    Taquerias Cuauhtemoc Truck
    Miriam A.

One of the things that attracted me to Taqueria Cuauhtémoc is that there is always a line of people waiting, which is typically a good sign the taco stand is good. I also love the branding of the iconic Mexican masked wrestlers! I ordered a taco de cabeza (cows head) and a pambazo. The taco meat was very tender and typically what I expect for a cabeza taco. The pambazo is like a torta sandwich but fried and smothered in red chile sauce. The pambazo was ok I was expecting beans and avocado in it, and I think chicken instead of chorizo would've been better. Therefore, next time I'll just stick to tacos. The service took about 30 minutes which is a bummer for a taco truck because authentic Mexican taqueros take like 2 minutes to complete your order :) The setup is different too, there's a server that takes your order from outside of the truck, so you actually don't see anyone from the inside of the truck. The major plus though is that they take credit cards! Overall, I'll give it another shot and try the rest of the tacos on the menu.

Pretty good Tacos. And very nice curb side service even though we took it home. Accepting credit cards is a big plus.

Tacos were perfect. Services was excellent. Late night pull up well lit and safe. Right on Fry Road across from Jack in the box.

Tacos Asada (let me tell you about the asada, tender and flavorful, you can tell they have better quality meat vs other spots around the H) 2. Torta Asada (underrated IMO, cheese grilled to the bread, topped with guac onions cilantro salsa, the kids love this) 3. Chicken Quesadilla (regular order is very big, comes with side of guac, the kids love this) Green sauce is a great addition, not too spicy but good overall flavor. Other table sauces good too. They bring fresh chicharrones to the table! Friendly staff that makes sure your order is right. Lines can be long during peak hours.

After a few seconds, I turned around and saw even more people lined up after us. Line was never ending. So when you come, do expect some wait time due to the amount of orders. I only got one taco because I wasn't too hungry and I enjoyed it. They didn't skimp on the filling either. It was flavorful and had a kick to it-- right amount of spice for me. My friends all got something different and they all liked what they ordered. I'll definitely come back to try the other tacos and quesadillas.

Since it was my first time here, I ended up ordering 1 chorizo and 1 asada taco, churros, limon aguas, and my friend got the asada taco as well and a hortchata! Since it was super busy (especially on saturday night) it was about a 30 minute wait foe our food but it was well worth it! They hand out free chicharrones and they were super crunchy and a nice snack while we waited for our food. The limon aguas was super refreshing especially in the summer heat and the horchata was really good! We sat at the counter top that overlooks the kitchen. I love that the open kitchen concept so you can see them making your food right in front of you! Everything smelled so good so I was excited for my food. I love that they give radishes, cucumbers, and plenty of limes on the side. I definitely love all of the toppings and the more the better! I tried all of the salsas and the salsa de chile de arbol was by far my favorite! super spicy but had so much flavor. The chorizo was good but a little dry for my liking. I did just want to try it so I can try more than one flavor but I think I would get it again as a breakfast taco with egg instead. The asada was my favorite of the two so much flavor and plenty of meat! I was content with these 2 tacos but I could have definitely eaten more if we didn't order churros as well! The churros came with classic condensed milk and dulce de leche which is just carmelized condensed milk. The churros were crunchy and warm on the outside and had a chewy texture like mochi on the inside! Super yummy and not too sweet! I liked both sauces and would definitely get this again. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be craving the tacos until the next time I can come back! I can't wait to try a lot of their other menu items as well. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, my experience yesterday was so unacceptable that I will never return. When placing my order, the employee taking my order appeared intoxicated. His eyes were drooping and closing, he repeatedly paused, mumbled, and seemed to struggle entering my order. Although this was concerning, I chose to overlook it and waited patiently. After about 10 minutes, I simply returned to ask whether my order had been placed and if it was ready. I was not upset, in a hurry, or complaining. I only wanted confirmation that my order existed because the employee kept responding, "No orders, no orders," despite me showing him my receipt. Due to an apparent language barrier, I called my Hispanic husband and handed the employee my phone so he could ask the same simple question in Spanish. Instead of helping, the employee began yelling at my husband. Another employee joined in, and both started yelling while walking away with my phone. When the phone was returned, I still had no idea what had happened or whether my order was being prepared. The situation escalated for no reason. The employees began yelling at me, aggressively slammed the service windows shut, ignored me, and treated me as if I had done something wrong. I remained calm throughout the entire interaction and repeatedly stated that there was no problem--I simply wanted to know if my order had been placed. Eventually, the food was thrown together carelessly, shoved into a bag, and handed to me with obvious hostility. The food quality was terrible, and the customer service was even worse. What disappointed me most was that this entire situation was completely unnecessary. I was respectful, patient, and simply asking a basic question. The combination of an employee who appeared intoxicated, the aggressive and unprofessional behavior from both employees, and the poor quality of the food made this one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.

I've gotten the food here a few times over the last few years but the service my wife received today was ridiculous and unprofessional. Antonio was present and can vouch for what happened. My wife approached, looked at the menu, and called for my order. At that time the man in the truck pulled the tip jar in behind the window and then moved away from the window when my wife tried to order. Another person (antonio) had to take my wife's order. Bad enough. After she ordered and went to wait in the car a hispanic young man arrived, the same guy put the tip jar back out and took his order with no issue. We won't be back. We go out of our way to support food trucks and the birria ramen is good enough. The guys in the truck are even fighting, slamming items, and throwing things at each other in front of customers. This is at 3:20 PM on June 16th. One of the guys is/was bleeding and this is just a bad day all around. The food is good, the meat is always savory and juicy. Really depends on who you get cooking. Either way I don't appreciate how my wife was treated and I want to believe this was just a bad day. Things to consider. Good atmosphere and solid food truck experience.

The lady at the food truck was very friendly and explained what some of the dishes came with. I can see people ordering at least 5 tacos at a time lol. I had the fajita/chicken mix plate and it certainly hit the spot. They are open until 2AM on Saturdays so I can see how this place would be popping. It's got great vibes with outdoor picnic tables and heaters as well as a covered seating area. I'm glad we decided to come here and enjoy some street tacos, food truck eats are nothing to play with.
