( NOTE: You don't need to have a PT to be a member. )The environment is very chill. People are respectful. I feel very comfortable at this gym. The other trainers are very nice too. Overall it is a great vibe and once you've been going a while you'll start to feel like part of a community. I also love the fact that I can go whenever I want. There's no attendant and you just use your app to get in, and it's in a safe neighborhood. I highly recommend this gym.

I find myself surprised that she is still able to workout my muscles at new angles and really push me - i love to pushed! I have become more fit and noticed muscles develop that I never had before. What really sets Dara apart from other trainers is that she cares and she listens. She was the first trainer to ever point out that I bend my knees together. In our consultation I mentioned that I wanted to focus on legs and gluts and she never forgot that. She also puts in effort outside of your sessions. If you want her to she will remind you to workout on your days off and follow your nutrition, providing feedback and tips. She's a great trainer, and even knows about nutrition and and healthy eating if you're looking for guidance with that. She always has a positive and encouraging energy with her clients, and will base your sessions around your personal fitness goals. The studio is clean and has everything you need for a great workout, including drinking water and towels. Another great perk is the convenient scheduling system where you can schedule your workouts on the BCT app and even cancel if something comes up. (I hate to cancel though because BCT is my "happy place"). I'm stronger, healthier and happier since joining BCT! I can't recommend Wendy and BCT more highly!!

Training with Merrit at Beach Cities for only four short months has yielded me RESULTS! I lost 6.2% body fat while maintaining my weight. I went from having 24.9% down to just 18.7% body fat! I lost fat, gained lean muscle. I'm ecstatic! Things can only get better from here. When you have a kickass, awesome trainer like I do - you will get better & stronger! Since Sandbox opened in October, I've been coming religiously, getting in great shape, and have met some amazing people. A really kind, judgement-free place I can come to let off some steam, get a good workout in, or recover in the sauna. State of the art equipment, helpful staff, and always clean. I signed the 6 Weeks Challenge everything was really smooth. Then Corbin took my Consultation and he committed with me to help me as well as Tony and José they are amazing couches. They are professional and dedicated to their jobs. If I cant preform an exercise they aske me in a scale how painful it is and they help me with another exercise. And how to forget about Sabrina she is a sweetheart and a giver, she is a hugger and always encourages me. Corbin & Tony knowledge is amazing and super helpful. The place is always clean, weights are always put away, clientele is always for the most part working out, not carrying on with conversations or taking or making their own video production of their workout because they're an influencer, which don't give me wrong they are still here, but they're far a few between the other gyms. They offer ready-made meals, every kind of protein drink that you can come up with along with waters a place to sit and rest so you really can't go wrong with this gym. I purchased guest passes so I could bring my son to experience the gym. Instead of being welcoming or professional, the employee openly expressed that he did not like my son and stated that he would refuse to sell me guest passes in the future. I found this behavior completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Guest passes are offered by the gym as a service to members, and personal opinions about a member's family should never influence whether that service is provided. The employee's comments made both my son and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expect staff to treat all members and guests with respect, regardless of personal feelings. Management should address this issue and ensure employees maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.
