For me, it was a little on the spicy side, but my husband thought it was the perfect amount of heat. My only word of caution is use the shoulder or chuck roast it recommends. I didn't have either of those at home, but I did have a 3.5 hunk of London broil, so I used that. I had to keep it in the crock pot for an extra 2 hours to get the meat tender, but it was worth it. I also failed on the corn tortillas, didn't have any, so we made quesadillas with flour tortillas and ate the birria on the side. Still super delicious.

I seems to me... that...This person is just, "not going to enjoy" the place that was picked, no matter how good it is. There! I said it.
