Can't even give them a star. I was quoted $40 over 3 times. I heckled my bank account and they charged me $65. Went back into the store the next day and they of course changed the prices on me. Their online prices do not match up to what they quote you in the store. Online a pedicure is $12 and acrylic or gel nails range from $30-$40. Still doesn't add up to $65. Now i have to go through my bank to dispute this transaction. And on top of that, the nails do NOT look good for them to charge $65 for their services. I went in for an eyebrow cleanup ended up without an eyebrow!!!! ( half of one of them is gone) im so dissapointed , i will never be back. The eyebrow waxing is $8 ( cash) , ended up having to tip $5 dollar for a horrible job because i only had my card. I usually thread but dont have anytime to go to my usual eyebrow lady anymore. My friend took me to get my nails done as a birthday present and cuz my nail bed isn't really that strong since i always have nails he made my nails short and when I told him not to he kept cutting saying that's the best thing for me acting like I don't have a nail tech that I go see and makes my nails whatever length I want and wouldn't let me shape them cuz it would break. My friend spend 25 on just a full set that by the end he told me I could leave just so when I got him my nail would get ruined because is wasn't dry. I'm really torn about this place. On one hand the quality of anything you get done is amazing but on the other hand the staff is very rude. This is the only place I go to for my nails because of the quality and their cheap prices but I always have to brace myself for the horrible employees. Whenever you say no to getting something extra they instantly get an attitude. Today I went in to get my acrylics removed after constantly having fake nails for over a year. It was time for me to take a break from it and the moment I told the guy doing my nails, he was not happy. He kept telling me to get a refill and I kept saying no. I even told him that it's temporary and that still wasn't enough for him. He even looked at the woman that works there sitting next to him and said while laughing "She doesn't want fake nail anymore haha." I have found that in all my years of getting manicures they the all have come out the same and relatively OK. I discovered Tappers and I never realized my nails could look so good. I have been biting my nails my whole life and get them done just to clean up the mess. The color section is one of the worst I have seen which includes Sinful brand nail polish ($1.99 cheap polish you can buy anywhere). The decor looks like a weird medical office. The techs only talked amongst themselves. The lady I had was very rough with cutting the cuticles and unpleasantly rough with the massage. Outcome was an okay paint job but I could have painted my nails at home better. read more
