We stopped in on our way up to NC from South Florida and it was delicious!! We had 2 small kids with us running around (thankfully not too many people were in there) they were so nice and accommodating. We had been in the car for about 13 hours so we were happy we had the chance to stretch our legs with amazing Mexican food. And also a great margarita. Will definitely be back the next chance we get! The food is not cheap Mexican but well prepared and thought out meals. The service was excellent Eduardo was our waiter and was friendly and informative. The restaurant is in a small strip mall and not about ambiance. I was going to post a picture or two but got excited about the smells of the Parrillada and skipped it. Awesome place!! read more

We recently placed a phone order for several tortas and burritos, but upon receipt, the burritos were not what was ordered. Specifically, we did not request a wet burrito for any of the burritos. Although some of us were willing to settle with a wet burrito, I am definitely not happy with having spent $69.00 for half of the order to be not what we had wanted. The steak burrito we ordered was replaced with a hastily assembled version consisting of just chopped steak wrapped in a tortilla with melted cheese and excessive red salsa over it. To give the dish a little accent, slices of onions were garnished. :/ Just great... Regrettably, the salsa was overpoweringly salty, and the steak was remarkably dry. I had completely lost my appetite just trying it. Given the cost for our order, I expect a higher standard of quality and attention to detail. Receiving half of our order incorrect and the inability to properly at least make a wet burrito has left me disappointed and frustrated for what our time and money was worth. Order accuracy and quality control improvements are necessary. It's a bummer to seem to have great reviews for the restaurant but to have experienced dissatisfaction. read more

Taqueria Mi Jalisco has great food at a reasonable price. All of the employees are friendly. If you need to communicate in English, they can speak perfect English. I really enjoyed my carne asada plate. The flavors were there. The portion size was terrific. I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, I have to knock this all the way down to 3 stars because of a very unsafe food practice that I observed. I requested extra spicy salsa, and they served me some in a mortar bowl. The aesthetic was terrific. The flavors were terrific... Here's the thing. They serve the salsa like that to any table that asks and they reuse any leftovers. This isn't a sauce bottle with a covering. This is an open mortar bowl. This is potentially very dangerous and could lead to food borne illnesses. I ended up just fine, but this practice is not great. It makes me wonder what other money saving measures do they take at the expense of food safety? I liked Taqueria Mi Jalisco a lot, but I prefer my questionable food practices in somewhere like East LA, not in Commerce, GA. read more

I ordered 3 carne asada tacos to go. On a road trip, I'm starving and it's near my room for the night. I was absolutely delighted when I opened my to go box! Starving=no photo. The best presentation ever. My tacos, radish slices, cucumber slice, grilled onions and half a grilled jalapeño, it was lovely. The tacos were perfect! I always order extra limes and green sauce, didn't need them. I'm only sad because I'll probably never get to eat here again.
