Taqueria Mi Rancho (a Taco Truck) is my main taco source, since it is only a quick walk from where I work. This is a permanent location taco truck that sits in a gravel lot with a permanent sign by 15th Street. They are registered with the state as a permanent location and I have read all of their great ratings on the state website, which is rare for trucks. There is also a seating area outside of the actual truck, and a glass front cooler housing Jarritos sodas among other beverages. Fans are blowing from every direction, so even in the middle of summer you can stay cool even eating outside. All of the tacos are $2.00. There are about 10 different types of meat fillings to choose from; mostly different variations of pork or beef. Most of the meats are stewed, finely shredded, and tender due to the long stewing process, rather than being griddle fried/seared. I favor the chicken because it is dark meat that is finely shredded and stewed to perfection, covered in chopped onion and cilantro. I would avoid the Barbacoa (shredded and stewed beef) because it tastes consistently gamey. They give you a side of lime and a size slice of avocado, as well as homemade chili sauce. Depending on the type of taco you order, you will receive red or green sauce. You can also order your taco gringo style covered in lettuce and crumbled cheese. Tacos are not the only items served, but I recommend them the most because they are cheap, healthy, and tasty. Next time you are in the area stop by, they are open late and are open on the weekends. read more

Very authentic and good food. The tacos were exactly what I was looking for an reasonably priced. The burrito wasn't as goo and was more like a large quesadilla. Most burritos are round due to having been "rolled", however this was definitely more on the flat side. Very good horchata. read more

When was booked to work in Bradenton recently, all I could think about all day was a yummy burrito from a taco truck that I went to years before. I drove to the spot where it was- but no taco truck. A quick online search led me to this hidden gem! It's a taco truck with separate indoor seating and tables. It's the kind of place that I knew would probably have great food, but I was honestly not expecting the super-friendly service! Even though I didn't see burritos on the menu, I asked for one and they made me an awesome one!! The burrito was not very big- I think that they make mostly tacos, so they may not have large tortillas. But if you are wanting more- order two! I think it was around $5. This place was fantastic! Fresh, delicious real Mexican food, fast and friendly service... I wish I lived closer!! My new favorite burrito South of the Skyway!! read more

AUTHENTICITY is unbeatable. I've tried almost every item on the menu. My favorite is the Beef Vegetable Soup (Caldo de Rez) good if you have a hang over They give you some diced onions and green pepper on the side with lime which adds a great taste. I also favor the chicken tacos. They have a seating area inside with cold drinks and cool air. I recommend this place if your near the area. This place might look a little rough but well worth the stop. I ordered five regular chicken tacos and it cost exactly five bucks. The tacos had chicken and a little feta with grilled onions, fresh lime, and same salsa verde in a small cup. $5? Are you kidding me? It was very good. They have several different options of tortillas with cheese and it all looks very good. I will be testing out some more soon. read more

This is a mexican food truck with indoor and outdoor seating in southern Manatee County. The food is cooked in a truck and served inside or outside on tables or you can take your food to go. The food was very good, served fresh and hot with delicious homemade taste. It is a little off the beaten path but worth a few extra minutes of driving to experience their food. I would recommend this restaurant highly with the expectations of very casual dining. read more

Literally the best tacos I have ever had. I have tried a bunch of different tacos and taco places not only in the greater Tampa area but also internationally and these tacos can't compare to anything i have ever had. If you are someone who is looking for delicious traditional tacos for an AMAZING price, come here. This place needs more recognition, the staff is utterly amazing. I come here on my lunch break from work almost every day- i've even forgotten my wallet (on accident) once and they were nice enough to let me pay the next time I came since I am there so often. 11/10 read more

TRY THIS PLACE! Cash only, so come prepared, but holy shit it is SO WORTH IT! My boyfriend was raised in California and is a taco snob and said this place is the best he's had since Cali. It is authentic and so freaking good and a darn shame they don't have more reviews. When u go, it's usually the other Mexican people there eating it because it's the real deal, what they eat and honestly I don't think many people know about it....besides the true Hispanic people who eat there because it's the closest they get to home. It a a taco truck, but permanent and they have indoor searing. TRY IT people! And tell me what you think! read more

Over the last couple weeks I have had the chance to make visits to pretty much all of the Mexican food spots in Bradenton, as found here on Yelp, as I have been finding the need to satisfy my Taco craving I have been having to deal with over the last few weeks. I am originally from California, and as far as I am concerned, the best Mexican food comes from there. That being said though I have been very satisfied with the food I have eaten. Taqueria Mi Rancho has the best Chicken in the area for Tacos. The whole setup they have here is really nice, you order your food, go into the covered area where they have tables and grab something to drink, then usually one of the ladies working on the truck bring your food to you, and when your done you pay, totally laid back, its really cool. read more

Authentic food truck here...doesn't look like much on the outside but don't let that fool you. You know the food is really good when there's a humongous line outside. I've been here three times in a week already and oh my gosh their chile relleno is to die for. You get two large poblano peppers stuffed with a ton of cheese and they're so ooey gooey...then they're topped with this yummy red spicy sauce and a side of rice & beans....mmmmm. The tacos are equally delicious and so far I've tried four of their tacos the carne asada (steak), the pastor (marinated pork), the barbacoa (shredded beef) and carnitas (shredded pork). You can get them on a flour or corn tortilla & you can add cilantro, onions, lettuce, cheese but I keep it simple and just get the onions and cilantro and they're divine. I also get a side of their salsa verde sauce which is mild in flavor or you can get this salsa roja which is more spicy. I'm telling you don't let the location and outside deter you from eating here because the food is absolutely delicious. read more
