For reference I can't count how many Mexican Places we've tried. We have a couple favorites that are our "go to's". El Jefe, El Canelo, Fiesta Bamba... I strumbled upon a newer one I didnt know existed. There apparently is a location in Batavia and in Niagara Falls also. Never tried either of those locations either. Senor Leon is the name. Its located on the back side of the Galleria Mall. The old World of Beers and really old Ruby Tuesday's. Let me just say they may be our favorite. Dining room was beautiful and culturally decorated. Comfortable and clean. Huge bar and quite a few TV's. Our server was Carlos and he was fantastic. Super attentive and not overwhelming. I was shocked when we got the menu. Prices were crazy reasonable for a higher class Mexican place, especially in a Mall. Wife got the steak quesadilla, it was huge and the condiments and beans had to come out on a separate plate. I got the lunch Senor Leon Burrito and a hard shell taco. I could only eat half and it was only $12!!! It came with burrito filled with steak, chicken, beans, and rice. Smothered in nacho cheese and pico del gallo. Also with a small cheese quesadilla, 2 chicken taquitos, and 4 slices of carne asada steak. FOR $12!!! This place beyond impressed me. I honestly think it may our single "go to" in the future if subsequent visits are this rewarding. An absolute must try if you like authentic Mexican.

This spot in the mall has been on my list but now I finally got to try it. I went in for lunch and it was a nice option in the area. With it being just after the lunch rush, we got seated at a table right away. This is in the former World of Beer location in the Galleria Mall. The space looks huge in here now. So bright, inviting, and welcoming. There's an entrance from outside and an entrance inside of the mall itself. Our server was great and took care of everything we needed. I ordered a pineapple Jarritos and my friend got a horchata. That looked really good so I have to go back to try it. They give you chips and salsa at the table as a starter which was nice. The chips were actually really good. Not overly salted and very crispy. The salsa was good too. It was mild and had a good flavor for the chips. I ordered the lunch special steak quesadilla with rice and beans. The steak was phenomenal. It had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The quesadilla was a good size, and there was a good amount of rice and beans as well. Overall it was delicious and filling! I will definitely be back with more friends and family. This is a great spot and even better food!

Went for lunch and enjoyed the specials they had. Service was quick and the chips and salsa served ahead of the meal were great. I got the Senor Leon burrito ($11) which came stuffed with three different meats and included a bit of Carne Asada steak on the side. It was a great way to sample a lot of things in one meal lol. I also got a Horchata drink to go along with them lunch and it was really good. Maybe a little sweeter than usual but I liked it! Looking forward to going back again to try more things on their menu and glad to have a new Mexican spot located, conveniently at the mall.

We stopped in for a drink and decided to try a few of their a la carte menu items. We ordered the $3.99 margarita, a Chile relleno, tamale and chicken quesadilla. Everything was outstanding; homemade, fresh and more authentic than many of the other local Mexican restaurants. We met the owner who was very personable and brought us some of their house made sauces to try. The ambience is nice and they put a lot of effort into making it not look like World of Beer anymore. Mexican music in the background with a cheerful atmosphere made me feel like I was on vacation. Everything was so good and we definitely will be back.

Margaritas?! Virgin Daiquiris?! Senor Leon has it all! The service here is outstanding. We have come here twice, and our waitress and waiter were both incredible. They deliver your food HOT HOT HOT and muy rapido! The owner is lovely, he came to check in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory and oh boy was it! The chips are sooooo good. Their salsa is very tasty but just a tad watery, it's a bit difficult to keep on the chip. Their queso is extremely good!!! The fajitas were so tasty. We cooked up my leftovers the next day and made some guac with them. The margaritas are huge and they are delicious! Ambiance is great, very lively, beautiful bright colors, and the booths are very comfortable! Muchas gracias Senor Leon, we will be back for more!

Food was great, server was a little busy but had some assistance from other staff to make sure I was taken care of. Will be back!

Finally got to try senor leons and had a good experience ... was also lucky it wasn't busy (came in at 7pm on a Sunday). The interior is nice! Everything still has that "new" look and feel to it and the hand painted murals are beautiful. Service was very friendly. I believe the manager was working and he greeted us as we arrived and check on us after we finished our meal. They start out with the standard chips and salsa. Both me and my friend enjoyed our meals. I ordered the chori pollo but I replaced the beans with peppers and onions. There may have been an up charge per the waitress, but my friend picked up the tab so I'm not sure. I think the best part about this place is the drinks ... and I'm not much of a drinker, but we saw some people's drinks and they were big and pretty to look at. There's a lot of options, including frozen drinks. There's also non-alcoholic beers (I believe corona's was one).

I always walk by this restaurant in the Galleria mall and today I decided I will try it for lunch. I so glad i did. This Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem. The food and drinks were amazing. They had a good vibe going with the music playing in background. Im happy I did all my shopping before deciding to eat. I was ready for a nap after my meal. Highly recommend. Will visit again real soon.

04/2025: This newly-opened restaurant is in a great place: Second floor of the Walden Galleria. It's an easy place to rest after shopping, and it's got the benefit of Mall security in the parking lot, if visiting in the evening . The interior is covered in bright, modern south-of-the border murals, and the dining room is full of light, and very clean. Ask to sit in the glass covered patio, unless you want to watch sports at the bar. Both our waitress and the manager came to check on us, attentive without hovering. It was very pleasant service. The plates came out of the kitchen so hot, the waitress needed oven mitts. It was also a short wait after we placed our order. Here's where things fell down: My cheese chile relleno and my husband's beef enchilada looked exactly alike, covered in a generic red sauce. This sauce has no garlic, onion, or cumin, coriander, or kick to it. For some, this might be a selling point. For me, I like it, "chuloso" (spicy).

Tried this new Mexican restaurant that's located in the back side of the Galleria mall near Macy's attached to the mall, but also has its own entrance and you don't have to enter the mall. They have a huge patio out front too to enjoy dining al fresco during the warmer months. I started at the bar and waited for my girlfriends to show up. The ladies trickled in sporadically and we had margs at the bar before sitting for dinner. It was a Tuesday and they had house Margarita's for $3.00 a piece for happy hour! What a fantastic price! The house marg was decent enough. The bartender who waited on us, also ended up being our waitress too. She was new and very sweet. She was very thorough and went over everything we ordered with us after everyone ordered which was nice to confirm since there were five of us. I don't and didn't mind that at all; matter of fact that makes for excellent communication and completeness. I had the steak fajita quesadilla. It was so delicious and filled plentifully with lots of steak and veggies! It came with rice and beans as well. Everyone enjoyed their dinner very much! The food and plates were piping hot which I appreciate. I will definitely be returning! What are you waiting for....check them out if you haven't already and add it to your rotation!

The food was amazing and came out very quickly. The servers were very kind and attentive and greeted us at the door but not the annoying attentive. The manager/maybe owner came up to us asking about how the food was and was very involved with the customers thanked us and said goodbye. Overall just a very friendly welcoming atmosphere.

(Also- the hours online and Yelp/Google Maps are different than what's posted on the door.) I decided to see if the door was open in case the sign just wasn't flipped to "open". It was UNLOCKED, and so was the second door! I was able to go INSIDE the cafe, even though it was clearly empty and no one was there...no food in the display case either. The first thing I appreciated was, the Owners and staff members. They are genuinely, a very happy group of people. They are super friendly and engaging. I also like the fact you can dine in or even do takeout. Today I decided on takeout.. the serving sizes are very decent, and the prices are more than fair. I strongly recommend checking them out. Breakfast sandwich- choice of bacon or sausage. Really nice satisfying sandwich. I really like the type of roll that was used. Plus the sandwich wasn't greasy or sloppy at all. Breakfast bowl- For me, I was able to share with my wife. The to-go container was pack. Every bite full had meat, cheese potatoes, and eggs. The ingredient ratio was spot on. You didn't have to much of this and not enough of that. Chicken and waffle- breast was moist and seasoned well for my liking. I loved the waffle flavor. Whatever waffle mix they are using. They need to keep using it and never change up.

The service was quick and our waitress was nice, but the food was not great. We ordered the strawberry crepe, local eggs breakfast special, and the seafood crepe. The local egg breakfast was good and basic so it's hard to mess that up, but the crepes were not good, especially the seafood, but the side salad that came with it was delicious. I don't plan on coming back here and wouldn't recommend it to friends/family.
