    Yummy huge abondigas soup !

First time in ! And all I can say is WOW !! There were four of us ! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the sweetest lady. Her name is Rosa and she waited on her table also! The entire evening was nothing short of amazing! The food has such great flavor, and Rosa was the sweetest! The food came out so fast the plates were hot and the food was delicious! When we were eating and looking around, the entire restaurant was so decorated graciously with beautiful Christmas decorations, so homey and sweet ! In the table next to us happen to be the owner of the restaurant, Jose, which came over to our table and started chatting with us and all I can say is he was so charming and nice ! He greeted us and talked with us for a few minutes! We did notice that their prices were definitely lower than most of the Mexican restaurants around, which really impressed us then we tasted the food and it got even better ! If you are looking for some great authentic Mexican food, you need to come here!! it was awesome and we will definitely be back !! We found our new go to ! Thanks for making the evening ! Also Make sure you try the apple cinnamon fried burrito and the fried ice cream for dessert ! YUMMY !

Awesome service and great tasting food. I wanted to get the whole fried fish head and all and due to a lack of communication between the server and me being a white guy, I was given a fried filet of cod vs the whole fish. Still excellent so no complaints. I'll order it next time. When seated I saw a bunch of dishes headed to a party in the lower bar area. They looked phenomenal. Especially the 7 deadly seas mixed seafood soup. The steaks with shrimp on them looked awesome as well. I didn't take a picture of my food because it wasn't what I wanted so I took pictures of the menu for people to see since I noticed it hasn't been updated on yelp in 5 years lol. This place is awesome tho. Highly recommend.

The food is…read moreconsistently good, the drinks are solid, and they easily have the best chips and salsa around. Service is always friendly and reliable, which keeps me coming back. My only real recommendation is to avoid sitting in the bar area if you're in a hurry. Service there tends to move a lot slower, so it can take a while to get your order in and get your food. The restaurant itself is a little run down, and the bathrooms could definitely use some attention, but the bar and outside area is decorated nicely and has a good atmosphere overall. All in all, it's a great local spot and one I keep going back to.

Instead of trying to resolve the situation or make it right, the manager, Noah, became argumentative and tried to debate what had been said rather than listen to the customer. After waiting that long, the last thing anyone expects is to feel like they have to argue just to be heard. What made it more disappointing was the lack of willingness to fix the issue or offer a solution. We came in hoping for a good meal and left feeling frustrated and unheard. It's sad because good service could have easily turned this into a positive experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. At the end of it he realized and came back and finally apologized.

We also got the Mexican pizza (didn't get a picture) which was also really good, the grilled jalapeños and onions were the perfect addition to the pizza and the tortilla itself was soft but not soggy with all the toppings. Dessert options were a little sad, they don't have much, but the chocoflan did not disappoint. It was very decadent without tasting overly sweet. Now for service. We had reservations at 5:30pm on a Saturday so wasn't too busy yet. Got seated fast. Our server was a gem, don't remember his name, but he went above and beyond with accommodating dietary restrictions. Service was a bit slow on drinks but our server apologized for that. I didn't mind, I rather my food comes out first anyway. All in all, great experience, great food. Will be back to try more!

My only concern pertains to the method of applying card fees, which are charged per menu item rather than as a single transaction at the conclusion of the meal. This practice incrementally increases the overall cost, and I am unclear as to why a consolidated fee at the point of sale is not feasible.

I was seated quickly, and my waitress was friendly and attentive right from the start. She handed me a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. Shortly after, she returned with chips and two types of salsa: a red and a green. Both had good flavor--the red had a bit more kick but wasn't overly spicy. The menu layout is a bit odd. There are no prices listed next to the items--you have to flip to the back pages to find them. My guess is this setup makes it easier for the restaurant to update prices without reprinting the whole menu. The dining area had plenty of seating, and Mexican music was playing at a volume slightly above background level, but nothing overwhelming. I had no issue with it--it added to the atmosphere. Throughout the meal, my waitress checked in on me several times, which I appreciated. I ordered the carnitas with a salad instead of rice, and opted for flour tortillas. The homemade tortillas were piping hot and delicious. The carnitas were cooked perfectly--tender and full of flavor. The refried beans were also tasty. The salad came with lettuce, bell peppers, tomato slices, and avocado slices. I expected to be charged extra for the avocado, but surprisingly, I wasn't. They did charge a $1 credit card fee, which didn't bother me--it's fair for them to recoup processing costs. All in all, I'd definitely return the next time I'm in town.

We've ordered a wide variety of items from the menu, and every single thing has been incredible. The carnitas are hands down some of the best we've ever had--perfectly tender, flavorful, and with just the right amount of crisp. And the burritos? Huge, packed with quality ingredients, and bursting with authentic flavor in every bite. You can really tell they care about what they're serving. Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and made with consistency. It's rare to find a place where everything you try hits, but this is definitely one of them. If you're in the area (or even if you're not), it's absolutely worth checking out. This is going to be a regular stop for us from now on. It's so good I forgot to take pics of the food!

They are a pretty new establishment (at least based on the number of reviews) in Ceres, and is across the street from the Home Depot and Grocery Outlet. The inside is lined with booths and a few tables in the center, with a lot of warm terracotta vibes throughout. When we arrived, it was particularly smoky from an apparently really hot plate and it left a hazy fog around the whole restaurant when we sat down at our booth lol There were also several annoying flies during our meal that brought my rating down. We ordered: Nacho fries - The fries on this were more reminiscent of home fries/breakfast potatoes as they weren't really crispy, and more soggy. The asada and guac was plentiful. Overall this dish did its job of satiating SO's craving. Tripa California burrito - This wasn't bad at all! It came with a really good hot sauce. I could have taken shots of it (and I did). The tripa was pungent yet crispy. The fries had the same texture as the ones used in the nacho fries. Before our food came, in-house diners receive a basket of tortilla chips and salsa and their version of 'curtido' (pickly cabbage slaw). I especially liked the freshness and crunch! Service was good. The dude was super nice, although I think he missed my order of a horchata as it never made it out. I brushed it off as a sign that I didn't need an additional sweet drink with my meal :) In the end, I am glad we tried a new place. But I don't know if it is close enough to us for it to be a regular spot.
