ate was good: jalapeño poppers, grilled cheese, side salad, and shrimp quesadilla. I want their ranch recipe it was delicious. I think the poppers are frozen not fresh because ours were still a bit cold when delivered. Great interior deco, we loved to see all the art and collections on the walls! Our waitress was very nice and quick + helpful to get us anything we needed. Caesar salad was disappointing, and we were sad there was no dessert options. However the shrimp tacos, penne alfredo, and honey BBQ wings were absolutely BOMB, and portions were pretty decent for pricing as well. We gave Sudi's a couple tries. We wanted it to be good so we gave it two separate tries. First try bc we wanted fish. Sadly it was tasteless. Even had not so tasty dessert. So we came back and had fish and chips. Portion was good but don't know if they just don't know how to season or what? Might have just come in on a bad day. Not sure. But need spices. We were in the VI and it was surprisingly tasteless food!!!! Portions were decent. And location was good. And service was decent and quick. If they could season and prepare their food better - it would lift this reviews stars! Just tasteless pricey food! Ate the rest of our stay at the beach bar down the way! Genuinely the worst experience with restaurants on this island. Staff are very uncaring because of 20% added gratuity automatically. Waitresses are very disrespectful. Brought food of my own to sit and eat with my friends and was told "this isn't a food court". All staff rushed and rude. read more

We love Sudi's it's quaint and the owners are super friendly. Can't beat the $10 breakfast and bottomless mimosas and bloody's! There is art work for purchase hung all over the walls which is fun and I've even bought a few pieces! We let the kids play in the pool right out front and it kept them happy and occupied. We had two meals here while on vacation recently. The staff was really friendly. The menu had a good variety for everyone in our family. The portions were excellent. They sell local artists work there. So many great pieces to look at while we were there. The view is not the best, but we still felt the ocean breeze. That made the open air dining more enjoyable. I had just gotten off a 5 day Boy Scouts sailing adventure. While we ate great on the ship, it was so nice to sit down in a restaurant and get a reasonably priced meal that was hot and fresh and delish. I got the cheesesteak and fries. Cheese steak was chopped and had nice peppers and onions on a great roll. The scouts got chicken fingers or burgers. All was great. Staff is superfriendly and the bathroom has a lovely mural painted by a local artist. Great place to go. read more

Don't call it jerk chicken. Nothing on that chicken is jerk sauce. It's not even roasted. Seems baked with a sauce (mystery) or braised. Total disappointment. Liquor pours are on point tho and atmosphere is good.breakfast is really good. read more
