Absolutely the worst fish tacos in Aloha. Why do taco shops in Oregon continue to make Fish tacos with iceberg lettuce- and in the case of el Gordo- unwashed iceberg lettuce. It's not like Oregon doesn't know what a fish taco is- up to a few years ago they were fine- batter fried fish, cabbage, onions, cilantro on a yellow corn tortilla and some creamy spicy sauce. Tried this place out because our normal Mexican restaurant was closed today was pleasantly surprised. The campechano burrito was very good except it had too much rice and beans for my liking. I didn't quite get enough meat but the flavor of the meat was prominent enough to make it work sorta. The Al pastor taco was very good and loaded with extra onion like requested. Not sure how the pricing worked but 1 burrito and 3 tacos and 1 sope was quite a bit more than expected. Overall we will definitely come here again. read more

Well, the quick Grubhub service was excellent but the food had no flavor. I was very excited to try this place. I had the taco plate and it mainly tasted of just the tortilla. No flavor to the meat. The beans had some melted cheese but were bland and the rice was not flavorful at all. I was left very disappointed . Had high hopes especially in the flavor and spices. They taste and look like Costco chips with fake cheese plus it came with no beans. For what I paid I could have gone to 7-11 and pay way less. These are some of the best Al Pastor tacos that I have had around town. The meat was juicy and flavorful and moist. The tacos had bits of grilled pineapple and it just makes my mouth water thinking about how good these are. They have a variety of hot sauces: avacado, a smokey red and a habanero. I tried all 3 and they are good. I know there are a lot of taco carts around town but this place is a must. Come here on the weekend and get some corn. Yum! read more

3 stars I agree I really wanted to like this place. I had heard good things maybe 6 pm on a Saturday was not the time. Not very many people. I came up to order I was kind of ignored. Ok, so 2 pastor tacos and 1 carne asada. I asked about the building next door they said just dessert are in there finally another passerby said you can eat inside, ok that is what I wanted to know. Seemed friendly in general I kind of like the place. Then yes the green sauce oh no flavor. The pastor no flavor the tortillas just not there a bit dry maybe stale. The red sauce was better and the carne asada taco a bit better. I will watch if they get busy again I will give them another try in a few months. This place knows how to do marketing! I passed by the store front everyday, and was intrigued by their colorful flags and signage along the TV hwy. So it's no surprise when I craved Mexican food, it's the first place came to my mind. It's a food cart that has both outdoor & indoor seating area, which is great that we have options. The attached indoor restroom was great so you can wash your hand before and after the mess eats. The owner was super friendly and suggested their signature, skewer pork pastor. I ended up getting the al pastor tortas (sandwich) and my friend got the al pastor burrito. Both were really good since they were made upon orders. There's a salsa fridge in the indoor area that has different sauces and pickle toppings. My friend loved the chipotle sauce quite a lot and was showered her burrito with it, while i stuck with the creamy lime sauce since it's less spicy. The owner forgot my horchata ordered and was apologetic about it. In return, he gave me a large instead of a small. I drank that humongous horchata and slightly regretted it afterward. It was fresh, creamy and quite good; b I was beyond full at the point. Oh well, YOLO right? 11-09-19 Came back here to get some quick tacos on a Saturday night. This time I ordered some al pastor, tongue, chicken and fish tacos + one horchata. The portion was alright. Somehow I didn't find myself enjoying the food as much as I thought I would. Had a quick pit stop with my son and got the Al Pastor tacos with a side of consume to sip on! So good! She even gave us a side of grilled onions wand I requested the habanero salsa. After attempting to find two different places for Mexican food, one was closed and the other was not located at the address that was posted on Yelp, you can imagine my frustration as I drove around in circles. Then my last attempt led me here and it was worth the hassle because the food was pretty good. I got a few burritos and tacos for my family, and I ended up ordering a huarache with their signature al pastor. This hit the spot. This huarache was like a tostada except the tortilla was more like crispy pancake. And the al pastor had bits of pineapple that complemented everything so well. So freaking good. Asada Torta was phenomenal - one of the best sandwiches I've had in recent memory. Growing up in the New England area exposed me to some great bread - Italian, Portugese, etc. - and the bread used for this sandwich doesn't disappoint. Finally found some good / legit Mexican food in the greater portland area. Tacos are cheap and super good. I highly recommend the al pastor tacos. Perhaps skip the shrimp as I found the shrimps to be too small, but it still tasted good for what its worth. I find the burrito a little on the expensive side, but they put a lot of meat in there so that's good. I also like that even if the kitchen is outside and they have outside seating, they do have inside seating as well which is always clean. Nothing the birria was not good the meat was dry and flavorless, the consume had no vegetables in it just red tasteless broth. I had to put my own salt in it to taste anything. I'm sorry but $36 for two chicken burritos, two street tacos and an order of rice and beans? If they had been packed with meat and/or flavorful, maybe. But the chicken burritos had very little chicken, mostly rice with some beans, a bit of cheese, onion and cilantro. They needed a ton of salsa to get them to resemble Mexican fare. The street tacos (carne asada) were small and just ok. The pinto beans and rice were just ok. I've had many meals from Mexican trucks and this was really not that great. In addition, prices weren't posted outside so I shouldn't have even ordered. If you go, I would definitely ask for the price prior to ordering. My bad. But my recommendation is to go elsewhere- there is so much better Mexican fare to be had throughout the metro area. read more
