I really like this place for breakfast burritos as well as dinner For dinner I came here with friends and unlike the mornings they were not that crazy busy. We ordered at the counter and were served food very fast. Menudo - I like the feet in it and the tomato soup base. I came here to try for the first time, and even though it's flavorful I had to say that I'm not a fan because I can still taste gamey Beef tongue - I strongly recommend this dish is dish came with a good portion of rice and guac as well, and the beef tongues were so tender!! Service was so friendly. There was also a bar that you can get more jalapeños and salsa.

Steak Quesadilla

I love this place. Denver gem. Historic time in business. I am sad they 1) stopped running their food truck at night and 2) increased prices significantly. $20 for this quesadilla and sour cream. Still go, they are amazing. Denver has a ton of Mexican food, but this is worth a visit.

Had the #26 Barbaco plate with a large horchata (a rice pudding drink....I know, weird, but fantastic when made right). Food was fantastic. Authentic barbacoa. Typical beans and rice. Tasty tortillas. BUT not worth $14.00 . Call me cheap. The price reflects the location within walking distance of Broncos stadium, but on a Tuesday, find somewhere else off Federal. There's hundreds of Mexican restaurants that are competing for your business $3.75 Horchata was well balanced between sweet and spicy cinnamon. Service, counter order then wait at table was courteous and prompt. Really loved the garish decor which Is really the biggest reason for returning .

Taqueria Mi Pueblo has been here for many years! I remember coming to this restaurant with my parents as a kid on a Sunday afternoon. Just like back then, the food is delicious, comforting and full of flavor. We ordered some horchatas, Chiles rellenos and some carne asada and Al pastor sopes! Everything was excellent. And I am so glad that the inside still looks the same!! If you want some good Mexican food, stop by!

The Best Menudo in All of Colorado

Well I have been talking about the menudo from her to my wife and neighbor since my first time here. With all that's going on we got our schedules to a point where we all could go. What can I say, everyone loved it. Breakfast Burritos, Menudo, Chiles Rellenos, Tortillas and the Bread all to die for. We had a great time and the energy in the restaurant is wonderful. The staff is super friendly and mire than happy to help you make your choice of what delectable menu item you want to enjoy.

Food is not too bad on pricing and taste but I've decided to not eat here anymore because on my way out I saw a rat leaving from there building corner and re entering the establishment so they have some major cleaning to do before I come back at all

Best Menudo in town and they always have which is awesome. Also love their Tortas, Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, tacos. Been coming for years and always great eats. They are open during Covid although their salsa bar is not but you can still ask for salsa and pickled Vegis and get. Prices are pretty fair for amount of food. Parking lot is tight and angular.

It was good. It was authentic. They had a salsa bar. The horchata wasn't too sweet. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.

Best Mexican food in all DENVER, true authentic Mexican food. Everything has taste and flavor! I highly recommend anything on the menu! Family friendly as well.

Huevos con chorizo burrito
Anali M.

One of the worst burritos I've had, the chorizo was not properly crumbled or mixed with the eggs. Terrible seasoning. The egg's seemed to have been pre cooked and over cooked, and the quality of the chorizo was terrible it almost tasted like it was raw.

My order of Tacos from Taqueria Mi Pueblo August 4th 2013.

Barbacoa was fire!! Breakfast burrito was lit. Don't listen to the haters- they wouldn't know good Mexican food if it hit them in the face.

This place fills up 60 days in advance, without fail! When we arrived, we were able to get parking about a block away on the street. We were soon greeted and guided to our seats upon walking in. This is a very small restaurant - only a few tables, not many options for big groups, and some bar seating both inside and outside. I can see why the reservations are in such high demand! We were recommended to get 4-5 small plates, so we decided on the Guacamole Alma, Burrito de Frijoles Puerco, Apache en su Jugo, and Enmolada de Pato. We also shared the hibiscus margarita and Mex 75. The drinks came out first - the hibiscus margarita was so refreshing, light and delicious! We weren't as big fans of the Mex 75 - but if you like smoky drinks this is the one for you. The guacamole came out first - it was tangy and tasty. I will say that the other dishes were a lot more unique. The burrito was a standout - we absolutely loved the homemade sourdough tortilla, one of the best we've ever tasted. The chorizo filling was savory and tasty. The Apache en su Jugo was unique and had a lovely flavor - if you are a beef tartare fan this is a wonderful dish to try! The enmolado de pato came out last and we thoroughly enjoyed the mole and flavor. This is definitely worth checking out. I will say as a Houston native we have several restaurants with similar flavors and slightly lower price tags and wait times, so I am a bit spoiled in that regard. But all in all the service is wonderful, it's a pleasure to try so many different and unique dishes, and the joy of snagging a reservation is worth it!

Place is cozy, right on the corner, very natural earthy interior design, makes it feel like vacation and very different from rest of Denver vibe. Foods are beyond just tasteful, feels like a whole experience with every bite. You typically need 4 to 5 plates for a party of two, each plate is elegantly designed and crafted. It comes out as a pure perfection, the house cocktails are unique above all is the avocado margarita, which is one of the exotic cocktails of all. Staff are extremely professional, not too friendly, not too cold, just the right amount of politeness to make one comfortable. For my fellow Denver folks, you have to visit this place to experience contemporary Mexican dishes, which, by the way, most of them taste more towards a comfortable level of spicy.

The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar. The bartender was great and made a solid marg ($8 on happy hour). You get a great deal on taco Tuesday but I'm sure you'd get great service and quality any day of the week!

Then you are driving the neighborhood hoping to find a spot. Finally parked and walked to the restaurant. Host told me it would be 30 minutes but the actual wait was 50 minutes. Spend so much time parking and then waiting, at what point do you give up and leave empty handed? Restaurant is VERY LOUD. Finally got a table and ordered OFF MENU. Server agreed to substitute shrimp for my enchiladas and they were good! Fresh corn tortillas were the highlight. Ordered tres leches cake and enjoyed it too. Was a nice meal but just not worth all the hassle.
