The portions are amazing and plenty of parking. It's good food and I recommend this place for the Mexican food.

I recommend the place for its portion sizes. Service was excellent and on time. You should try it if you're in the area.

I would like to say my wife and I are pretty good margarita connoisseurs, we have tried good Mexican food and margarita all across the east coast, but HATS OFF TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! They had a amazing Friday deal for jumbo margaritas for 6.50$ (1. Deal too good to be true 2. They must be disgusting) we received our margaritas and they were probably the best frozen margaritas we have had yet! But wait... the delicious drinks were not the only thing. FAJITAS! The fajitas for two looked like I could feed a family of 5, they were very delicious and very reasonably priced! Will definitely be coming back next Friday

We have been to the new location twice and have not been disappointed yet! Portions are very generous, service was very fast AND friendly. Refills on salsa and drinks without a wait. The Chili relleno had flavorful meat-thank God! Everything was great! Oh! And they've got the good ice.

Nastiest burrito I have ever experienced. If you must eat here, I do not recommend the El Camino Burrito.

I got the El Camino Burrito for lunch. It is probably the worst burrito I have ever had. No flavor. Soaked in tomato-water masquerading as some excuse for a sauce. Absolutely terrible. Never again.

Service was good, food is tasty and plentiful. Authentic Mexican themed. Not the best Mexican restaurant, but definitely worth a visit.

Food is sub par at best, if it's real Mexican food you're after go down the street to habeneros.

Food is very sub par, and the menu that you receive is disgusting and dirty. Service is poor unless you sit at the bar.

Just as my wife was about to eat the last bit of rice, she noticed a white piece that we initially thought was overcooked rice. Upon closer inspection, we realized it was a maggot. This made us both feel sick to our stomachs, and we felt like throwing up. We had already put some of the rice into our tacos. We informed the lady at the counter, but she didn't seem surprised or apologize; she just told us we didn't have to pay for the meal. When we stepped outside, my wife's stomach was upset, and she felt like throwing up, as did I. After getting some air for about five minutes, I decided to go back inside to take pictures. I informed the two ladies inside that I was going to take pictures, but one of the ladies, who hadn't been there initially, told the other lady in Spanish to take the plate away and not let me take a picture. We have never been in a situation where we might have eaten maggots. We will be going to the hospital to get checked

However, The food was great, I ordered the Chicken Tacos with Cheese & Sour Cream, they were delicious! 4.5 Overall - A real beach-feel taco shack, less than a block from the ocean. Outdoor seating (no…read moreindoors) and weathered wood lends authenticity to the Surf City vibe, but then one also needs to contend with the birds and heat (minus the ocean breeze). We drove here with friends from Jacksonville (NC) and experienced the food and service and, afterwards said we'd definitely return here. Why? Tacos. We ordered four - Tuna, Shrimp, Chicken, and Veggie- all on a soft corn tortilla. Each one packed a mouthful of flavor combinations that were distinct and memorable. My blackened and seared tuna took a different turn with the bacon, yet it melded well with the cabbage and the spicy mayo. My favorite - the blackened and grilled Shrimp taco - included Asian slaw and sweet chili sauce that complimented the char. Our friends ordered the seafood nachos which frankly looked liked the shrimp and other seafood were overwhelming the chips! If I had been hungrier, I would have ordered this monster! Soft drinks (Coke products), adult beverages, and "Sweet Treats" are also available. The bathrooms are inside the surf shop. Paid parking is right next to the store. (If a song could be adapted for this review, it would start, "Shaka, Shaka, Shaka, Shaka Tacos)

No issue with the wait and the servers and staff were working hard and kind. That said, the prices were high for what you got and not having cups for water increased the dissatisfaction. We did enjoy the chips and the red salsa was good however our meals outside that were fairly flavorless. Pretty sure the only thing that was raved about was the Sangria Slush. I'm a fan of doing something and doing it well but not so sure outside the slush or the shrimp taco what the signature dish is here but it wasn't the specials, the seafood nachos, the beef, ahi tuna tacos.
