After hearing about Torchy's Tacos from a variety of people the past few months & their queso in particular, finally ventured from Dayton to check out. Right off 75 South the Liberty Center exit take the first right into the shopping center & it's right there. Ordered via the self service kiosk the threesome chips with queso, guacamole & salsa I love Mexican corn so wanted to try & then it was hard to pick a taco, as there was a variety to choose from, so went with the monthly special The American. The threesome came right away even before you could sit down so had the time to enjoy the chips - the queso is definitely the bomb! So flavorful, the guacamole was fresh and the tomatillo salsa good too. The corn I've had better and the taco was huge The restaurant wasn't busy at all but it was middle of the afternoon. Definitely worth the drive for the queso alone so good.

Clean place, fast service and food was really good. I just came off a 24 fast, so i tried this place, and i was impressed. I had the Chicken Grande Burrito and it was great; and as I said I was on a 24 fast so I had a breakfast burrito also. Both were great. Unless you have some special skills it's not a meal to try and eat while you drive. I'd come back.

Left : Jamaican jerk chicken taco Right : Baja shrimp taco

I've been here a couple of times now and it hits every single time. I order the Jamaican chicken taco and the Baja shrimp taco (on a flour tortilla) which is delicious and full of such fresh flavors. A must get tho is the queso. My family and I are obsessed with the queso. It is so delicious and is definitely on the list of my favorite quesos. The vibes inside the restaurant are also great. It's very open and clean inside. The service was also great. The staff was very kind and patient with us while we were deciding what to get as you have to order up at the kiosk and then the food gets served to your table. I would def recommend checking out Torchys if there is one near you.

I got a couple of tacos. They do a great job of filling the tacos with a lot of food. Each taco comes with a sauce of your choosing. The chipotle ranch and Diablo sauce were good. Diablo was spicy and the ranch had a refreshing flavor. The price for the tacos was around $5 to $6. It's not bad for tacos and the quality of tacos you get is very high. They have a ton of customization opinions as well catering to your tastes. Chips and Queso were very good. The Queso had a hint of spice to it but I believe the tangy flavoring was slightly overpowering. The Scratch made churros dessert were delicious. It comes with dipping sauce of dulce de leche. Hands down one of the best churros I have had. The atmosphere inside was nice. They put a lot of effort in the design of the restaurant.

I finally made it here to check the place out. All I knew was they had tacos and I was sold. I didnt realize at first that the Torchys part meant everything has a bit of spice. Thats ok I dont mind some kick, but temper your expectations. Luckily I got a very helpful staff member who went out of their way to explain the menu and give recommendations. You order at the register and then they will bring it out to you in the large dining area. There is also a large bar seating area with all kinds of adult beverages, which they do offer specials on at certain times. On this day I was in a hurry so I was grabbing take out. My food was ok, to be honest I was a little disappointed, but I think the fact that I took it to go really affected it. Because of how great the staff was I would like to return in person to give a better review of the food when eaten right away.

Nothing but good things to say about my first visit to a Torchy's. Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. But, it's the food that will bring us back! We shared a huge bowl of guac and chips...possibly the best guac I've ever had. Hubby got the Democrat taco and I got the Tipsy Chicken and we loved them. He also enjoyed his margarita. We definitely want to go back soon and try some other menu items!

i didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised that you order your meal, pay and sit down, then they bring your food to you. it's definitely upscale, well done, fast food. i prefer flour tortillas over soft corn tortillas so i preferred the chicken taco over the shrimp. but they were both great, just personal preference I loved the quac!!!! it's was awesome!

***this is coming from someone with very minimal taco experience. I got 1 breakfast taco with beef brisket, egg and potatoes with Diablo sauce. The taco itself was good but not mind blowing. I will say that the quality of the beef was good and not something you can get from some regular fast food place. I am happy to say that only 1 taco filled me up. I didn't need to get 3 or anything. The Diablo sauce was a good and slow burn. Nothing super hot, I was able to dunk my taco in the sauce container and eat it without injuring myself.

Brought friends for their first time! We had chips and guac + queso (amazing!), street corn, side of rice/beans-- assortment of tacos, one burrito and one salad. All of the food was delicious! Loved that they were generous with the sides of sauces. Service was fairly quick, lots of seating inside, outside and bar seats, we ordered some to-go items and it took a little longer to receive than we'd hoped. Overall food was excellent, presentation was nice, service was great, you definitely get a bang for your buck!

House rocks seemed small but comes with a kick

I came with my BFF and we both got the trailer park trash taco, fried chicken with cheese sauce and queso. We shared the chips and queso and the house rocks was mostly consumed by me. I will say this, it is worth the hype, tacos are around $5 each, my drink was $10 and the chips and queso would have been around $5 but got it free for signing up for their rewards program. The service was counter order, with a sensor for the table. Food was delivered fairly quickly and tables were cleaned and cleared by Monica who was very helpful and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was very clean and tidy. Looked good and wasn't overly packed. It isn't a matter of coming back again, it is a matter of can I go back tomorrow again. Or even better I wish I could ride my bike here I would come back often. Come give it a try. I think it is worth it.

    Fried Avocado Taco
    Madi M.

We ordered 4 tacos and the chips and guac - all were delicious. The food here is super flavorful, so it may not be best to bring someone spice or garlic adverse here. The only thing that prevents me from giving this place five stars is the limited vegetarian options and the counter service. Torchy's offers only two veggie options, the Fried Avocado one was very good. It is a pretty small place, with tables being very close together. The counter service mixed with the music made it really hard to hear, and it was a bit stressful ordering. However, they have great outdoor seating and ingenious table trackers so servers can find you so we still had a wonderful time! PS - look up their secret menu before going, my partner really enjoyed the Trailer Park Hillbilly Style and said it was one of the best tacos he ever had

My second review is based off a takeout order... I ordered 2 kids fried chicken tacos yet received grilled chicken which was very disappointing as this is not at all what I wanted. I was craving the amazing fried chicken tenders y'all have. I also ordered a kids chicken quesadilla this was delicious and if I hadn't received the wrong thing prior it would've hit the spot for the grilled chicken need. The rice had a decent flavor but so much cilantro on top it was unbearable. The chocolate chip fried balls are absolutely delicious. The highlight of my meal. All in all I'm not sure I'll be back unless I eat inside again since I can't guarantee my to go orders to be made correctly. My receipt showing what I ordered with pics of what I got is below.

In short, the breakfast burrito is one of the best I've ever had. They didn't just throw everything in a tortilla and call it a day, but put it in such an order that the cheese lined the bottom, with beans, then rice, before centering with chorizo and eggs. The highlight is the pozole. It's made with bone-in pork, and the broth is exceptionally flavorful without being salty. I didn't get to taste the salad but my wife loved it too. Condado is a bit expensive, about $5-6 per taco, but is always tasty. At home I used to get the Bud Box, which was maybe $13-14, and it included two of the preset tacos plus a half size of guac or queso, and chips; it was always a ton of food. One of our Cincy friends said this location offers that for lunch too, and I'd presume takeout as well, during the week. Overall I'd return to this Condado location - my only small gripe is that half of our party of 8 got their meals first, and the rest came out maybe 5 minutes later. I very much liked what I saw. Very California surfing and skateboarding and just laid back. The folks at the counter were very helpful for me considering I was new and had no idea what I was doing. It is what they call the "Chipotle style" where you tell them what you want on your order one at a time. I got a bowl and I started it with the Chiwawa rice ball. Yes it is spelled like that. It's basically a big ball of fried rice that they mashed down and that is the base of the bowl. I then topped it with beef, beans, sriracha ranch, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, and probably some other things. In the end this was a heaping dinner that I thoroughly enjoyed for only $10.
