This is near the top of my worst dining experiences. The tacos were just ok. They were only $1.50 each so they are hard to complain about. The tortillas were prepped on the griddle, but not long enough for my liking. They were mushy and greasy but they didn't fall apart. I got asada and pastor tacos. The asada tasted like beef but it was mush. It started out as chunks of steak but I guess it had been cooked too much. The texture was just all wrong. The pastor meat was cooked better. It was just ok, not bad but not great. Then there's the tamal. This was the worst excuse for food I've ever had. The attached pic is what I saw as soon as I opened it. There was a small husk that the masa and meat were placed on top of and then it was all wrapped tightly in the foil to cook. None of the moisture could escape so it was all just mush. It had the consistency of grits with meat. It was awful. Not only was the texture wrong, the taste was bad. I tried my hardest to finish it but just couldn't do it. I ate maybe a third. I had high hopes for this place. I drive past here occasionally for work but never had the time to stop. I was in town today on a weekend and excited to try it. Wish I never stopped.

I'm from Arizona and I grew up around Sonoran style Mexican food. This place is on point. I haven't felt at home since moving out here. Their tacos are amazing! We had the carne asada and tripa tacos. The salsa was delicious. The owner was so nice too. Made you feel welcome reminded me of the small mexican restauraunts we have back home . The prices where fair. I am definetly coming back I highly recommend this place for authentic mexican food!!!!!!

The waitresses and cashiers are very friendly. I usually get the shrimp Diablo or the shrimp with garlic sauce. I have tried the chicken tacos, chicken burritos, and the nachos. I'm not sure what type of onions they use but every time I've ordered the shrimp with onions or even the nachos it smells like hot trash. It tastes fine but the smell is very off-putting. The portion size are decent and the prices are not bad. However sometimes I can't get over the smell of the food. Some of the dishes don't smell like that I believe it might also be the sour cream. I do like the tacos and the garlic shrimp and the burritos are not bad.

What a cool place. You can tell they take care of the place, keep it tidy and clean. The service…read morewas off the charts, not too much not too little. They really took care of me and I wasn't the only one there. The chips (because thats where all Mexican places start) were thicker than I am used to. I didn't know i wanted them thicker until now. I REALLY like the chips, salsa was what you would expect, nothing special or bad. The queso was very cheesy, I mean like stick to your mouth and hang out sticky. It wasn't seasoned or complimented with flavor just cheesy. I ordered oddos trios ( I prolly messed that up) but it was what was recommended. It doesn't come with tortillas so i ordered those on the side, i really wanted to taste all the meats during this review for everyone. It came with rice - chicken - steak - shrimp. The rice was ok, its just rice- no peppers no onions so take that how you will. I only got 3 shrimp and to me they were a little chewy and what you would expect flavor wise. The steak now - SLAPS. It was seasoned and really good. The chicken was not shy of the steak, it was hard to tell what i liked more of the two. For me, 5 stars is knock ya socks off. If you want a cheap, good meal, the kids will like, this is the place locally. Def try for someone craving Mexican on a budget! It was 18 bucks for just me but i did add tortillas and queso.
