I miss West Side Gyro but I am very pleased by the place that replaced it. Their salsa is amazing and worth the trip alone. It's made fresh and so are the chips. I like how bite size they are compared to normal chips. I've only had steak related items here but it's always been amazing. And they do not skimp on the amount of steak you get with your entree. My tacos are always overflowing. The service has been great and the atmosphere is pretty standard. The prices are a bit higher than expected but not way out of range. I hope they have staying power. This is the best place for tostadas and tacos in Aurora! The steak is well marinated and cut into small pieces easy to eat. The chicken is well seasoned. The service is always fast and friendly. There's always music playing in the background and it's well lit inside so it's easy to see the menus. They have an expanded menu over the weekends to include menudo and pazole. read more

Tried this restaurant due to the scores given...boy are the scores wrong. Cons: Tried Flautas (over cook chicken), Steak, Pastor, and Chorizo Tacos...I believe all meats were old and warmed up. Very good! I heard of Taqueria Aurora, and was advised to choose them. This place was very authentic, had an old school Abuelita feel to it. I saw nothing but women working. The staff was so friendly, and it all smelled great. The menu had massive shrimp options. They forgot one of my tacos, but really enjoyed everything. Will be back! read more

The doors open at 8:00 A.M. and anything on the menu is available including several homemade soup options to cure "that night before" or a Shrimp Cocktail for those who enjoy a little something extra! Menudo and Pozole are only available on weekends when it counts the most! The Al Pastor Burrito was a welcomed spicy kick-in-the pants filled to the brim with tasty marinated pork. Average tacos, decent salsa not spectacular but above average. Horchata was delicious that was my favorite.

I am very picky about Mexican food, but this place always exceeds my expectations, the service is excellent, the place is always clean and the food tastes like authentic Mexican food, we ordered asada sope, tacos and torta, it was the first time I had the (tortilla) sope deep fried , and it was just so delicious. The food at Taqueria Arceo is very tasty. They are extremely efficient in getting your order and having your food out on the table within 10 minutes. Went here the first time tonight. Worst food ever. First off they got our order wrong. Food was over cooked and no flavor. Rice had hard pieces in it. Meat was so over cooked it was like jerky. I mistakenly avoided this place just for looks of it from the outside, however looks can be deceiving at times, my wife and I finally decided to check this place out and we are so glad we did, we tried their sopes, tacos and tostadas and everything was so delicious, the salsa selection was great, not too hot, the restaurant was clean and inviting, the servers were very nice and happy we were there, they also have a great menu for caldos, definitely my new spot for great mexican food in Aurora. read more

Probally the worst customer service. Screwed up my order and then told me to bring the old food in like a prisoner exchange to get the food I actually ordered for the food I was given. No apology for screwing up my order, nothing just " give me the old food here's what you really ordered." By the way I order 3 tacos on flour tortillas. Got 3 tacos on corn which I can not eat. I had to take over an hour to get my food because I drove home and had to drive back to get my food that I actually wanted then they treated me like I was trying to get food for free. Terrible service. By the way if you call, ask to speak to someone who speaks English they answer the phone in Spanish and clearly don't speak any English to understand the difference between FLOUR AND CORN. It looks like the staff enjoy working with each other. They danced and had plenty of laugher with each other and other customers. This made our visit seem as if we were family members that were visiting for lunch. The tacos have the greatest tortillas and they aren't stingy with the meat in your taco. Their salsas were not my favorite. Although they were all perfectly spicy, they lacked the blast of flavors from its various components. Great service. Great food.
