I'm a BBD no silly Bougie Beer Drinker! I called ahead of time, because I couldn't see the beer menu, and I didn't want to waste our time. I asked if they had a triple or a quad. He said they had a triple, and something else. Ok cool. We get there, and I'm sorry, I can't remember the bartenders name, it started with a "S" I went straight to the bar and ordered the triple, he said, oh you called not long ago, I said yes. Then Jesus came to the bar, he's the waiter, and we were talking about the beer. They said, oh if you like that, you might like this, they poured me a sample, and I loved it. The Jesus said, so we have another one, it wasn't meant to be want it turned out to be, but it turned out great. That one was my favorite one. So, the vibe we loved it as soon as we stepped in the bar, they were super friendly. I said, I want 1 of each, lol (Don't judge me) Not all at once, they were so good. I also got the chicken skewer, it came on Lavish bread, with some veggies. Quite expensive for that, maybe they could add some fries to it. I really wanted to like this place. The space is super cool, with indoor, patio, and outdoor areas. Cool vibe and fun decor. The beer selection is good, and our waitress invited me to try two so I could pick one I liked. Unfortunately the food situation was terrible. I ordered a pretzel and it came out obviously overcooked (not sure how the chef or waitress ever let it get to the table). I gave it the old college try, but only about two bites of it were even soft enough to eat. The rest was hard as a rock. Unfortunately our waitress also disappeared at that point so could never explain the situation. When she did reappear with the bill, I told her why I still had a full plate, but she just charged my card without any apology or explanation. They have so many different kinds of beer and the guy behind the counter lets you try to decide which one you want. It was a difficult decision to make. To my surprise, when I checked my bank statement, I saw that they stole $10 by adding a tip WITHOUT my authorization. This is outright THEFT and completely unethical. The venue is quite large. We went on a night that was not too busy. There is plenty of seating that is covered as well as more open air spots. They do have live music and there is a cover for it. I read a few reviews beforehand warning about the cover. So, it was expected when I received the bill. But, the establishment should really post that there is a cover somewhere. I can understand someone getting upset because of the lack of notice. So, word to the wise. We ordered a couple of nice German brews. They have a ton of taps and they fill the beer in plastic bottles and serve it at your table. Different. Interesting. They also have wine and cocktails for your non beer drinking friends and family. We ordered the pretzel to start which I thought was a little plain. It did come with some dipping mustard though. I had the chicken kebab which was pretty good and my wife ordered the pork kebab which was definitely better. The vibe of the place is pretty cool. We did enjoy the band that nice. They played mostly classic rock which ignited some old memories. Service could have been a bit better. It seems that the waitstaff are either too preoccupied or are challenged when attempting to multitask. All-in-all we had a nice time. read more

I absolutely love the energy of this place! For a little brunch option it was rather empty however, servers were polite and attentive. I came with my mother for a quick brunch option and it blew my socks off. My mom recommended to come here and I am impressed at the quality of the food. They had a lot of beer selections and it caters to quite a selection of liquor preferences. The food was amazing and came out rather quickly. Overall a great price point considering the area. The venue is great, you can sit outdoors and it's really pretty. A good spot to watch a game. However a cheap beer is around $11 for 16oz served out of a plastic bottle. The service is also extremely lacking. Biggest pet peeve - went on a Saturday night and sat outside with TVs. Asked them for turn the channel to lakers / golden state playoff game and got a refusal - since boxing match was on. No live band and still got charged 15% (with no knowledge) for an "entertainment" fee. Just For the boxing being on. In a perfect world, this place would be a wonderful "local" alternative to nearby Tap 42 and Yardhouse. After all, it has the components those places lack: a beautiful setting, live music on some nights, and an expansive selection of beers that you won't find elsewhere. However, where Tap falters is price and service. Service is pedestrian at best and the prices for food and drink are out of line compared to the quality and quantity of product you're receiving. I know it's Aventura so I should expect somewhat higher prices than other South Florida spots, but the prices here exceed Aventura levels and enter Manhattan- and Bay Area-like territory. Worse, depending on the night you go, your receipt may end up looking like your cell phone bill, thanks to all the random fees that appear without warning. I don't want to get down on this place so I'll just leave it at that. This is the type of place where you have a beer and catch a bit of a game before continuing with the rest of your evening elsewhere. On another note, it's extremely wasteful that Tap serves draft beer in disposable plastic bottles. I really hope those service bottles get recycled after use, especially considering that Tap directly borders one of the Miami area's largest, most beautiful parks. read more

Once we were seated it took another 15 minutes for us to be able to put a drink order in and another 20 to put a food order in. The more concerning issues with this place are that we went on a Friday night when they had a live band playing so they tack on 15% to your bill without telling you upfront. We enjoyed the band but I would like to know upfront what I'm going to be charged and not surprised at the end. The real kicker was being charged double what the menu states for the beers we ordered. The menu clearly states $x.xx for a 32 oz beer; however, the server told us it was a misprint - should have been 16 oz- that the owner did not want to fix due to the cost of reprinting the menus! The location and ambiance is great. They have many TV's so games are easily accessible from any point. We came for the Champions League Final game because these people pride themselves on being soccer fans with Club emblems everywhere. We had a reservation and there was no host at the door. We literally stood next to the server while she rung up an order and she completely ignored us. She finally looked up at us and she told us we could sit anywhere inside because outside was full but again...we had a reservation which we mentioned. We were seated at a table held for us and forgotten about for 15 minutes. There was a large table next to us and they completely focused on them the entire time. At the 80th minute we finally managed to flag someone down and not only asked about our food but also the check because we were done at that point. They charged us a 15% credit card/ entertainment fee for a game broadcasted on a local channel. Do not come here unless you are a large party if you even want to be acknowledged. read more
