For a basic taqueria this place rocks. Lunch specials. Breakfast options. Friendly service. Fresh salsas. Two uncooked fresh one cooked. Fresh drinks. Every meal grilled up on order. This is a clean and top quality option.

fresh & authentic & dairy-free horchata made from ground rice every morning

The register & order taking lady was very friendly. She explained everything that comes inside the Barbacoa Burrito (meat, beans, rice) & offered extras. She also described how the Horchata is made from scratch every morning from ground rice & is dairy free. The Horchata was delicious ! It's so rare to be able to buy authentic horchata without the powder or milk added. The burrito was amazing as well ! The barbacoa was so tender & juicy. There was also a salsa bar with various green, red, and pico toppings. The location seems slightly sketch being next to a convenience store & laundromat, but I felt very safe. My food was also served very quickly for a take-out orderdespite many people being at the restaurant. This family-owned Mexican restaurant is one of the best I have been to in the DFW area. I will definitely be coming back when I am in this area!

Tbh I was skeptical about this place because of the reviews. I ended up getting a bacon, egg & potato breakfast burrito and it was delicious! Honestly it tasted homemade! The eggs tasted fresh and the bacon was thick. Both of the salsa's had great flavor.

Great service and very friendly staff. We ordered the Friday special - sopa de marisco. Full of shrimp, fish, carrots, rice, and potatoes. The lady recommended their chicken, it looked really beautifully prepared. Glad they are so close in the neighborhood.

I've come here a couple of times and to be honest I'm just not impressed. It was a convenient stop because it's close to home, but both times I was overwhelmed. I've only tried their carne asada and barbacoa street tacos. I guess you can say they're TRYING to be safe during COVID. They have the condiments individually packaged in containers that you can grab on your way out or while dining in, buuuuut the meats are uncovered behind the glass, buffet style. I tried the Jamaica but it was more of an artificial flavored mix. I like the real deal. The dining area is spacious with plenty of seating, but I rarely see people dining in. Probably not coming back, I don't think the 3rd time will be the charm.

The breakfast burritos and tacos here are excellent! Your food is prepared right in front of you and the service is always friendly and prompt. The restaurant is always clean and the food is fresh and tastes great. The breakfast burritos are filling and seasoned perfectly. Their homemade salsas are the icing on the cake! Their street tacos are also excellent and the meat is tender and delicious. If you're ever in the area, I recommend you give this hidden gem a try. You won't regret it

This is definitely one of the better taco spots I've been to in DFW. Prices are very reasonable and quality of the food is good for what you're paying for. The people here are friendly and they seem to have a reasonable stream of business during the usual eating hours for lunch despite being hidden away from the main highway. The salsas are spicy and delicious. I tried the red and the green, not knowing which one was spicier. Turns out both were packing heat. The establishment is very straightforward, you order the food you want and pick it up then dress it with whatever sauces and accoutrements you'd like from their small station to the right of the food pickup area. Al Pastor Tacos - Tacos were simple and delicious. The al pastor wasn't too dry and the corn tortillas were tasty. Carne Asada Tacos - The carne asada was cooked through yet still had some juice to it. Very tasty. All in all, a great place to get a quick bite to eat at a very reasonable price. Solid tacos and sauces to go along with it. Friendly staff and quick service.

    The best cokes!

They aren't as huge as some places, but they definitely aren't small by any means. If anything, they are portioned just right. What I love is the ingredients don't rely too much on "filler" ingredients and are balanced well. If you order a carne asada burrito, you'll get a good portion of not overly cooked meat. Pricing is roughly what you should come to expect as well. The cons (and reason it's not at least a 4 star) are primarily due to their salsa/hot sauces. While I'm happy they included 3 different and decent sized servings, they are all pretty spicy and you get no reprieve trying to switch things up - and this is coming from someone that loves spice. In my opinion it overpowers the food. Just fixing the spice level would take this to a 4 star rating for me. Would I eat here again? Yes, which is usually when I've forgotten how spicy their sauces are :)

The chicken was tender also. I'll return to try more items again as it's almost great patio weather. It looked inviting and had an open style patio.

I ordered the taco plate with 3 carne asada tacos and my son got the same with chicken. We got them the traditional way with onions and cilantro. The meat was cooked perfectly and there was no gristle or fat on it. I also appreciated that the onions were grilled, which gives the tacos a richer flavor. The only meh item was the beans which lacked any flavor and were pretty thin. They brought fresh chips and salsa while we waited and generously refilled it after our entrees arrived. I don't know if they offer full service now because I didn't see anyone go to the cashier to pay. I asked for the check and it was brought to the table. The interior of the restaurant is very traditionally Mexican. The ambiance is more taqueria than sit down restaurant. The booths are comfortable, but worn. The place is a bit dingy, which didn't bother me. I will definitely be bringing the rest of my family here for an inexpensive and tasty meal.
