    1 Pollo Taco & 3 Asada Tacos

Super delicious authentic tacos... such a good price too! It is cash only so next time i will be more prepared with more cash to purchase corn from the truck next door to it. I was so excited to find this spot so close to me and will definitely go back! Update: went back and ordered these four tacos shown in the pictures. Also was able to try the elotes y esquite from the truck next door. They both do not disappoint!

Food is good but I paid 2.75 for a shrimp taco with the TINIEST POSSIBLE shrimp. Complete rip off.

Stopped here this week on a whim since I forgot to bring my lunch, and this place is nearby. They said they were out of gorditas. I felt like getting a sandwich-type of meal so I opted for the Torta de asada. They have the prices covered for everything but the tacos (which are $2.50). I didn't like not being able to see the prices really, but they said prices keep going up due to food shortages. They said their Torta was $9.50. Wow, that's expensive for a sandwich. I asked them to make sure the whole piece of bread was covered in meat. Tortas have a lot of thick bread, and I didn't just want to taste bread. It comes with avocado, lettuce, tomato and a green salsa that has a slight kick. It really was very good and I really enjoyed it. Their beverages are $2.50.... But seriously just step inside compare foods to get a cold mango juice ($1) and a large bag of plantain chips ($2) and make yourself a meal. There's also another food truck next to it that was selling other items such as elote ($4) and tamales ($2.50). This place is solid to come and get authentic Mexican food.

This truck is on my top 2 list of taco trucks in Charlotte. I love the fact that they are not mobile, so I always know where to find them...outside of Compare Foods on the corner of Sugar Creek and Tryon. They are open 7 days a week from 11am-10pm and I even have them on speed dial (980-333-7365) so I can call my order in while I am driving there! These are 100% traditional street tacos, the same kind you will find on the streets of Mexico. I always get the same thing, either 3 tongue tacos, or 1 burrito de lengua (tongue burrito). If you are not so adventurous, they have less intimidating options like al pastor, Asada, and chicken. I prefer the burritos and love them because they press them on the flat top after rolling them so they are nice and crunchy on the outside. They also have all sorts of Jarrito flavors (Mexican Sodas) which are nice and sweet and pair really well with their spicy sauces. You can get stuff to go, but there are also some benches at the front of Compare and 3 or 4 stools are the truck. This is my go-to taco/burrito spot in Charlotte. Don't forget to tip these guys, they are in a hot truck serving you delicious food for 11 hours a day and they deserve it, also they will remember it for next time and hook you up!

They are at compare Foods on North Tryon. They updated the truck and the tacos taste authentic and flavorful!

I originally was going to place the order online, but they're online option said it was unavailable so I went inside and sat down at the bar. The service was OK though it seemed most people did not speak English, which is fine. It just made it kind of harder to communicate. That said the food was decent but the reason why I gave two stars was because I feel very misled on pricing. The menu showed Que Siberia tacos three for $12. Steak/Asada tacos for three dollars which brings my total to 15+ the two drinks. I thought she said it was $20.80 so I paid it with my card and gave her five dollars cash for a tip. I get to the car just to double check the transaction and she charged me 3499 on my card and took the cash. I went back inside to confront her about this advising. She completely overcharged me, and she only offered to give my six dollars tip back to me. I am now going to dispute the transaction with my bank because I was unable to resolve this issue. That's sad.

Que Fresca is a fast and fun experience. They have 2 counters - one for food and one for drinks…read more You walk up to the counter and order. We got two Burrito Fresas (one grilled chicken and one chicken tinga). The burritos had the COOLEST crunchy cheese coating on the tortilla that the hugs all of the ingredients inside the burrito. Both the grilled chicken and the chicken tinga were phenomenal. We truly could not decide who the "winner" was because they were both so flavorful. Now, to talk about the other fun part!!! SORBET MARGARITAS! I'm obsessed. I had initially seen Que Fresca on social media, specifically for the soft serve margs. And let me tell you - they did nit disappoint. They have two flavors - strawberry and lemon (and then you can do a swirl). They were SO refreshing and delightful!! It was such a fun way to ~eat~ a margarita! All of the staff were friendly and very quick. The restaurant is well laid out and I love that it had TVs to watch all the games. The bathrooms are fun too - as the mirrors have color changing lights! I cannot wait to come back and try more!

The idea is that place your order, pick a seat and your order is delivered to you. We picked our seats at the bar first because it was pretty packed for Friday night. We took our time to browse the menu but we knew we'd be getting the IG viral Sorbet flights we'd seen. Now on first attempt we got our food, it was completely cold. We informed one of the waiters and asked for our meals to be remade. So upon getting my food second time: 1 Birria Taco, 1 Chips and Queso and 1 Chicken Tinga, it was warm. The Birria taco was my favorite as the chicken didn't hold too much flavor for me. Now we ordered 2 Sorbet flights. We didn't get them as advertised.. no rim coating and the flavor offerings were duplicated. As we compared what we got from other patrons we saw what was missing and the flavor differences. Overall our meal and drinks were underwhelming and we let the staff and manager on hand know. She apologized for not making our Sorbets with rim coating and the food mishap. As guest of NC for the weekend, our host told us we'd gone to the wrong location.
