The chef makes all your food fresh to order. The woman taking your order is so nice and excited to help you. There isn't a place to eat inside. It's ok because you can take this home to enjoy. I was seated quickly, and my waitress was friendly and attentive right from the start. She handed me a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. Shortly after, she returned with chips and two types of salsa: a red and a green. Both had good flavor--the red had a bit more kick but wasn't overly spicy. The menu layout is a bit odd. There are no prices listed next to the items--you have to flip to the back pages to find them. My guess is this setup makes it easier for the restaurant to update prices without reprinting the whole menu. The dining area had plenty of seating, and Mexican music was playing at a volume slightly above background level, but nothing overwhelming. I had no issue with it--it added to the atmosphere. Throughout the meal, my waitress checked in on me several times, which I appreciated. I ordered the carnitas with a salad instead of rice, and opted for flour tortillas. The homemade tortillas were piping hot and delicious. The carnitas were cooked perfectly--tender and full of flavor. The refried beans were also tasty. The salad came with lettuce, bell peppers, tomato slices, and avocado slices. I expected to be charged extra for the avocado, but surprisingly, I wasn't. They did charge a $1 credit card fee, which didn't bother me--it's fair for them to recoup processing costs. All in all, I'd definitely return the next time I'm in town.
