Very nice experience here! Our server was incredible. The food was excellent! Pricing was on par. Huge Tequila selection and fresh-made cocktails. The ambiance is upscale and quiet, but they do have a couple TV's if you need to watch a match. Local parking is easy. We will definitely be back when in the area.

We love this place! Great, modern vibe. The menu is a modern take on Mexican food which we love. There are so many interesting dishes. We've had the al pastor sea bass tacos, mushroom and soyrizo taco, the steak sandwich, barbacoa torta, fuego rice bowl, and carne asada tacos. All of the tacos are amazing and come on homemade blue corn tortillas. The steak sandwich is phenomenal. Very tender meat and a delicious sauce. The torta was good but not as good as the rest of the dishes we've had. It was a little less dynamic flavor-wise than their other stuff. I tasted the meat (which was very good) but not much of else. They also have fantastic cocktails. I love the smoked bourbon old fashioned which gets smoked table-side. My wife loves The End is Clear cocktail. It's a very subtle flavor but it's phenomenal. Really great service and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the components of each dish which we love.

Looking for a great Happy Hour? This is the place! Complimentary chips and yummy (thick) salsa, great, priced bites, and delicious (labeled) wines at happy prices (not house wine). Absolutely loved our experience here, and service was outstanding. We'll definitely be back. Get there early, bar area fills quickly.

October 2025 ~ We absolutely loved this restaurant! Tiffany was our lovely server, she suggested the best margarita I've ever had - Spicy Pear.. she took great care of us. Beautiful interior and delicious food all around. From chips and salsa, entrees and dessert - see photos.

One of the best brunches I've ever had! I came for a birthday brunch recently and everything we had was phenomenal - the chef himself brought out the food and checked on us to ensure everything was up to standard! I will absolutely be back for more Nutella French toast and short rib enchilada skillets in the future!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the bar. Tiara was fantastic at making suggestions for us. We started out with the happy hour drinks which were fantastic for the price & had the happy hour mango habernero wings to start - delish! We also received complimentary chips & salsa. Loved the chips; salsa needs some spicing up but I understand that some people may not like that. Then I ordered the birria empanadas for dinner & my husband got the chicken fajitas. Both dishes were excellent! Atmosphere is beautiful & modern. Definitely coming back for sure!

The restaurant had a really nice vibe and I love how the patio seating allowed us to listen to the music, catch the breeze, and people wtZh. I went for a drink and churros. On Thursdays there were $8 martini specials and the Lemon drop with tequila was amazing! When you sit down they greet you with chips and salsa but we did not like the chips at all! They were extremely bitter so we asked the server to take them back. We just wanted a few churros but their only option was to get a family board which seemed like a huge miss for folks that want a smaller portion or even come in by themselves. However they were really good.

A neighbor recommended Fuego Comida & Tequila Lounge here in Bradenton (Lakewood Ranch) - and we're glad they did! The bar (where we were seated at a high-top) had great people-watching views - and an interesting rotating digital display of various paintings. We arrived about 4:00 for dinner, and it wasn't long until the restaurant was hopping. Dillon promptly arrived at the table, and although I was disappointed there were not frozen margaritas, the beer he suggested did the trick. My husband and I each had an enchilada skillet - he had the chicken, but I told him my beef skillet was better. Tasty, spicy (not hot, but very flavorful). Lots of cheese layered with the meat in a VERY hot skillet. What dinner would be complete without sharing dessert - and we had Dillon's recommendation of the butter cake, topped with ice cream, caramel sauce, and candied pistachios for texture. (Side note: a bar patron accidentally dropped her shrimp cocktail, and the servers were prompt cleaning it up and replacing her appetizer.) The manager stopped at our table to verify all was well. We absolutely plan to go back, but will plan to split a dinner as we're light diners - and I certainly don't want to pass on the dessert!

Beautiful restaurant, great staff. Complementary chips and salsa were brought out first thing. Chips were very heavily seasoned and just personal preference I like chunks of onion and cilantro in my salsa. We ordered the birria empanadas, chicken enchiladas, carne asada tacos with green rice. The best part was the empanadas. The carne asada was a little dry. Chicken enchiladas were good. The chicken was not dry. We also ordered a Watermelon Margarita and substituted mezcal. It was delicious.

The atmosphere is really calm & dim. The waiter was very nice and gave us a background of their restaurant, food was great & margarita flights AMAZING.

    Steak fajitas

Excellent food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. A very enjoyable dining experience, and I would gladly return.

We went to an early dinner. I hadn't been in the back section where they seated us and it was really nice. Since we were earlier in the evening it wasn't crowded yet and therefore it was quiet. The chips and salsa were great and we added the queso which was delicious. We then each ordered the enchilada skillets-mine was chicken and my husband's was the short rib. They were served hot and amazing! Our server Tanner was attentive and kept our drinks refilled and the chips replaced when empty! It was a wonderful evening and great food!

We were seated immediately in the lounge area at a high top. We ordered the happy hour spicy margarita and because we have never been there before we received a complimentary tequila tasting which was a nice touch. Our waitress was Abagail and she was very informative and super helpful. We started with the birra empanadas which were served with a dipping sauce. This was really great and flavorful. Next we had the scallops with corn succotash and spicy sauce w asparagus and the noodles with beef tip addition. Both were so very good. We both agreed we will most definitely be back. Service from Abagail was better than outstanding and the food was top notch.

We came in looking forward to chips, salsa, and tacos, but unfortunately left completely disappointed. We ended up spending about $60 and threw the food away. The chips were much too thick for our liking and were very bland--we actually had to add salt ourselves at the table. The salsa was also disappointing; it was very watery with only a few pieces of chopped tomato. The chicken and steak were very bland and the barbacoa was mostly grease and fat. I beg you: come hungry! You're going to want to try everything!…read more I was on my way back to Tampa from Sarasota and decided to stop in. This standalone restaurant is on a busy road, but has plenty of parking and a little lake next to the lot. It's big but cozy, with a fun decor-lots of booths and tables in two different rooms plus a bar to belly up to. My server was sweet and attentive-but didn't hover. She had perfect timing. The complimentary chips were warm and the salsa had just a little kick to it-good combo. I had to order the white queso dip... I mean, who am I if I don't try the queso? It was silky and comforting. I ate every drop. By this time I was full-but I wanted to try more things. I ended up going with the build your own: one taco (really tasty! Simple but oh so good!), one chile relleno (generous serving-lots of meat and cheese/less pepper) and one chicken enchilada Suiza (I think it was dark chicken-but check me on that). This is a lot of food-and you also get two sides! I chose rice and black beans-which were both excellent. The lunch menu has great choices/prices and there's a happy hour from 3-7 (not sure if it applies to the weekend-should have checked-sorry!). The booth was comfy and it wasn't loud in there (except for the folks next to me-who I now know wayyyyy too much about!) I think the ac was out when I was there-or on its last legs. But that's fixable. I'll definitely go back again. I had the house margaritas this time (good! Perfect sweetness levels-lightly strong, if that makes sense) and want to try others on the list. Clean-casual-good service-big menu. Thanks, Poblanos! See you soon!
