Was running around and decided to stop here for a late lunch. This place is full of soccer decor, specifically liga mx team club América and Mexico national team. Authentic Mexican music in the background and a decent menu selection. Had a chile relleno burrito , it was quite delicious. Staff was cool , bathroom was clean. This Taqueria is hidden in a tiny corner behind WheelWorks and a Hispanic grocery store. Service is efficient, prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of room to sit. This is the kind of place locals go to, and there were several families seated nearby. I ordered a à la carte ceviche, and it was incredibly delicious! Made fresh daily with fresh tilapia and just the right amount of seasonings for a spicy-adverse person like me. My new go-to Mexican spot. I've tried so many places around Petaluma and this by far is the best bang for your buck. Everything comes in huge portions, including the drinks. I didn't get a picture of our burritos because we were so hungry, but they were amazing. We got 1 carne asada super burrito and 1 shrimp + carne asada burrito. SO GOOD! The service is great, everyone is nice and friendly. And the food is out in less than 15 mins. I took it to-go but next time we're dining in! It was very clean and tidy inside. Regular burrito is $10 but very small in comparison to other places in town--about 2.5" in diameter and maybe 9-10" long. At El Pacifico, for example, for only slightly more money, you get a burrito at least 50% larger. That being said, it was a super solid burrito. The pastor was flavorful and juicy, and the rice and beans were tasty too. I really like their salsas more than El Pacifico--red sauce is oregano heavy but really good and the green is nice and spicy. Just wish you got a little more for the money. read more

I went here a few weeks ago, with some buddies that were visiting from the LA area. They had found this place on their own and it was really good. I would say their burritos are on par with El Roy's. Most of the folks eating there were Hispanic and that says a lot for the quality (we were the only white guys there). I would go back to this place. read more

Sorry, disappointed. A five at Best, I'm not saying it was terrible, but this was a disappointing experience. I ordered the taco combo plate, taco were a small, like little carne asada tacos. Taco shredded beef meat was low quality, so was the meat in the enchilada. Rice did not taste fresh. Not Mexican food I know. Refried beans were the only item that I won't complain about. I came here based on a Reddit tip for a great breakfast burrito and I'm glad I found this place. Authentic tasty breakfast burrito, regular burrito, and tacos, among other offerings. Friendly staff. Not good. I'm sorry but there was nothing redeeming about this meal. Got an order of guac and chips. Which was the saddest looking guac I've seen ever. Primarily tomato and onion. The food quality has been consistent for decades, all of the meats are delicious, the burritos are well-layered and made with real sliced avocado (I am not a fan of premade guacamole that some taquerias use). In person the food is consistently good and the owner is super friendly. Haven't ordered online again since my experience was so bad the last few times I did. Green sauce is still really good. They've got them thin, crispy tortilla chips (like the ones at Chevy's) that are hard to find! Hooray! I had the 2 taco (pork) combo with rice and beans, and others had a carne asada burrito and a pork torta. The tacos were great in flavor, meat perfectly charred, a little gristley. The beans were made the classic way with lard (SABROSO) and the rice was just the way I love Mexican rice. Per report, the carne asada had nice flavor (gristley), but was missing cheese (bummer). Per report, the torta was full in content and very filling! Will go again for chips, beans and salsa. read more
