I love this taco spot!! its local and i've been coming here for YEARS since I was in high school and I am now 24. all my visits have always been welcoming and met with a delicious greasy filling meal. their meat is always cooked perfect! I didn't really like their location by the mcdonald's so now that they've moved in front of the dominos/gas station parking should definitely be better! can't wait to be back sometime soon for some of those delicioussss tacos! read more

Found this place while trying to kill time before I pick someone up at the airport. Very good flavor on the tacos, I got fajita and pastor, great salsa, and overall very good experience. So, this the first time here for me. Took me a while to find it, driving around and around past it. Turns out it's a food truck, south parking lot of 1960 Automotive, across from a strip center with a MacDonalds, in case. ... Seriously, no need for backup restaurant if you don't mind eating in the car or taking it back to office or home. I had a large and filling burrito, fresh flaky tortilla with simple pulled meat, refried beans, lettuce, and maybe something else. I'm not sure because my eyes were closed in pleasure. Taqueria Brisa succeeded on my first visit because it made a simple dish very well. The flavors reminded me of home cooking, when my friends came over for Mom's dishes even when I was in class. I will be back to try other things. Not sure if this is new, maybe 2-3 years old, but I hope it succeeds and stays, or moves closer to my office in Spring. read more

I started going regularly to this taco stand because they have amazing tacos al pastor. The prices were decent until they increased the price on each taco by a whole dollar. They're tacos are good but that that good for the price. Avoid the fajita and stick to the pastor if you do come here. I'll still come here once every quarter year. read more

This is my favorite taco truck in the entire city. I've been coming here since I was 10 years old and I continue to after they moved location recently. It's my first stop when I visit home. My typical order is two lengua tacos and a small al pastor quesadilla with an horchata. The horchata is perfect and sweet and the salsa they give with the tacos is perfection. The lengua is always tender and the al pastor is bursting with flavor. I took my boyfriend from New England recently, we've been back home for several weeks and he has not stopped talking about "those tacos from the taco truck in Texas." This place is close to our new place so we decided to try after reading the reviews. It's $1.50 for any corn tortilla taco and $2 for flour tortilla tacos. Seemed kinda expensive only because we prefer flour and it was $2 a taco for little mini tacos. The stand in humble is $1 a taco flour or corn and we think that place is better. The flavor was decent but we thought because of the reviews it would live up to the hype. We were a little disappointed. The quesadilla was big but wasn't as flavorful we got the beef. We got 6 tacos and a quesadilla for $20.50 seemed expensive. The salsa is 5 stars it was really good but that was about it. Great tasting food and okay service (reason i didn't give them a 5 star) used to come here pretty often before price increase and the service was A1. The last two times I visited (within A week ) they didn't give me my free onion and jalapeños. Also when ordering my Gordita, I used to order it and would tell them to put everything in it, and they would, however the past two times they just gave me a plain gordita with the meat and cheese and not filled with the lettuce, avocado and tomatoes like before when asking for everything added in it. The bright red meals on wheels is located on Aldine Westfield just past Mc Donalds. This taqueria has some grub that'll make this your go to spot for a cheap, fast, and authentic Mexican food.
