    Breakfast burrito

Went for brunch with a large group for my birthday, we had a great time. Only one person was dissatisfied- the breakfast burrito was not great. But everyone else loved theirs! I personally had the chilaquiles and it was delicious and authentic. The chicken for the chicken and churros was a favorite a the fruit on the plates so delicious also. We liked all our drinks as well. Our waitress did a great job with the large group. Reservation was made online! Cant wait to return honestly!

Maizal Mexican Kitchen is a colorful, spacious restaurant with a fun and inviting atmosphere. The service is always smooth, very casual yet helpful. Each person knows how to make the customer's visit enjoyable. The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and really tasty. I told my partner (quietly) that the salsa was delicious and that I wish there was more. A moment later, one of the servers came over and asked if we wanted more dip for the rest of our chips. He must've read my mind :). Just an example. Not being familiar with moles in general, ordering Enmoladas made me feel excited. According to our server, the mole verde was the least spicy, so that was my choice. Also, she offered to bring the mole negro and mole roje to sample, how nice! Later I learned that all moles have a very tolerable heat and the roje is our favorite. My companion decided to have Enchiladas Mixtas. The beef enchilada was so flavorful! The red sauce tasted similar to the tomato sauce I make for the Polish dish 'gołąbki', mild and buttery, just delightful. On our previous visit we had an unusual appetizer from the specials menu. Esquite, a corn dish, was a great addition to our meal and left us wanting more. Unfortunately, it wasn't available this time. We tried Memelitas instead. Memelitas are thick, fried or toasted cakes made from masa (corn dough). It's a simple dish with a long history. Ours were toasted and topped with salsa verde, red onion and queso fresco. It would be a great snack on its own. As an appetizer for two at a restaurant, I wouldn't order it again. I can't forget to mention that the Mexican rice they served was outstanding. I need the recipe.

It has been a few months since I have been able to make my way back to Maizel, which is one of my favorite Mexican places to go. We had a cousins dinner on a Tuesday night. My cousin visiting from Italy was craving Mexican. I said I know of the perfrct place. Tuesdays they have all yoy can eat tacos for 19.99. We didnt get that. I got the mole negro which was wonderful , as usual. My one cousin got chimichangas and my other cousin ordered the burrito bowl. Both really enjoyed their food. My local cousin said this was now her favorite Mexican place in the area. The service was great. The salsa is better than before. We also got the queso and guacamole and they were delicious. Highly recommend. Great ambiance as well. It is vibrant

I visited for Sunday's all day happy hour! As soon as you walk in it's all bright colors and music to put you in a good mood... That also makes you want to dance. I sat at the bar was greeted right away and given a brunch menu, a happy hour menu and a drink menu. I was also brought a basket of fresh house made chips and salsa. I decided to order a virgin jalapeno margarita and the birria rolls. The margarita was hands down the best I've ever had... No premade mixes here; they fresh squeeze their ingredients and it shows! The birria rolls were also great! Despite being deep fried, they were not super greasy and the consomme, oh the consomme! The consomme was super flavorful, not greasy, had potatoes, cilantro and carrots in it. I could have eaten a bowl of it as a soup! Happy hour also has great prices! The small margaritas are $5 and the birria rolls were $6. I'll definitely be back! The bathrooms were clean.

Kids meals are large. Restaurant looks super cool. All the food was great! I had the spicy chimichangas. They weren't spicy but they were still great.

This place has been on my list for a while and I am pleasantly impressed with how the food was. We ordered take out and it was still hot and fresh when we got home with it. We got the chicken tacos and the birria tacos. Each came with a side of rice and beans. They also came with a side of chips and salsa. The homemade chips and salsa were incredible. There's something so good about homemade chips vs the store bought chips. The salsa was mild but had a spicy kick after a while. The tacos were both very delicious. They were perfectly topped with the lettuce and sauce. The pickled onion was also a good touch for the toppings as well. Next time we get food from here, we are definitely eating there. The interior of the restaurant is so cool and decorated beautifully. We will definitely be back for more soon!

Food came out looking so good I forgot to take pictures the taste matched the look. I've been wanting to go here for so long and I'm so glad I finally made it! The interior looks really cool. Staff were super nice. The homemade chips and salsa were amazing along with the queso and guac we ordered! My quesadilla was incredible. I will definitely be coming here over and over!

Our server was kind, accurate and very personable -- not to mention rapid service. I ordered the Camarones and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Came with side of rice and beans and guac salad. I had a Mexican Guava beverage that was delightful and learned what Sopapillos were the best delicious way-- bit into a crisp and sweet fried tortilla with chocolate and whipped cream with a cinnamon sugar crust. Delish. Would totally eat here again and again. Craveable food and exceptional service. Love the positive, sweet and contagiously family-oriented energy here.

When we got up to leave, my feet were sticking to the ground. Maybe I unknowingly stepped into a spilled beverage under the table?? It's hard to find authentic and delicious Mexican food In WNY. Passed by this Restaurant many times, see a full parking lot during dinner time. We decided to try. The Baja fish tacos appeared nice in presentation. Generous portion. 4/5 in taste. I prefer fish tacos that are not breaded. A little oily. The side of rice and black beans was blah. 2/5. The rice was watery. As if it was not drained after cooking And same with the beans. 2/5. My daughter had a fajita burrito which she enjoyed 4/5. We were seated quickly, food took only a few minutes to be served. However our waitress never came back after serving us to refill water or check if we needed anything. We had to flag down a different person who was clearing a nearby table to get more water.

It's a very casual, no-fuss spot with a few high tables and a bunch of chairs. The colorful furniture, artwork on the walls, and overall hospitable atmosphere make grabbing a quick meal on the spot not a bad idea. We only ordered a few tacos. All were loaded with meat, some onion, and cilantro. We asked for mild and medium-hot salsa, which was served in small, perfectly sized containers. I enjoyed my chicken taco a lot. The double tortilla held everything perfectly. The menu has plenty of interesting options. I'd definitely go back without hesitation. One more thing.
