The fries were thick-cut, seasoned just right, and cooked to perfection. And the lamb? Incredible. You could really taste that authentic grilled flavor, but what stood out most was the seasoning--it was bold, balanced, and just flat-out delicious. On top of the food, the experience made it even better. The owner personally brought my food out, set everything up nicely with real utensils (not plastic), and even took a moment to chat. I have been here a couple times before. Pretty good spot for pitas. Plenty of parking in front. Sitting inside and sometimes they have a couple of tables outside when the weather is nice. Prices are average and food pretty flavorful. I have to say, the French fries are seasoned well. My wife had the Pita special, comprise of a pita with seasoned fries and a drink. I had a Pita plate which I ordered with lamb meat, you can also order it with chicken or a combination of both for an additional charge. The plate comes with a side of hummus, pita bread, rice and small salad. Didn't really care too much for the rice, it was dry, but everything else tasted good. I eat here every time I pass by at mealtime. So a few times a year. My favorite is the Greek salad with lamb gyro meat. Extremely generous portion, and very reasonable price. My wife prefers a lamb gyro sandwich. The fries are also very good. The place is small, but clean. My only beef is that they are slow to get the food out. read more

I deliver with Uber Eats, and today I picked up an order from this restaurant under the ghost restaurant name of Mediterranean Palace at 4:49. The individual that came to the front, looked confused at first, then went to the back to find the order. It took somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes (I really wasn't watching the time too much) and he came out with 1 bag and passed it over to me. I regularly ask a simple "Is this everything? " with each order I pick up, and was told that it was complete (I won't inspect someone's food because of sanitary reasons). After I delivered the order, the customer called me asking where the rest of their order was. They had already called the restaurant and was told that there were 2 bags, so I must still have the other. Because of the missing food, the customer reduced the tip to 0 and rated me negatively for a problem this restaurant caused. I strongly encourage anyone who delivers to avoid Pita Kebob, or their ghost restaurant Mediterranean Palace unless you want to risk your rating, or more importantly, your money. Additionally, if you want to order food from here, please do not use any delivery services from this location, or you will risk missing items, and the restaurant will not admit they were at fault. There is literally nothing this restaurant can do to change my mind. If I were the owner, I would not want anyone that is dishonest and lacks integrity working for me, so I am informing you of a problem to fix. I'm seldom really critical about a small business, but my experience with Pita Kebab was significantly below expectations. Greek salad is pretty easy. But when you deliver unwashed lettuce with grit, that's pretty bad. Then put a sprinkling of diced tomato and cucumber, no onion, and the merest suggestion of feta cheese, no olives, no peppers (bell or banana) and no dressing, you get a perfect disaster. Ask for gyro meat, they give you a small foil wrapped packet of gyro meat scraps. The spanakopita (spinach and feta in phyllo) was a soggy mess. Service was take out. There is no ambiance to speak of. I simply cannot recommend that anyone spend their money on this. It needs a complete overhaul. read more

Will never be back. I am legitimately upset at the money I paid for this terrible, inauthentic, flavorless food. I can never get that hard earned money back, I had to throw this food away and make myself something else at home. The chicken "kebab" was not even kebab, it was sliced up flavorless dry little tiny pieces of shredded chicken, the rice tasted like dirty water, and the Parmesan bread was a cheaply done, horrible joke. Hummus was garlicky and down right awesome! The cheesy garlic pita was a total surprise in how it looked and how it tasted, you will not be disappointed. How can chicken tenders be anything special? That's what I said. Super crispy fries which I love and the tenders are definitely made in house. No way around it. Packed with flavor and seasoned so well, I ate them with no dipping sauce. Falafel.....who doesn't love a falafel?! Crunchy and well seasoned! Mix that with tiziki sauce, fresh veggies it was lighter fare and very satisfying. Sometimes I think ordering from grubhub or doordash isn't fair to the restaurant. However, we're in a pandemic and I just moved to Ruskin and wanted kabobs and this popped up on my doordash. This restaurant is known as Bob's Kebobs on doordash. Unless there are two kebob places at the same address. The food was good. I would have given them 4 stars however the amount I spent for the portions I received doesn't match up! Doordash adds $1+ to every menu item at all their restaurants. Then they add delivery, fee fee, fee for looking, fee for tax, and tax. Ok you get it. About $20 in fees if you don't have a dash pass. My aunt ordered a greek salad. $7.99 it came in the small styrofoam square container the same size as my $3.99 greek french fries. A dinner salad should be in a dinner-size container not in a side item container. She got half a salad. I ordered steak kebobs. Which are no longer on the doordash menu. I had 4 cubes of steak on a bed of rice for $15.99 Not even on a stick. Isn't kebobs on a skewer? Anyways. Got there 15-20 minutes after the pick up time to make sure no wait (got some groceries right before). Nothings there. Made the claim he gave the only pick up order to the wrong person. This is a good spot for a quick meal, either delivered or for pick-up. The food is satisfying enough. The lamb is always soft and delicious. But for some reason the beef has almost always come out chewy and tough for my taste. My kids thought the same. Didn't like the hummus one time I ordered it and never ordered it since.
