    Me,Kathy, and my plexiglass.

Kathy was so helpful and friendly. The crew cut my plexiglass as I waited (I thought I'd have to order and return)! Kathy gave me great recommendations about businesses in Marin that will help me with my garden (I purchased plexiglass for a garden shed I'm building). This store is a gem!

Excellent selection and staff has great knowledge of plastics. Turnaround time on custom parts and pieces is amazing.

My boyfriend and I found this nice little shop when we were in the area and wanted to see what kind of RC Cars this place had. The guy working there Brian was such a great guy to talk to. They talked about the different types of RC cars there was. There are drift cars, monster trucks, buggies, crawlers... the list goes on. We were in there for maybe an hour or so just talking. Brian was such a gem, that 5 years later we go back and have built a wonderful friendship with him, he had become our older brother. Brian is that type of person who will not just sell you an RC car, but he will sell you one that suits you. If you had a car in mind and he does not have it in stock, he is willing to order it and he will make sure he orders you the best one. Brian also fixes RC cars if something is broken or if you have no idea why it isn't working. He will give you a quote before actually fixing it and if the price is good with you, he will start the fixing processes. He is not the type of sell you useless cars, he tries his best to order the best. He does sell more then just RC cars. Just go check him out and see what he has to offer. He also has model cars that you can build. He has a few trains and tracks. He has a lot of paints for the models and other things. Brian is great.

It truly feels like a store with something for all ages and experience levels. As a fan of D&D and other TTRPGs, I was happy to see plenty of resources available. Warhammer fans will also find a massive selection of miniatures one of the largest I've personally seen along with a staff that clearly cares about the hobby. There's also a strong selection of card games, including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and Riftbound. Overall, the selection is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. I had genuinely great experiences with the team there. They were helpful, open, and willing to guide me through the store and explain events. The only reason I'm rating my experience a bit lower is because one of the events I attended felt less welcoming to newer players. It seemed like about half the group was made up of very experienced players who were playing to win at a pretty intense level, while the other half included younger players who were just excited to participate, along with people like myself who were still learning and trying to navigate the hobby. As a newer player, the environment felt a little intimidating and discouraging at times. That said, I would still recommend Gamescape North to anyone in the area looking to shop, explore the hobby, or connect with a great staff. I'd just advise newer players to ask questions before jumping into an event blindly, so they can better understand the tone and experience level of the group. I hope to try again in the future and have a better experience.

Staff members are knowledgeable about the products and rules of various games and are happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have. They can also give you good recommendations if you're looking for gifts for others. They pack a surprisingly large inventory into the shop. I love walking by and checking out their cute window displays- they had some beautiful Aura editions of Monopoly and Scrabble in the window last night. They also have a great selection of D&D books, minis, paints, and more. Between the product selection and customer service, I highly recommend stopping by Gamescape for a pleasant shopping experience.

She is now a retired Purser for a major US airline, and that plaque was just perfect for her retirement party. At first, the sign was showing not available on their website. A quick call to Nancy there at Tailwinds solved that problem (computer glitch), and the follow-on ordering was super easy! A few days later, Nancy called me back and said that the manufacturer suggested a slightly different formatting of the lower personalization plate (where the airline name and dates of service are printed.) I accepted that slight tweak, and in just a few days, the completed plaque was sent directly to my brother (so he could wrap it up for the pending party.) My sister-in-law LOVES the plaque, and it is now proudly displayed in her home office (along with all of my brother's USMC plaques from the '80s.) In fact, all of her fellow flight attendants just had to know where she got that sign from, so I quickly provided them a link to the Tailwinds.com website. Just some great products and excellent customer service! Thanks, Tailwinds, and Nancy!

It almost seems as if you are going to the wrong place because it's close to the prison and it looks like the COs park there but this is where you park for the gift shop. Quite a beautiful view of the bay. In the gift shop there is no photography allowed or even bags as I recall. Everything is cash only which I'm glad I read about beforehand since I pay debit card for everything. There are some nice paintings that are surprisingly good. Most range from $20-100 so keep that in mind again with the cash to make sure you have enough if you like something. Other than the paintings everything else was meh. The inmates making the crafts have limited means as to what they can create so it's not surprising but just keep that in mind if you envisioned a craft store with lots of quality stuff; it's more a random assortment of kitchy knick nacks. I would recommend doing the prison museum afterwards since you are already there but that's another thing you have to coordinate with the times because it has limited hours as well. This is more of a 3 star place to me since you have to pay cash, the hours are extremely limited, and the products are so-so but I gave it 4 stars since it has a lot of character and I appreciate anything that is offbeat and unique.

The artwork isn't THAT impressive (think high school art students), but considering the limited materials that inmates have access to, it's not bad and definitely makes for a strange and somewhat unique item to own if you decide to purchase. Most items are $20 and above, but there are some cheaper items around $5-10 such as postcards or wooden mugs. There are some best-seller items here, but I won't tell which ones ;)
